The outer rubber boot dust cover was to small and not Ridgid enough to hold the spring loaded component in the master cylinder. This master cylinder does not use a snap ring to hold components, just the lip of the boot. Had to use my old damaged boot. Not satisfied with new rebuild kit.

Ordered 2 kits. The dust cover on the first tore. Then tried the dust cover on the second and it tore. I ordered these kits based on previous reviews which all seemed positive, maybe i just received 2 lemons, who knows. Rebuilding master cylinders is not difficult and the kits are usually good quality but i would not want these kits in my bike.
