Happy with saddlebag rail support brackets
I got both the left side and right side saddlebag rail support brackets because the originals had rusted through at the bottom and had all ready been welded at least once on each side. I am very pleased with the brackets. They came in a timely manner and took a couple of minutes to replace. Happy with the appearance and the fact that they are holding everything in place.

2006 Street Glide replacement bracket, Awesome!
This was on a customers 2006 Street Glide. Their stock bracket broke in the bend at the bottom like most of them do. This was a really straight forward replacement, unbolt the rear fender bracket, unbolt the antenna mount, unbolt the top two bolts, pull the old one out, slide the new one in, put it all back together. Easy fix, and no more floppy saddlebag. Great replacement piece!

Fast shipping, excellent finish. However, it does not come with the “little clip” needed to attach a bolt to. Ensure you don’t throw away your old support bracket because that clip is on your old support bracket.

Looks the same as the OEM, maybe a hair thicker. Make sure you swap out the cage nuts if you have mounting hardware from the broken bracket before installing the new bracket.
Good fit, took some fiddling to get it completely in the OEM position, but it's a great replacement part on my FLHRCI!

Fit just fine but because the bracket is beefier the nut insert didn’t want to stay in it’s slot but a little work with a dremel tool solved that. Everything is back together and I’m riding!

Great fit! The OEM rail has rubber trim that touches the fender, the rail from drag specialties cuts the rail back 1/8 inch thus not requiring the rubber trim and no contact against the fender.. Cleaned up the rear fender area a lot and less contact reducing vibrations.

They are OK but why doesn't somone build a stronger one since this can be a reacuring problem? I save and weld up my busted ones.

This product is advertised to be 15% thicker to be stronger, but the extra thickness prevents the sliding nut for the saddlebag bracket from sliding. Either reduce the thickness where the sliding nut snaps in, or provide a larger sliding nut.

These brackets are way better then the flimsy stock ones. Chrome finish looks great. I held the stock bracket next to these. Not only can you tell by the weight of them, but you can see where drag specialties added material. I would recomend these. I didn't read the instructions so i couldn't tell you if they are good or not.

Perfect fit! About 30% thicker than original. This is my 2nd time replacing the left side. I believe it cracks from the exhaust not have a bracket to secure it to like on the right side exhaust & not having any reinforcement on the 90° bend. "gusset".

I replaced the left bracket with this Drag version several years ago. WAAAAY better than the flimsy OEM part! I have never had this Drag part crack, have had THREE OEM brackets crack on my Road King Classic. Replaced right bracket cuz OEM keeps cracking.
They look great. Easy to install. A little pricey considering this is the second set I’ve installed. The first set broke at the bottom where it connects to the saddle bag support which seemed to be a common thing after doing a little research. Not common with just this particular brand but several other brands as well. Hopefully this won’t occur again.

The top two eyelets were/are off. This made the spring bracket off which in turn created additional loosening of the "bag" bracket. It's on, but maybe could be drilled pressed out towards the top during off-season.

Great upgrade for the flimsy OEM bracket and also cheaper than OEM replacement. You may need to realign your docking hardware if you have it since this is thicker metal.
