Tastes Bad.
Tastes bad. Like, really bad.
Great synthetic
I tried this oil as it was on sale. At first I was worried as the color of the oil is red like ATF. I reread the bottle a couple times to make sure I had in fact bought motor oil! Bottom line I did and it is a great oil! I use in my Concours 14 and plan to stretch oil changes out to 4-5000 miles with this product. You know it is ready to change when the oil color loses it's red color. My bike runs and shifts very smoothly with the product. I have done two oil changes with it now and have no reason not to keep using it.

PROS: Smooth running, Durable oitl

GL1800
With all the trany gears a Goldwing has to keep lubricated, as well as the engine, this oil is the best I used.. .Tried Amsoil, mobil one, and the honda stuff, nothing comes close to this stuff... Best smooth shifting period. The engine runs nice and cool and quite as a church mouse. Try it and you love it.. SC-Wing
Great stuff!
2016 Yama Bolt 950, drive every day to work and back except in the worst weather.
Yamalube, Amsoil, Mobil1 4T tried all because I just wanted to see for myself. Tried this in 20W-50 (Texas summer) and I will not be going back. Shifts smoother, runs quieter, less vibration, just a better feel overall compared to any other oils I have tried.
Great service, knowledgeable staff!!!!!!!!
I use Motul 7100 in all of my bikes. I have been a racer/rider and mechanic for 20 years. Best oil I have ever used.
Awesome
Used this for the first seasonal oil change in 2015. The previous owner of my bike hasn't changed the oil for the last 7000 kms before I bought it, and you could hear a bit of cylinder noise while it was running. Changed the oil to this, all noise is gone and you can hear the engine run smoothly and evenly. I had worries about changing from OEM oil to another brand due to viscosity and lubrication, but this one is the ticket. Highly recommend it.
Oily oil.
Great oil. Liquid, free flowing, lubricative. Did not escape from bottle when left alone. No bad attitude. Would buy again.
Smooth gear oil
I used this oil on my 12k service on my 2016 BMW R1200GSA. Engine seems to smoother while operating. Gear shifting is more responsive. Engine sounds lots better than OEM. Bought all my parts here and took it BMW dealer for my service. Great product would recommend to motorcyclist who cares about the thier ride.
From OEM oil to Motul 7100
I switched from the standard OEM oil to Motul 7100 on my Kawasaki Ninja 650 and there was a noticeable improvement on the clutch smoothness. The engine also appears to be running a cooler though I can't ascertain for certain (didn't use a precise temperature gauge before and after so it's purely subjective).

Definitely not cheap but the improvements are worth it for me.
oil not all the same
being a mechanic i was amazed at difference between suzuki synthetic and motul synthetic motul makes engine run quiter and shift better second bike I've had running this oil and it was the same on the other worth the money!
It is oil.... The best for my application
Motul oil is a premier oil manufacturer offering the latest product technology for motorcycle and automobile applications. Synthetic oils are proven to exceed the standards for mineral oils; despite all oil being produced from a base stock of good old crude! Motul 7100 4T Synthetic motor oil is superior to the other brands previously used in my own motorcycles and automobile applications.
Best Oil on the market
Smells so good you just might want to drink this
Quality oil
Seems like quality oil. Engine hasn't blown up yet.
Best stuff around!
Best stuff around! Used Mobil 1 for years, Motul is much smoother.
The best scented oil on the market!
Not sure if that "Motul smell" is on purpose or just because of their proprietary tech. Nor am I going to pretend I can feel the difference or anything, I am no engineer or pro racer. However, Motul has a fantastic reputation for a reason, and this is their "good stuff", you really can't go wrong. I run it in my '21 XSR700.
Beyond Excellent
first of all I must say that Motul really knows what they are doing. This is by far the best oil a amongst its competitors. Changed my oil on my 05 R6. The gears shift like butter. Engine runs extremely smooth. Smooth shifting. Previously I used Yamalube full synthetic 15w50. I will be using Motul from now on. Great product. Worth the money. Highly recommend this oil.
Motul 7100, 20W-50 is Amazing in a 2015 Indian!
I replaced the 2015 Indian recommended semi-synthetic 20W-40 oil with what I've known to perform flawlessly for many years in my Yamaha 113 CI Roadliner.

The instant results were a smooth engagement of 1st gear without the hard "bang"; and afterwards, far more smoothness between gears 2 through 6

Just do this!
THE engine oil for Indian 111s
Dealer performed 10K service on my 2017 Indian Roadmaster, which included engine oil and filter change. I provided Motul oil vs Indian brand oil. Since servicing, have noticed significantly smoother/less clunky gear shifting, engine smoothness improvement across all rpms, and no more head chatter at 70+ mph as before when engine fully warmed. Can't wait to put miles on to see it holds up over the long haul.
Best Oil
This oil is superior in all respects to mineral oils, and being ester based it is not corrosive. When I changed to this after break-in my mileage went up and the bike runs about 10 degrees cooler. My 650EN motor loves this stuff, it's worth every penny. Be sure to get a KN filter when you move to this oil, and you can rest comfortable knowing your engine protection is top notch!
loved this oil i will purchase again
Love that it makes mybike run cooler
2014 Yamaha R1 Oil Change
This oil came highly recommended. It may be a placebo effect but I feel the shifts are smoother and engine as well.
Smoothness
This oil is awesome being using this since my first oil change nothing to complain about, compare to yamalub is like day and night
good results
Happy thus far.3000 miles and still good shift feel

PROS: Color Changes At End Of L, Red Color Indication For

CONS: none

Would recommend
Had last few oil changes done at the dealer on my 2018 Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak. Did this last oil change at home with this Motul 7100 and it was very impressive how it smoothed things out. Clutch engagement is smoother, gear changes smoother and more solid and motor just seems to like it better!
It?s Red, and It Smells Great
Swapped to this after using non-synthetic for my first couple of oil changes on a new bike. The difference was immediately noticeable. Fully recommended 7100 before switching to 300V. Most will say this is better for "normal" street use. Can't go wrong with either. One is red, one is green, both smell fantastic.
Smooth shifting
My Suzuki SFV650 used to do the weird thing where it doesn't shift from neutral into first unless you roll it forward and stomp the shifter. Just put this oil in and it goes right into first every time. Now I can let my clutch fingers rest at long red lights without worrying about holding up traffic trying to get in gear once the light changes. Highly recommended
Motul in my Goldwing
I use this in my Goldwing. It maybe my imagination, but it seems to have quieted the valve train noise. Also shifts a little better. I don't think I'll go to anything else. I'm a believer.
Best oil hands down
Best oil on the market. Smother shifting and bike runs cooler.
Gotta love Motul
I love putting new oil in my bike. The only thing that would make this oil better is if it were lime green.
Best
The only brand I use for my bikes.. good weight , goes in red, easy to spot discoloration when changing. Love it
Great replacement for Repsol
Put it in a 04 ZRX 1200 to replace the hard to find Repsol smooth shifting quiet top end. Tried Lucas oil before this 25 miles on that oil and dumped for the Motul. I wouldn't put the Lucas in my lawn mower. Bottom line great oil if you think it's price is go back to driving a car.
best oil for the price!
Have been using this brand oil for years and have found it to be the best synthetic motor oil you can get for its price! Not much else to it, it works great.
Super good stuff!!
Used this oil on my 13 Ducati monsters. So far so good, seems to be running smooth and shifting nice. Oil still looks new in the sight glass after 1500 miles. Defiantly will continue using this oil.
Best oil for my 2021 Ninja 400
If you want to put the best oil in your motorcycle, this is it! Yes, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. I wanted to put the best oil in my bike that I could so that's what I did!
I use this oil exclusively.
Just what I needed for my BMW S-1000 XR
It's Motul 7100 . Self explanatory ??
It's Motul 7100 4 T synthetic oil . Exactly what my Ninja 400 needs . ??
A must for my 21 MT09
It's red.. ??Vampires beware. This is oil not blood. I must say, this oil is absolutely the smoothest and slickest performance oil I've ever experienced, and the smell? smells like strawberry banana smoothie!!!
Slimy green magic!
Motul 7100 is a Class 5, full Esther Synthetic base oil. Science class has taught me that in the lubrication universe, this base oil is the best.

I have been using Motul 7100 for twenty years and have never had any issues.

As a bonus, they sponsor the "High Side, Low Side" podcast, and that's enough reason right there to put Motul in my sump.

And green is my favorite color.

Enjoy the ride.
Best motorcycle oil on the market hands down! I would recommend this oil to anyone looking for a cooler running, smoother shifting motorcycle. I also use this in a fully restored 79 Honda CB750 that would always run too hot in traffic. Once I started running this oil the bike does not run hot and I seriously feel it freed up a few horsepower due to less friction (no exaggeration) literally feels like a different engine was bolted in the thing.
Changing of the oil
I always have used Rotella on my bikes, but wanted to try something different and I was amazed. I wasnt expecting much difference thinking oil is oil and the price was something that turned me away, but I was proven wrong. This was like night and day, shifting was super smooth and effortless, the bike ran quieter. This will now be my goto for my cbr. Definitely would recommend. Still pricey but its worth it.
Top notch oil
Awesome Oil, you can tell the Quality of Motul is just different!
One of the Top 5 Motorcycle oils on the Market
You will never go wrong using Motul Full Synthetic Oil on your motorcycle, whether is for your daily commuter or track for applications. These oils outperform basic manufacturer requirements. Highly recommended!!!
Make your shifts smoother
I use this oil in all my bikes.Really can tell difference in smoothness of the shifting gears.
I have not used this product yet.
I ordered this product approximately 1000 miles before the next service is due on my Guzzi. I am still 450 miles away from using it.

PROS: Got here in six days

CONS: None yet

Motul, enough said!
What can I say, it's Motul. They make great products. I don't use anything else. CG has it at a great price. Thanks guys.
Great oil for Triumph Bonneville Bobber
The Motul 7100 10W-50 is a great OEM+ oil for the Triumph Bonneville Bobber. The red color is easy to see in the sight glass and it seems to be as good or better than the factory recommended Castrol POWER1 for about the same price.
Works great
Love everything about it, except opening it. It's definitely one way of developing a bottle opening.
good oil!
just did my 600 mile oil change on my new Z-125, and after reading reviews, maybe it"s the power of suggestion, but i swear the bike shifts smother now!
Great! All always use t.
Tried this oil for the first time, and I was very impressed.
Definitely made my engine quieter, and my wet clutch seemed to be smoother too.
Quick
Great product and excellent customer
Tenere clutch problems
So far so good
Feel trans shifting better
1L pack is good, so only have to buy 2 bottles,, rather than quart sizes of other brands.
This 7100 15-50 is great !
My first Ducati ran way smoother and best of all it shifted much smoother then the oem oil. Found my oil and with a k&n oil filter. Win win ! Thanks !
This 7100 is great ! But Ducati ran way smoother and best of all it shifted much smoother then the oem oil. Found my oil and with a k&n oil filter. Win win ! Thanks !
I love the service
The best oil for 4-stroke scooters. I recommend always buying through this source since they sell 100% original oil. They also offer first-class customer service.
Reluctantly purchased online.
Glad to be able to have this shipped to the house. Too bad it can't be purchased off the shelf at my local store.
Best oil you can buy
Best oil for your street bike. The oil I ever ran in my 09 R1 and the only oil I will ever use again. Would run 300v for track days and 7100 for the street
Great oil
Engine runs smother, better than Motorex. Definitely worth to try
Just put it into the bike. Works well so far.
super oil
this is my go to oil, bike runs great on it
Great synthetic oil
Nice red synthetic oil. It has no odor and seems to be working well in my motorcycle. Shifts are smoother and engine seems to running a quieter.
I like
Very excellent oil, engine purrs
Very Good
For me the best oil for motorcycles!!! 10W40
I used for Kawasaki Z900
Best oil for any bike.
I had multiple different bike, so far this the only oil I ever use. Never had any issues.
My brother is very pleased with the oil.
good oil. lubes well. its oil
great oil. my bike loves it and runs well on it.
2009 DRZ400 SM
Used this in my first bike and after further research on Motul's website I realized it fits the exact specifications needed for my 2009 DRZ400SM. Fairly certain it's what the previous owner used. No issues at all. From my very limited experience, the clutch feels great and engine runs smoooooth.
It's the spec oil KTM requires. Price is reasonable compared to competitors
great
Motorcycle Oil
I heard a lot of riders tellimg me I must buy this, so I did. Will use later
Excellent
I use it in my motoguzzi v7 iii Stone
MedEd
Top notch European motor oil.
Smooth...
Smooth performance nothing to call out
Pleased FJR rider
Sweet stuff! Bike shifts more smoothly, especially from first to second. Worth the little extra money. Convenient attached spout made pouring easy. Already bought a second jug for next change.
Good oil
So far so good just installed a drain plug with a magnet so we will see how well this stuff works.
Yamaha FJ-09
After my Dealer recommended first two oil changes with mineral oil it was time to move to synthetics.
I researched a lot and Motul seems to be one of the best so I gave it a try.
It will probably turn out fine over time but one thing I can say and I was hesitant to believe at first,
Comments about smoother gear shifting are definitely true. My Yamaha always changed gears fine but now they are noticeably smoother and that is a sweet thing.
Pretty good
Unfortunately couldn't get a 4 liter container, but the rest worked great. Put it in my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, couple hundred miles later and it's running great!
Great oil
As good as Motorex oil and sometimes easier to find!
Great Stuff
Love the cap how easy it is to fill tight spaces.
the bike runs well on this. It is a very good oil with fast shipping and fair pricing.
Only run Motul in my bikes
This oil is the only spec. 10W-50 for the 2019+ Royal Enfield 650 Twins. Its a beautiful raspberry color and even makes the tranny shift smoother. Buy It!
Great oil. Looks like cherry syrup and smells like fruit. Somehow managed to reduce mechanical/valvetrain noise in my already quiet 2018 Z900 RS. Pair it with a K&N oil filter and you'll be good to go for thousands of miles.
Best oil for my car.
Motorcycle oil in a car? Yes I am that crazy.
5 Stars
service in providing parts was first rate
A few friends use it & are quite happy with it. I'm sure I will too
