Great tube so far!
Gave this tube five star, because unlike my Maxxis tube, this hasn't split at the seam yet. .
Michelin has built tires since 1889 and supplies original equipment rubber for Harley-Davidson. The Commander series is developed specifically for heavyweight cruisers and baggers, where mileage and wet grip both have to hold up under load.
This Michelin Ultra HD off-road and dual sport tube is engineered for the demands of V-twin motorcycles. Its unique construction provides enhanced durability and balance for riders who push their bikes on varied terrain.
When you're running your Harley or Indian Motorcycle off the beaten path, a robust inner tube is critical. This Michelin Ultra HD tube is built to withstand the rigors of off-road and dual-sport riding, delivering reliability when it counts. Its thoughtful design ensures a stronger, more balanced setup for your V-twin.
Whether you're tackling fire roads or light trails, this Ultra HD tube is designed to reduce the risk of pinch flats and tube failures. The stronger overlap splice means greater resistance to impacts and stresses, keeping you rolling on your V-twin adventure. It's a smart upgrade for any rider looking to enhance their bike's resilience.
What makes this tube stronger than a standard tube?
This Michelin tube features an overlap splice instead of a butt splice, which creates a larger, stronger bond area, making it more resistant to failure under stress.
Why is the splice positioned opposite the valve stem?
Positioning the splice opposite the valve stem helps to balance the tube as the wheel rotates, reducing vibrations and contributing to overall durability and a smoother ride.
Will this tube fit my Harley-Davidson or Indian Motorcycle?
This tube is designed for V-twin motorcycles, including Harley-Davidson and Indian models. Please confirm your specific tire size with our Shop by Bike tool before ordering to ensure correct fitment.
