This seat looks great on my Heritage Softail. Matches the studded saddle bags and is very well made. Installation took just a minute and it was ready to go. Glad I made the choice of going with this Mustang seat.
Immediately felt the lower back support
very well made seat like the steel base -better than orignal heritage seat had to put slight down pressure on the back of seat to get bolt in but it worked ok.

This seat was for my 1989 FXSTS and overall fit was good. The front tab fit properly / tightly into the frame bracket and the 6 rubber bumper pads that are riveted to the seat contacted the frame & fender properly. The rear tab had a 1/2 inch gap between it & the fender, which I shimmed with teflon washers from True Valve Hardware along with a longer screw / bolt. After install, I had no side-to-side movement of the seat on my HD. It looks great & is comfortable too, it's worth the $.
