Frequently Asked Questions

How do Gold Plus pads compare to stock brake pads?

They deliver 30% more stopping torque with zero dust and rotor wear, while remaining street-friendly without the maintenance of full race pads.

Will these pads damage my rotors?

No — the organic Carbon-Kevlar compound produces no rotor wear compared to sintered pads.

How long do they typically last?

Service life generally averages about 18,000 miles depending on riding style and conditions.

Do these require a break-in procedure?

Like any new brake pads, bed them in with progressive stops before hard braking to seat the friction material on the rotor.

Are these good for touring and heavy braking?

Yes — Gold Plus pads are ideal for heavy touring and hard stopping in both wet and dry conditions.

Gave my brakes a BETTER FEEL and stronger clamping pwr but

the pads are THINNER than the HD brembo pads(stock) that I replaced it with. This means I will be replacing these pads more often...more business for Lyndall. I do however plan on trying their new Xtreme pads after these gold plus wear out...which shouldnt take long since it's on the thin side to begin with.

Lyndall Gold Plus

I always replace the squeaky stock brake pads on all my Harley’s with Lyndall Gold Plus brake pads. They are quiet, smooth and provide the expected stopping power for my 2017 Road Glide Ultra.

My "GO 2" Brake Pads

XTreme squealed alot and I mean alot!!! Hard on rotors and only work at their best when hot. Stock pads are oh if you are not an aggressive rider. EBC Semi Sinter pads are slightly better then OEM HD pads. BUT~!~~ these Gold pads check all the boxes and no more brake dust. My 5th Harley and I love these pads the best. I have them on my 2020 FLHX Stage III and my 2020 FLHTCUTG Trike Stage II and my 2008 Fatboy Stage I. I'm very happy with the results of the Gold Lyndall Brake Pads. Worth the extra price you sure get what you pay for. Yes they last longer as well...

These seem good so far, I have about 500 miles on them. I replaced my stock pads because they squealed. My only complaint is theses don't have a lot of pad thickness, my HD pads had 10k miles on them and probably still had as much pad thickness as these.

Longest lasting brakes yet. I drive a 100 miles a day on an ultra limited in California traffic. I'm hard on brakes due to idiot drivers in their cages and these brakes last.

Lyndall quality

These work great, I paired them with an Arlen Ness rotor for the rear and she stops on a dime.
