Just received my Mustang seat, the quality is indisputable. The seat is very sturdy, every stitch is well place. I do have to confess that I was taken aback by the gap left between the tank and seat (frame exposed). It's comfortable, don't think it's a long ride kind of seat for a passenger but it's a good overall buy.
Looks very good on the bike, flows well the the lines. Improved comfort over stock seat for the driver, very narrow for passenger. The wife yelled 15 min into our first ride with the new seat. If you're looking for a 2up, this is not it.
The original Iron 883 seat was a bit uncomfortable to me after short rides. I purchased the Mustang Tripper Fastback seat after reading a few reviews. I purchased it because I liked the looks as well as the reviews. After putting a few hundred miles on it solo, I must say it was an excellent decision! It moved me back on the bike maybe an inch or so, which fit right with the new forward controls. I can ride for hours on a weekend with no discomfort at all now! The shape of the seat just seems to flow with my 883, and the quality is just as well. I have no plans for any passengers, but i wanted a place to be able to bungee a jacket or such, so the 2 up part of the seat will serve that purpose for me. Overall, I love my new Mustang Fastback Tripper seat!!
I purchased this seat so that my girlfriend could ride with me. It looks excellent but isnt the most comfortable for her. Its fine for a short ride, though, and looks very sleek and fitting.

Item was delivered promptly. Accurately described. This seat is low profile, sits you lower and further back, firm but not uncomfortable. Good quality. Gap between seat and tank minimal on 4.5 gal Sportster. Exactly what I expected.
