Much better than stock.
the seat came packaged very nice(lots of bubble wrap in the box) and made it to me safely. It fit perfect on the bike, my only problem with the install was my factory luggage rack with the sissy bar. the back of the passenger pad is right up against the mounting bolts for the sissy bar. it will all fit on there just takes an extra hand when putting the luggage rack back on to you can get the pad pulled out of the way.<br /><br />Once the seat was on I took a test ride, the riding position was much more comfortable for me, it feels like you sit a bit further back and more upright. the height of the passenger pad almost creates a small backrest for the driver. Now the seat if quite firm and from what I have read about mustang seats, this is something that will be broken in and is just a matter of putting miles in.<br /><br />Overall i am excited to have a better seat than stock and cant wait till it is fully broken in. I would definitely recommend this seat for anyone looking for a more supportive ride on the Street series.
Very nice seat
I purchased this seat to be more comfortable on longer rides. The stock seat had me sitting to close the the fuel tank but the Mustang seems to have pushed me back a couple of inches and allows me to sit a bit more upright.<br />I did have a little bit of a problem putting the luggage rack and sissy bar back on but with an extra hand to move the pad it went back on.<br /><br />I really like the seat and it is a lot more comfortable than the stock one.

Good Replacement for the Stock seat on a HD Street
I purchased this to replace the stock seat on my HD Street 750. The stock seat was just not working for me. It was putting pressure on my tailbone and it was unbearable after about 45 minutes. This seat resolves that issue, looks pretty good and has a much better space for a pillion. I haven't been on any all day rides yet but rode several hours last week end with 2 stops and it was great. The seat did feel a little hard at first but seems to have broken in nicely.
Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Probably.
Imagine a 2x4, and you're sitting on it "the long way", straddling it like a horse, and your commute is an hour or so, laesplitting included.<br /><br />Now turn that 2x4 sideways, and sit on it like a swing. MUCH BETTER. <br /><br />$341.00 better? Eeeehhhh.... sure. I hated both the stock and Cafe Solo seats I had on my Street 500. One wrong 'shift' and I'd be sitting on my nuts. This seat has helped tremendously.<br /><br />...that said, it's still pretty stiff. I hope it breaks in, but even being stiff as a board, at least by turning that board 90 degrees it has made a huge difference. <br /><br />I see zero reason to go with the seat back option, as I'm leaning forward a bit to grab aftermarket 'straight' handlebars in my case. The seat also feels very high quality to the touch, but on my butt it's a bit stiff.<br /><br />5'10" / 205 lbs<br /><br />7 out of 10, would buy again... the stock seat is just that bad.
My 1 hour commute just got completely redefined.
The stock seat gets painful after just 25 minutes, after an hour in rush-hour traffic, it's downright unbearable! But this seat has changed everything. HD ought to just put this as stock on the Street. My only criticism is that the passenger seat could benefit from being a bit wider too but I've never had a passenger ride with me long enough to verify that it needs any modifications. All my passengers have only been on it for less than 10 miles, I ride 26 miles one way/ 52 miles round trip everyday and it's just so worth the money. I Wish it was a little more affordable, but I'm still very happy with it.<br /><br />One thing to note about this seat is that the sissy bar/luggage rack I have barely squeezes in behind this seat and you kind have to push the back stuffing of the seat forward a bit as you reattach the sissy bar/rack. Hopefully it doesn't rub on the seat and cause premature wear/damage to the seat but damn, does it look nice and feel nice!
(somewhat) Better than the stock seat
I have to echo ixobelle's review. I just got this seat, and put 180 miles on it in a day.<br /><br />Better than stock? Yes. The stock seat just flat-out hurt after about an hour; I did three hours today with no actual pain, so yes it's better.<br /><br />But it isn't perfect. It definitely pushes you significantly forward on the bike. I used to sit back pretty far on the stock seat, I feel like the Mustang has pushed me way forward, like 3" or 4" forward towards the tank. I'm not a tall guy but if you were 6 foot tall or more, I'd think you'd be pretty cramped on this seat.<br /><br />The seat is a lot wider than stock, so there's more room for your rump. It feels like it's probably about as firm as the stock seat, but you're spreading your weight around more surface area so there's less pressure per square inch, and therefore it hurts less. I wouldn't call it overly comfortable, just - better than stock. "Good enough" but nobody would describe it as "plush".<br /><br />The passenger section looks way better than stock -- it's much taller, thicker, wider, and - yes, plusher. And that's why I bought this seat -- my wife said she wants to go riding with me, so I wanted her to have a better experience than the stock seat has. And for that alone, it's probably worth it. <br /><br />The seat seems to sit higher, and it's wider in the front, so if you have short legs you may have trouble flat-footing at a stop. I used to easily be able to flat-foot and even stand a little off the seat on the stock, but with this wide taller seat I can't get both feet securely flat on the ground anymore.<br /><br />I used to move around more on the stock seat, but the shaped back portion locks you into one position. I don't know that I prefer that.<br /><br />As for aesthetics, I think it looks great. I wasn't sold on the looks from looking at the pictures online, but when you see it in person, I think it looks nice and makes the bike look way better than stock.<br /><br />So, overall -- it's an upgrade from stock, definitely. Is it seat nirvana? Not by a mile. I wish the sculpted back of it was 3" or 4" further back, giving the driver more room. For $350 you'd think you should be getting the one seat to rule them all, but it kind of isn't. It's definitely better than the stock seat, that's for sure. But I don't know that I'd want to do a 500-mile day on this, and I wish it didn't make me feel more cramped on the bike. It does seem like it'll be a big upgrade for the passenger, and for that reason alone I'm keeping it and not sending it back. But for a solo rider, I'm not entirely sure it's worth $350.

I ordered this seat from France.<br />It was delivered on time, nothing wrong to say about that.<br />On the other hand, I needed to pay 102Euros custom dues!<br />I thought to make a great deal and not to order it in Europe directly. <br />Pitty they didn't mention it (Or I never saw it written I need to pay custom dues on the seat).<br />Still a good seat. It gives a very nice look at my Street.<br />Last weekend I drove more than 600km on mountain pass and I must say, no pain or what ever. The seat is a little bit harder as the stock one but it is larger what makes the sit position better. <br />I truly recommend this seat to others!<br />Best regards,<br />D.Delante from France.

Perfect Seat!
The seat came nicely packed. Fixing was easy. Looks better than stock seat and give the bike a new authentic look. Seating position is quiet comfortable and has a depth to it. Worth every penny.
What A Difference!
This seat not only is way more comfortable than the stock seat but also adds a different look to the bike. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has a Harley XG model.

I took my Harley Street 750 with the stock seat on a 135 mile journey (one way). Needless to say, I was miserable only 65 miles in, and then the ride back :( So I decided to spend the money and get this seat! <br /><br />I get uncomfortable quickly! 25 miles in, I can start squirming! This seat solved my comfort and leg fatigue problems! It is worth the money. It moved my position forward an inch or two, but after a few miles I got use to it. It also makes the bike look 10 times better! I love my Mustang seat! If you're on the bubble about getting one, pop that bubble and upgrade today! Your bottom will be glad that you did!
Extremely comfortable,The seat can slightly wobble if not installed tight enough. After riding on it for a good amount of time, the lower seat position, feels way easier for leaning.
Great seat
The seat is way more comfortable than the stock one I had and on top of that it feels like your more attached to the bike. If you gas it hard your not sliding around like on the stock seat. The mustang seat also moved me back a little from the gas tank making it more comfortable for the boys. This is the only aftermarket seat I have purchased but glad I have.
Mustang Touring Seat for 16 Street 750
After taking my first long ride with the stick seat, I knew it was time for an upgrade. After looking at a couple of different options, I liked how much wider this seat was and that it came with a rider backrest. Just taking it for a small spin, I felt a huge difference. It is so much more comfortable and makes you feel one with the bike instead of being stuck on top of it. It sits me in a more comfortable and natural position and makes riding longer a bigger pleasure.
Beats the stock seat!
Stock seat would get me butt pain around 45 minutes into the ride, the Mustang Seat solves that problem and can ride for a long time before it ever gets uncomfortable. Write your review here. For the price, I was expecting something much more comfortable. Bought this to replace the absolutely horrible stock seat on my Street 500. It was definitely better than stock and my pillion said it was a million times better, but I was still suffering after around 45 minutes.
Best money I ever spent. Love, Love, Love my new seat. Makes riding a whole different experience. Comfortable, and less stress on my back, due to the back rest.

This was a huge improvement over the stock seat fersure ! This seat widens actually space for the rider and passenger and is easily broken in. For the amount i paid it was totally worth it .

Street - Touring Seat - Mustang
I bought this seat for my wife's HD Street 750. Big improvement in comfort over the stock seat. We are heading out west from Indy this summer, that will be the true test.
I have been wanting to purchase this seat for a long time and then finally i was able to. 2 days before the arrival of my luxury new seat i was pulled over by the long arm of the law. Next thing you know im being fined for my helmet and numberplate holder which in my opinion and a few other bike riders in this town is just hogwash. so now im waiting on my new helmet to arrive and then i shall put my seat on and take it for a testrun. its in my best interest to not put it on just yet cause too tempting to chuck on illegal helmet(apparently) and ride. ill be sure to update this review in the near future.
