Does not last! Two season of riding and the chrome is already coming off and the part is rusting.
Easy to install and, it puts the brake pedal in a more user friendly position.

Perfect fit just far enough forward not to catch the toe of my boot low enough not to put your ankle on awkward angle. The extra length makes the brake feel like power brakes.

Perfect Relocation!
Exactly what I needed. The stock pedal I had to raise my foot to apply the brake pedal. This moves the pedal forward and lowers the pedal for a smooth braking position. Definitely recommend this item!
Great Investment
Installed this in place of my factory Pedal arm on my 2001 Heritage Classic. Big improvement on pedal location. The hardest part of the install was removing the Clevis pin holding to the brake actuator arm. Pressed fit so took some thinking outside the box.

This pedal is great, extended forward enough to give all of the floorboard for my foot. With stock pedal I would have to raise my foot to brake in center of floorboard.<br />Very well made. Very fast shipping.

Somehow I was sent the wrong pedal. I was logged in with the specs of a 2003 Road king Classic. I don't know if I ordered the wrong product or I was shipped the 1197-2007 by accident. Anyway, it is beautiful product and and it did not change the position of the brake pedal.
Everything I expected, moves pedal just enough forward to give me my whole running board. Looks amazing too.

Great finish. Great comfort. <br /><br />Removing old wasn't as easy as expected. ((01 electraglide). Maybe othered will be luckier. Loosen or relieve the master brake cylinder. Some have a few bolts to get that pesky pin out. The rest is just turning tools. <br /><br />Comfort is amazing. I don't think I need to move the floorboards forward now. I'm 6'1 and my feet fit fully on the floorboards.<br /><br />Brake pad was a bit annoying tii

Kuryakyn extended pedal
First impressions of the Kuryakyn extended pedal right out of the box. Great looking pedal. Looks to be made out of solid material. The pedal itself comes without a foot rubber or pad so you will have to either purchase or try to take of the stock pad from your original pedal. I went ahead and purchased an eagle to match the them of my bike that has the screaming eagle kit on it. Instalation was pretty straight forward on the 2007 Road King you have to take the foot board off for Instalation. I was able to to get to the cotter Pin with a pick tool magnet and long nose needle nose pliers. It is doable but you will have to have patience. After installation I sat on my bike to see if I noticed a whole lot of difference and honestly I did not notice much if any. Now I do have to say I haven't had a chance to ride due to time and weather so I'm going to have to give the benefit of the doubt. I did put each pedal side by side and matched everything up before installation and everything looked to be the same position not a lot of difference. I know from the pictures I took it's hard to see everything, but I matched up the bracket that connects to the master cylinder and you can see there is slight difference but not much. Again I haven't had a chance to give it a proper test other than sitting on the bike and feeling if there was a whole lot of difference. To me at this time it feels like the stock pedal. I have leg issues and was hoping that I would not have to lift my leg as much as the stock pedal, but again I haven't given it a fair test yet due to weather. Looks great on the the bike.
Nice finish, easy installation and functions as described. Being 6' 5" I need all the foot room I can get. <br />The pedal angle is so much easier to depress when breaking.
It did not work.
When comparing the Kuryakyn part to the factory part, I could not detect any difference in reach or angle. The pedal portion was at a different angle, but wouldn't achieve the desired results. The new part would not clear the aftermarket exhaust shield, and, since the part was scratched during attempted installation, it is not returnable and there forecast complete waste of money.

As described. 15 min job . Fits my 98 Fat Boy perfectly !! Move the pedal up and forward nicely for my big feet. The quality is better than expected .Nice when a product does what they advertise. Buy with confidence.

Not really sold on this item. Would not recommend purchasing. Spend the extra money and buy the soft brake at nearly twice the cost. There just isn't enough difference over stock. Oh well lesson learned. You get what you pay for

Nice part but they did not design it to clear aftermarket exhaust. They should go back to the drawing board and make it fit with some of the popular exhaust systems. It just clears my S&S pipe by about 1/16", which is not near enough with the rubber mounted engine. If they would have rolled it 1/4" forward it would haved cleared nicely. I am going to modify it to fit, it has a good quality chrome finish and is very well made.

Wow what a difference, chrome finish top cabin, I have extended floor boards, this contour allows for a much smoother shorter reach for brake pedal. Installed on 2007 ultra perfectly!

I’ve put this pedal on 4 different bikes now, 2 Soft Tails and 2 Street Glides, fairly easy to install, SG’s a little harder due the the crash bar, removed it and went on no problem, a little tight to work but doable.

Top notch on quality & fit. This brake lever is chromed correctly. The insert bearing is high quality. Grease fitting already installed. Fits perfectly with no slop or play on my 1997 Heritage Classic. Plus it looks much better than the stock lever! Installed on a 2000 Road King. High quality part. In addition to giving more space on the floorboard the extra length of this pedal makes rear brake easier to apply. Only a couple of tough spots on the install: 1) the cotter pin in the master cyl clevis is hard to get at; 2) the clevis pin was seized in its home on the master cyl shaft. (spent lots of time on that one )

Was looking fora pedal that was farther forward and a tad lower than stock. This one is higher which did open up space on my footrest but not really what i wanted.

so...easy install, looks great. Can't tell you how it works cuz I don't have a pad on it. Why is there no pad...well there is no information on the package or product information about which foot pad to order, so naturally I order the wrong one and now I am waiting for what I HOPE is the RIGHT ONE. Not the one I want or the one that matches all my other ISO gear.

Well, at least it looks better than the original pedal.<br /><br />There is no difference in length from the original pedal on my 09 Fatboy. The pad does sit flatter than the original.<br /><br />So the only improvement for my bike is that it looks cool and thats it. Well made part however if that helps.<br /><br />So if your expecting a longer flatter better positioned brake pedal on a 09 Fatboy, this ain't it.

The pedel extension worked well. The installation was a little tricky for an amateur but I mastered it. I think this brake pedal extension will make it easier for my foot to be seated on the floor board and help easy the transition to apply the brake.

Nice, now my foot fits on my FLTR floorboard (I have big feet). Had to remove exhaust to get the pin out but after that it installed easily. Couldn't get the old rubber pad off, had to buy a new pad. Works great.

Ordered this extended brake pedal as the design of the original on my '98 Fatboy was too short and just plain stupid. The new assembly came quickly and was a breeze to install. I can't wait for the warm weather to try it out!

easy to install but the pedal is at the wrong angle and still sticks up to far and you only cat the edge of the pedal not the flat part, needs to be redesigned, it does make more room on the floor board
I installed this pedal this morning, super easy installation. Puts the pedal in a more natural position and allows me to use the full running board! Excellent product, thicker metal than the stock one, you need this!

Looks nice, but it is no easy task installing it on a 2000 FLHTCI. The clevis pin is a bear to take out. I had to buy a new clevis pin and cotter pin. The cotter pin that came with the brake pedal was too thin and the head was too small. Other than that, I like the pedal. It really is nice to be able to put my entire foot on the floorboard.

Advertised as lower and longer but in reality it is nearly the same length as stock.
This is exactly what I needed, gives just enough room for my big foot to fit comfortably on the board. Installed in about 20 minutes and the stock pad fit with no problems. I should of replaced this brake lever sooner.
A BIG BIG PLUS! for the 2001 Electra Glide. Puts the pedal at the front of the floor board and at a flater angle. According to Kuryakn's website this pedal is about the same length as 2002 and up but will offer a flater pedal position. On my 2001 though it made a world of differance in being able to have more right foot movement on the floor board

I agree with crowcall. This was what my 2001 Road King needed. Your foot was trapped under the orginal brake pedal. This extended pedal moved the brake pad forward 2 inches, putting it at the end of the floorboard. Wish I had done it sooner.

The extended brake pedal is just what that 2001 model needed. The other(stock)pedal was very unsafe and should have been recalled by the factory and replaced at no charge by [the manufacturer]. Let us dream on! Thanks for the fast service!!!!
