Very good product. HOWEVER, I didn't realize it was plastic. As I was trying to shape it to my fender for a perfect fit, I broke off a tip; then had to break off the other side to match. <br />Wit some sanding and a chrome paint touchup pen, I was able to make it work.

Does not fit well the 2007 Harley fatboy. About 1/2 to 1 centimeter too small.

Very easy to install. The double sided tape comes separate. Both sides have peel off label. Mount the black side to the part first and remove label off the side that sticks to the fender. Be careful lining it up and slid it on, you only get one chance as it is very sticky.

This trailing edge trim was the final piece in finishing out all the fender trim on my '16 Fat Boy. Looks great, and easy to install. I've added the front tip, trailing edge, and rear fender accents and I love the look! Do it!

Easy installation ....just peel and stick <br /><br />Sure It's plastic but I needed it to cover and unsightly ding on the edge of my FATBOY rear fender .<br />It covered it and it looks pretty good . Excellent fitment

I liked the shipping packaging and chrome piece was bright and shinny. I made sure trim fit the fender. I cleaned the fender and installed trim and clamped over night. Next day went for a ride with no issues. I had looked for a front fender leading edge trim for awhile and was lucky to find this at J@P cycle parts.

Looks great! I had a few small rock chips so I touched them up and put the fender tip on. Love the way it looks. It's plastic so it's kind of fragile but it did the trick!
You won't be sorry. I DID NOT want to drill holes in my fender. Fits just right.

Follow the directions. Make sure u clean the area with the alcohol swab. Activate the tape by rubbing it and install. Very easy to install and looks great.

The product fits great looks good. The only thing don’t put a item that will fit in the palm of your hand in a box that won’t fit in a mailbox. Makes costumer have to go to post office to retrieve very annoying send ups are fed ex a box with air bags on a smaller item is a waste of my time and your money.

Bad fit, adhesive tape did not hold. Ended up using RTV to mount. Not sure it will hold. Nice piece though.
When you put on the self adhesive the fit goes away!!

it's plastic!!!! mounting is by double back tape!!! disappointing for the price.
I was expecting the product to have a lip that slide onto the fender tip, but it's a thin piece of metal that you tape on with double back tape. somewhat disappointing, but I taped it on. Looks ok, I guess. could be better.
Purchased and installed front lead/rear and rear fender trail. Was concerned about some of the reviews about the front fender lead. (Who wants to see thier accents fly off!)<br /><br />First thing I recommend is visit 3M's site. Monkey simple prep/protips.<br /><br />And next the word "dual sided" tape is understatement. Think of it more of a pre-fromed expoxy from hell.<br /><br />I been doing everything trying to compromise the bonding. Cruising at 90mph to riding the clay/dirt logging trails to set up camp for the night.<br /><br />Remember it takes 24 hours to cure. I also used a few "C" clamps during this time to keep a even/mild compression on them.<br /><br />Side note: They do SET OFF your fenders. Old school style.

Looks great, however the 2 sided tape is a bit weak. Have been thru 2 of them due to falling off. They have both been applied according to instructions. The rear and rear front fender have no issues. The front one needs stronger tape due to the extra force of riding, or at least that is how it seems. I do like the look when they are one the bike.
The Kuryakyn fender tips look great and are easy to install. They really dress up my Fat Boy and look better than the stock ones.
