I like to ride, but my back likes to lean against something, and this fits the bill. Easy to adjust to fit me. Ride on.

Just what I needed.

I bought a Yamaha Stratoliner, it came with a Mustang seat, but no backrest. Bought this and it slides right in, feels great. It folds over flat to make getting on the bike easier. It has a simple bolt adjustment to change the angle of the back rest. It is a little on the expensive side for what you get. The backrest is definitely a high quality piece that should last a long time. I feel like I'll be able to do long trips on the bike without my back getting wrecked.

Excellent. Had one on an earlier fat bob and rode from Darwin to Hobart and back twice, 4500 kms each way, 18000 klicks all up. Couldn’t beat the comfort.

Driver back rest for Mustang seat

The style and fit go very well with my seat. The only thing that I don’t like is that Harley Davidson has changed the installation into the slot. Part of the adjustment screw shows above the back seat. It looks like it has been installed incorrectly. I took it to a HD dealer to make sure I had installed correctly, and was told I the issue is that HD has made changes and it shows the screw. I’m not very impressed on how it fits onto the seat.

This backrest along with the Mustang low down seat for Harley Touring is a comfortable fit. Haven’t been on any trips over a couple hours since installing, but with the added back support, it feels great. Easily adjustable to get it just right. Seat alone is a big comfort upgrade from OEM, and the backrest just noticeably adds to the positive difference. Pricey, but comfort & quality makes it worth it.

Great buy for lower back support

Total game changer for riding solo or even with a passenger. Riding solo feels like someone is sitting behind you for support. My wife did not even notice the back support was on. I have the mustang wide tripper solo w/passenger pad. Highly recommended for a different style than everyone else.

I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase of the Mustang removable back rest. My riding style includes both long distance riding from NC to Sturigs and Daytona as well as weekend and daily rides for commuting and pleasure. The backrest is a great addition to the Mustang Super Touring seat on my Ultra Classic. I have no reservation in recommending you purchase the Mustang Removable backrest from JP if you own a Mustang seat. This backrest is ONLY suitable for a Mustang seat. The price was better than any other distributor I had found. I was even able to find an additional discount on the internet. Thanks JP.

Backrest is just the right height

I like it. I’ve never had a backrest before, it is comfortable to lean on, it reminds you it’s there every time I start off from a stop sign or traffic light. It’s good on a long trip to lean back on when necessary. I’m still learning the best position for me. I like the idea it folds down for easier on off.

Also the padded backrest matches the seat perfectly. It’s very easy to get on and off the bike. The pad can be laid forward before you get on or off the bike.

This is the only backrest that I like. I'm custom making a backrest for my Triumph Rocket 3 because nobody makes a removable backrest for a Rocket unless it's part of the seat.

this back rest is worth its weight in gold.I can ride on extended rides with no back discomfort.I am 68 and and ride in comfort.

WOW!!! made a huge difference in the comfort of riding with the lowdown seat...what a huge difference! If you don't have a backrest I highly recomend gettin ne!
