Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to remove the carburetor to adjust idle?

No — the cable adjuster design lets you reach and turn the idle screw without pulling the carb or fuel tank.

Will this fit my Harley with a Mikuni carburetor?

Yes, if your Harley uses a standard Mikuni carb with a stock idle port. Verify your carb model before ordering.

What's included?

The cable adjuster tool only. You'll use your existing screwdriver or adjustment tool with the cable end to turn the idle screw.

Really couldn't stand the look of the dangling adjuster. Screw the old one out, transfer the spring, screw this one in and you're done. Also, you can still adjust the idle speed while sitting in the seat (on my 94 WG). Highly recommended.

Very nice piece. You do need to remove the switch housing on that side, drill out the existing hole and tap it. (Tap not included but a standard size). Works precisely as it should and a big improvement over the stock set up. Oh and it looks great too.

Solves the dangly speedometer cable effect of the stock idle screw, easily modified. I put a chrome dice on the end of mine and it looks trick.
