Fits Harley-Davidson Shovelhead engines 1978 through 1983.
The guide is 0.002 inches larger in diameter than stock, restoring proper clearance when the original guide is worn. Requires reaming or honing the cylinder head bore to match.
This is an exhaust (EX) valve guide. Order the intake (IN) part separately if you need both.
This part is for 1978-1983 Shovelhead models. Earlier Shovelheads may use different bore sizes — verify with the manufacturer.
Installation requires a valve guide driver and an arbor press, or professional machine shop service to press the old guide out and the new one in.

This set of three cables looks to be great quality. I have not installed these yet but are ready for when I replace the starter which is still going strong after 32 years ! So to be ready, I have a new All-Balls starter and cable set ready to install when needed.
High quality. Good value for the money. My only complaint is that the ground cable was not included as thought it would be.
