Really like the designs tooled into the leather from the shift pattern to the desings on the cuffs the gloves look really cool. True fit sizing seems to be correct, have worn for multiple cold Michigan rides and hands stay warm. Well worth it for the money.
The leather for these gloves is very thin. Even at the price point of $45, they're thin. I got a Large which fits well, however, the normal amount of pull to get these gloves on caused the seam from the thumb in the palm to tear. There are also small tears starting to form in the leather itself at the bottom of the palm. Keeping in mind the fit is correct, the only way to get these on without causing a tear is if your hands are bone dry. Literally any moisture on your hands creates enough friction to tear them. Little sweat? Tear. Washed your hands and didn't THOROUGHLY dry? Tear. Humidity over 55%? Tear.
They look and feel good, but these are not made to be worn and used consistently. As expected, they provide little to no protection like similar styled gloves.
These are super thin. Probably not much thicker than latex gloves. They look nice but not much protection at all. A decent leather work glove is much better protection. Made in China too. Just all around way too flimsy for any kind of protection. Only way I would get these again is if they costed about 1/4 of the price and I needed some gloves to take a selfie in.
We sent them back. My husband has pair of these in another color and loves them, wanted the black ones. The pair we received was poorly made, the left index finger was twisted when sewn, looked and felt odd.
We will try reordering.
Comfy, look good, good dexterity....after only 2 days of the riding the leather is looking worn. Alright for $40. Time will tell.
