About Mikuni

Mikuni has supplied carburetors and fuel-system components to the motorcycle industry for decades, and its HSR series remains a common choice for carbureted Evolution and Twin Cam V-twins where a clean, tunable fuel curve matters more than electronics.

This Mikuni idle screw adjuster tool features a flexible cable design, providing convenient access to your carburetor's idle adjustment screw. It eliminates the need to remove the carburetor or fuel tank for RPM tuning. This tool allows for quick and precise idle adjustments on carbureted V-twin motorcycles.

Why riders pick this

  • Cable design for easy idle screw access
  • Adjust idle without removing carb or tank
  • Enables quick, precise RPM tuning
  • Fits standard Mikuni carb configurations
  • Durable construction for shop or roadside use

Tuning your V-twin's idle speed often means wrestling with tight spaces or even pulling the fuel tank and carburetor. This Mikuni cable idle screw adjuster solves that problem. Its flexible design allows you to reach the idle adjustment screw on standard Mikuni carburetors, making on-the-fly RPM adjustments simple and straightforward. Whether you're fine-tuning after a cam swap or just need to tweak your idle for changing conditions, this tool makes the process hassle-free.

Effortless Idle Tuning On The Go

  • Cable design provides easy access to the idle screw
  • Eliminates carb or fuel tank removal for adjustments
  • Allows for quick and precise RPM tuning
  • Compatible with standard Mikuni carb configurations

This Mikuni tool means you can quickly adapt your idle speed to altitude changes, engine temperature, or personal preference without a major teardown. It's a small investment that pays off in convenience and consistent engine performance, making it a valuable addition to any V-twin owner's toolkit.

Really couldn't stand the look of the dangling adjuster. Screw the old one out, transfer the spring, screw this one in and you're done. Also, you can still adjust the idle speed while sitting in the seat (on my 94 WG). Highly recommended.

Very nice piece. You do need to remove the switch housing on that side, drill out the existing hole and tap it. (Tap not included but a standard size). Works precisely as it should and a big improvement over the stock set up. Oh and it looks great too.

Solves the dangly speedometer cable effect of the stock idle screw, easily modified. I put a chrome dice on the end of mine and it looks trick.
