When I got these mirrors, I loved them. Style, use, install are all great. Loved them. But now, after a season, I do not recommend. They have worn very badly, have a lot of bad pitting and just look like crap. For how expensive these are I would expect them to not look this bad after less than a year. I wouldn't expect them to look this bad after 5 years for that matter.

Best Visibility Mirror You WIll Find

If your 1st goal is a functional mirror, then these are without a doubt the best mirror you can add to you Harley. Where the HD mirrors fall short of the end of the the bar and leaving you seeing mostly your arm, these extend just far enough out to see past your arm. The convex glass allows you a larger field of view. Whether you choose all black, all chrome of one of the 2-tones you cannot go wrong with these mirrors. After being rear-ended, seeing what is coming behind me is very important, as well as being able to properly see the behind me for lane changes. This is my 3rd set of these mirrors. I have had the black w/ chrome and chrome w/ Black on my Fat Boy Lo after redoing the bike and going with more chrome. Just added the all chrome to my current Breakout because riding with the factory mirrors just left me feeling uneasy in traffic or at lights.

Works of Art.

Very nice mirrors. I couldn't decide between these (chrome with black accent) and the Kuryakyn Magnum Mirrors, so I ordered both. My plan was to send return one. I ended up installing the Heavy Industry mirrors. The black accent on the chrome was the deciding factor. It accented the black seat and saddle bags on my 2004 Heritage. But I really liked the Magnums so I plan to keep them and maybe switch later or use them on another bike. These mirrors are pricey, but when you see them and hold them you'll know why. They're way heavier and substantial than your average mirror. They are works of art and a nice touch. They are also quite functional with good adjustment capability and also much less vibration than most mirrors.
