Good tire
Michelin version of the Harley-Davidson Dunlop. Cheaper and hopefully last longer. Better looking than the Dunlop. Happy so far.

This is a front tire only. Order the corresponding rear size separately for your model.

Michelin version of the Harley-Davidson Dunlop. Cheaper and hopefully last longer. Better looking than the Dunlop. Happy so far.
Save money by buying tire here, and if you can mount and balance the tire yourself that will save another $100. These Michelin's griped the road and lasted nearly 12,000 miles of hard riding. Road in all conditions, including Rocky Mountain storms and never felt nervous. Always held good around winding roads including the Black Hills.
This will be the 3rd Scorcher 31 tire I've run on my 10 Street Bob. The factory 160, a 180, and now another 180. I got 11200 out of the 160 and 11600 out of the first 180. I feel the tire has good grip and has never given me any issues on wet pavement. Another reason I choose them at this point is I know what I'm getting. I just stay on top of the tire pressure and have had pretty good luck with the mileage.
2004 Roadster (XL1200R); 80% commute, 20% weekend cruising<br /><br />2nd set of Scorchers. First lasted 18,000 front and rear and still had life it them, but were getting scary in the rain and not as planted around turns. Both tires remained predicable up until the 13-15k mark, and then started downhill, which prompted me to purchase then swap them for new Scorchers. Good looking tire, branded HD. Great handling tire for regular commuting, and holds up well in the turns. I have upgraded suspension front and rear, fork brace, etc., so I do 'corner' on a Harley. Please understand that means edge to edge wear on the tire, but not at the lean angles of a sportbike. These tires held up for a long time, and the cost to age value was agreeable, so I bought another set. Talk to you all in about 18 months.
The good: excellent rain performance, excellent grip, nice looking tire that gave a smooth ride and performed well. No issues whatsoever.<br /><br />The bad: at 8K miles they are down to the wear bars. I ride 60% highway, 40% country roads, and always have my tire inflation to spec. A modern multi-compound tire like this should last for 12-16K, which has been my experience with the other OEM brand used by Harley...which I will be going back to.<br /><br />If you're a low mileage rider, you may enjoy the Scorchers. If your miles are high and you don't want to get new tires every year, there are better options.
Replacing a front tire with less than 5k on it. This was a factory set of tires on my FXDWG. Overall handling and traction is great. The rear tire will likely get me about 7k miles, which is acceptable. Will definitely not be going back with the Scorcher 31.
Michelin Scorcher replaced Metzler 880 on the rear of my 2009 Dyna Street Bob. I do not ride hard, I cruise to work mostly. The Metzler had developed a flat spot after 7k miles and the bike handled terribly. Cornering was not fun. <br /> Once the new Michelin was on the back I noticed an immediate improvement. Confidence around corners was restored. An excellent tire value.
Its the second rear Ive put on the Dyna. 14k on the first one. 75+ on the highway and respectable rolling burnouts still got 14k....
If you want a tire that grips in a curve and is a smooth ride this tire the one. I got 12,000 miles out of the rear but the front is only getting 13,500 and its time to replace. I did notice at about 10,000 the rear tire was losing its grip. Still better than a Bridgstone I rode with. Went back with this Tire it handles great and last. I ride a 2014 Dyna Low hope this helps Black Cloud Ks
These tires are great! Not only do they look great, they're smooth when riding. I definitely recommend them to anyone
Replaced my front tire with the same that came on my 2018 HD Low Rider. Works great for me on curvy roads along the coast and woods of Marin and Sonoma counties. I replace front and rear at the same time, 10k.
Yo! These tires grip really well to the road, Ive more than conquered cornering in my turns with these new bad boys on my old Harley, GRREAT deal too, you cant beat it man, believe me,<br />I LOOKED EVERYWHERE <br />-your friend, Ricky Loco
Cheaper than the Harley Dealer and its the same exact tire that came on my bike, very happy with the purchase
Just replaced the original set of tires on my 16 Iron 883. They had over 21,000 miles on them. Cant complain with that. Looking forward to the next 21k
Well, I surprised people are talking about bad grip in the wet and still giving it 5 stars. To me, 5 stars mean the tire performs great in all conditions. At the end pretty much any tire can hold the road when it's perfectly dry. <br /><br />I currently have these at around 14K (and looking for a replacement) and I should say they slip in the rain. If you're looking for something more reliable in various road conditions look for something else. <br /><br />Look great tho!
It's an ok tire. Definitely better tires out there. I got it because it's a oem part for my bike. Wears out very fast.
I had 2 sets of these on my 2023 lowrider s and they are really grippy but the only thing I do not like about them is the tires only last up to 4-5,000 miles no mater what first set i rode nice and easy and second set i rode hard and 2 up. For that amount of monwy its not worth it putting tires on every 3-4 months. Definitely going with a different brand next time.
Grips great have 165hp rear wheel. Last about 2 years
I like the look of the tires. Only had them a few days but the ride is good and they handle well.
This tire have me 5,000 more miles then my Dunlop tire for only $20.00 more.
Best tires by far! 2nd time owning them and got to say will keep on buying them for my 2018 iron 883
I highly recommend this Product as does Harley-Davidson. My only complaint is wear, but hey, the back tire wears out first right down the middle because I choose the Fun setting on the throttle. With the right weight transfer it will pick the front off, locked brake or not. Sticky never lasts forever, so I choose sticky. I take a lot of long sweepers on rural highways with complete confidence in Michelin. My FXDLS is a lot heavier than a green rocket but I can still do wheelies on either end.
I have these tires on my 2016 Harley Davidson iron 883. My last pair lasted 9,043 miles and Im putting on a new pair this friday. Tread is confidence inspiring in rain or shine, and hold traction even when riding spiritedly. No complaints here.
First bike and first set of tires. These came stock on my 17 Sportster XL1200 Custom. These are fantastic on dry pavement as I lean hard and have never felt any slip. Wet pavement I have learned to take it easy as these will spin pretty quick and lock under braking with start of rain but settle in to about what I would expect after the grime has washed off the roads. I am nearing 9000 miles and I have about 2/32's left before I get down to the wear bars. I expect maybe 10k miles is about average for these tires. I see some reviews saying over 10k but they are probably not riding as hard as I am. Overall I say these are great and will be replacing these with the same.
Love the look of the tire when I received it I thought the Harley emblems on the sidewall were a cool feature along with the name on the tire as well, as far as the function ability of the tire goes only had it on there a week and I can tell you I rode with a pack and i ended up having to lock up the rear end and that tire brought me to a complete halt doing 60 miles an hour probably within 20 or 30 ft saved my neck and my bike, allows the rider to lean hard into Corners and not have to worry about whether or not you think the tires going to slip out from underneath you, great Tire I would buy it again.
They last longer than a lot of tires I've had. But I can't wheelie because no grip lol. But seriously. The grip is pretty limited. Keep that in mind when trying to spin out in the rain or something. Take it a bit slower. <br /><br />Overall a great commuting tire. Good life span.
There awesome ?? super fast shipping
Ordered tires for my husbands Lowrider and Street Glide. Easy to order and shipping was great receiving tires within a week of ordering! Thanks for a good website!
VERY GOOD TIRE
I’ll like it even more when you guys get the front tire in stock
Bought my bike in 2015 and already had these tires on it. Tires still looked good and handled great but thought i should replace.
These are excellent tires for your Harley, well worth the price and considerably longer lasting than the Dunlop tires for H-D. Typical life for me has been over 8000 miles for both front and rear. Grip is excellent, and they provide a nice ride.
I have friends who hate them and yet I love them (tho it's the only tire I've ran on this bike) I consistently get atleast 9k before I have to replace them mainly because of winter or because of a long tire coming. I have gotten over 10k on a rear over last summer.
Great ride and grip on turns
I've got almost 15k miles on my rear tire. I bought my bike that had them in April. It's now October 1st. Great tire so far.
Free Shipping and got them in 5 days.
arrived in a few days. mounted by CG the next day. well done.
Date codes of manufacturing were way different , bought a pair of tires, rear was made over a year ago. Front was made a few months ago
Great tire for a hot rod bike. Amazing balance between grip and durability, I ride my bike hard and I got 11K miles out of it!
I have been using this tire brand 13 years and never had issues with it wears great doesn’t cup or chaff
Best tire for the fxdwg, great price and fast shipping. Would buy again. Saved 200$ from the dealer
It is a great tire an a great price
Super tire. Already purchased the matching rear. I've been on Dunlop for years and excited to be on the Michelins.
First pair I had was on the bike when I got it used. A 2011 Super glide. Tires were 13 years old and no dry rot and only 3,720 miles on them. They were still soft and grippy. So I ran them for about 2500 miles and bought the new ones. I pushed my luck far enough. The new ones are so far so good. Haven’t ridden them in the rain yet but very good on dry.
Good tire, good price, fast shipping. Jys put 1000 miles on it in a weekend and very happy with it.
Can’t go wrong with the original equipment tire. The only reason for 4 stars, the DOT # is from early 2023, I put a lot of miles on my bike so not a big issue, but if this was for a customers bike I would have a problem with installing a 1 year old tire on their low mileage bike.
I like The Michelin scorcher 3 1. It's a good tire but the price has gone up since the last time I bought one kind of pricey.
Original tire was on the 14' sportster i biught for my son. What adifference!
Was very surprised at how fast I got them. 3 days. I ordered 2 sets, one for my Iron 1200 and the for my daughters iron 883. We both got good mileage out of our 1st set so went with them again.
It was nice both the front and rear tires were in stock. What i didn't like was the deliveries were days apart from one another, and the front tire looking used, looked like it was a tire ran on a gravel road.
When it arrived it was in great condition so I mounted and balanced it and the bike rides great!
Lots of miles out of these tires
Great tire, good price.<br />Don't bother balancing them. Mine was out of balance. I suggested a friend get his tire there, he did and his was also out of balance. Have an adjusted price for just mounting, I will balance it myself which I had to do anyway. <br />The weights were on the wrong side of the nearest spoke to the balance point. <br />Bring back the free mounting.
Always ran Michelin tire on my bike always been happy with them.
They're the best tires I've had on my Harley.
replaced front at 7k miles still in great shape but original 10 years old so preventive maintenance, rear was recently replaced. Shipped to home, so at my convenience brought wheel and tire to CG, installed and balanced great deal excellent service. Paired with Michelin tube needed for spoke wheel ftw
Got my 2015 Sportster 1200 Custom in May. It had 8,700 miles on it. With the original tires on it. I was impressed with the tread life on the tires. So I got a new set of scorcher 31's. Installed and balanced myself. Love the tires.
This was original equipment on my Wide Glide. It has preformed excellent for me & it lasted 13,000 miles before having to replace it. This tire has earned my trust & I’ll continue to use it.
They’re great still waiting for my rebate
This is my 2nd set. I was happy with first set and had no reason to even look at another tire. Can’t go wrong.
Good tire. Works great on my Dyna. The last one went 10,000 miles and wasn't quite to the wear bars.
This will be my second set of Michelin Scorcher 31 tires, purchased first set in 2019 had 23k on the bike, now replacing with a new set and 44k miles on the bike, hopefully this set will get me another 21k miles. ride a 2016 street glide special.
After getting over 12k Mike's on my original tires and checking reviews on other brands I decided to stay with these. My second set got over 9k so I guess these are my go to for my riding needs
I have a 2017 Road Glide special and have just put on my 4th set of Scorcher 31 tires. i noticed better handling over the stock Dunlop tires in the first ride. much better on corner entry and all the way thru the corners. very good traction on all pavement types. These tires wear very evenly I check my tire pressure every week and rarely have to add air. I live in Montana and our roads are not that great. I do a lot of 400 to 800 mile a day rides. if I did not love these tires I would not be on my 4th set.
Like the tire better than the ordering process
Tires look and feel good on the road put 200 miles on bike tire grips really good. New tires my deuce handles super again.
Awesome tire grips the road nice
Came very quick so I didn’t loose riding tine
Nice tire and performance is what I expected
I’m direct replacing what was on the bike The one that is on seams to be o k just worn down
These tire ride amazing. They grip the corners like you are in rails. I am extremely comfortable with these tires
Shipped super fast and so far im lovin it, good grip, good looking tire. Salesman recommended and am happy he did!
Fast shipping. Great tire, had my last one for about 12,000 miles and there was still a bit of life left in it. Grips well perfect for my cruiser
Great tire great traction. Better than the Michelin pilot road 3. Buzz in the front tire had to go. Checked bearings, steer head bearings, fall off fork clamps, tire pressure , rebalance still buzzed. Installed and balanced the scorcher 31 smooth as silk baby.
Bought as a set , great tore
I ride a '16 wide glide with 18K on my rear tire. Front went in 10k. I ride hard and the skinny front tire gets beat. Great tire no complaints. I have been looking for a replacement since spring. Got to love the supply chain.
The Best Bang for my dollar as Tires Go !

Loved this tire so much had to replace it with the same after 11,000 miles
Tire is great in wet conditions. Tires due last along time too. My 1st tire lasted 8k miles.
Is very good tires nice and sticky . you don't have to worry about taking a Conner and losing a bit of trackshon..
Great service. Order fulfilled fast and accurate.
Was looking forward to trying out the Scorcher . I ordered the wrong size and tried to order it again and they dont make it in 18"
Happy with shipping and the price.
My wife love it!
OEM for my Dyna. Surefooted in dry but slippery when wet. Don?t expect to get much more than 5k-6k out of a set either. I went through 2 sets and then changed to Commander III and happy so far.
Nice tires I run them all the time , will buy again
Great tire for my bike, grips good as l ride through the back roads and mountains, a place where you really need traction, might go a little wider next time ,
Great tire....Nice softness, great traction....rides fantastic...
Great bars changed the whole ride glad I got them
Great priced tire and great replacement if you want stock

Thank you guys tires is on and rolling good doing business with you again
Seems to be a good tire. Good comfortable ride smooth through the corners. Only giving it a 4 star review because I only have 200 miles on it and not sure what kind of mileage I will get from it.
Fair deal
Really impressed. Rides like a new, and not a bad price.

This tire rides smooth and corners well for my HD Roadglide Special. Time will tell how well it holds up. I replaced a Commander II which wore unevenly and did not produce the miles touted.
Great tire! This is my 3rd. Got 19000 out of each of the other 2.
What I wanted. Fast Shipping! Good Tire overall.

Great tire to replace my OEM Dunlop rear. Hoping to get similar mileage. Feels nice and planted through the turns
just got it on the bike so i can't give it the full 5 yet. gotta test on it first. seems great so far. about as wide as you can go on a 2000 dyna. make sure it doesn't hit fender bolts. it looks mean as frig. about to do the east coast. will report back...

I like the tire. Haven’t put a lot of miles on it yet but I feel like It will perform just fine.
I replaced Metzeler 888s on a 2010 FLTRX at 10,000 miles wear. <br />The Michelin Scorchers are a far better "turning" tire. The bike rolls into banks with noticeably lighter effort. The ride is comfortable as a FLTRX gets, the grip instills confidence.

Like the brand, can't go wrong with Michelin
Just what I wanted got 13,000 miles out of the exact tire
I GOT 26,000 MILES OUT OF MY FIRST TIRE SO I BOUGHT THE SAME ONE. GREAT PRICE , EASY CHECKOUT AND FAST SHIPPING . HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TIRE
I read reviews on the Michelin Scorcher and figured I would give them a try. They handled good and the bike rides well. I don't have many miles on them so can't so I can't speak to how well they wear.

My front tire is the original that came on the bike new in 2010. I have a little over 12 k on the front tire. I will keep buying this tire. Front tire is almost bald and still hugs the road

Lager improvement over the Dunlop elite , scorcher 31. Has good grip and ride smother. They handle well and do not trac in groves of bad pavement.
Took a little wait than expected. But overall satisfied with the product.
Great tire! Smooth ride and amazing grip
I can’t believe the difference a back tire makes. It’s a whole different ride. It may have a shorter life due to stickier compounds. I don’t even know if that’s accurate yet. I don’t care. I will stick with this tire. Tighter corners. Smoother ride. Couldn’t be happier.

This tire went on my husband's motorcycle. He's rough on everything. Having said that, I feel like the tire trend could have lasted longer than it did. Price was good, though.

Always like the Michelin tires
Always like Michelin tire
Perfect just what I needed
Great treadwear. Always order your own tire and have a local shop install it instead of going to the dealership. Got this tire ordered and installed for less than $160. Local Harley dealer quoted me close to $300 to supply the tire and do the job.
I like them so far I have just got them at the very beginning of the riding season and not put more then 300 miles as of yet it's been cold so far lol. Haven't had them in the rain yet
Replacement for stock tires on my 883 iron, Best price and Fast shipping
Just got this to replace the rear on my 15 fxdwg. Its a stock replacement. There is just over 12k on the odometer and the original was done. Hardly any tread across the flat of the tire, wont reach washingtons head on a quarter. Maybe have 1k left? The sides still have maybe 2-3k left in them. The front tire is still great wear wise, ill probably replace soon due to age. I corner fast and hard and the sides of the tire have held up really well. The tire holds up just fine in the water. Ive never had any loss of traction. Most of my riding is on the highway going 80mph+ even in the rain. I personally think the tires have great traction. Onto the order. Got here in 3 days. Date code on the side of the tire is for Sept of 18. Tire was shipped in no packaging at all. Inspected the tire for damage and there is none visible. All in all, i am very pleased with the order.
5-Star
Great grip and durability.
Love Michelin tires. Grip is terrific and they last so much longer. Motorcycle tires are expensive enough (including having them mounted) so paying a little more to have them last longer is a no-brainer.
The tire rode fine and handled good but lasted less than 10,000 on the front of my flh. Go with the commander II.
Ordered My tires for my 2010 Ultra Classic and had them show up the next day. They were easy to mount and needed very little balancing. They made the bike handle much better than the original tires and have excellent grip in wet conditions. So for I think they are great. Hoping to get a lot of miles from them. Thanks Revilla.
Love my new tires. Happy back on the road again. Thanks. Mark
