This seat fits the lines of the bike and does not look like an overstuffed mushroom. Very comfortable and the lip in the back holds your bum in a nice cradle ;). Great for long rides and narrow enough to easily keep your feet on the ground. It does slightly push you forward, but your crotch will not be eating the tank.
New Seat
Just the seat that I wanted. Sets me back about 1" to 1.5". The back rest is a game changer. I all so got the fender bib to compilment the seat.

I bought this seat as I love a nice solo seat. Its well built, nice material BUT it pushes me too far forwards. My butt wants to sit on the little lip on the back of it. Ive put about 200 miles on it, hoping I would fall in love with it but I just cant get comfortable! Im about 6"1', 32' inseam. I wish it would sit back about 2 inches, and It would get 5 stars across the board.

this is my second solo seat.i did get the Extra Wide style.i found that the regular fit solo was a little tight on me.im 5 9" 190lbs.my bike is a 2019 flhx.it moves me back about 1inch.and overall more room.the back upper side is very supportive.if your on stock now,you wont believe the difference. RIDE FAST DIE HARD.

Great seat with the comfort I was hoping for. No, it’s not “stock seat” comfort. I already did 4/5 hrs in the saddle and no complaints. Looks great on my bike. Completes my convertible look on my 14 FLHTSE. Be sure to have your hardware correct and wires cleaned up. In my opinion, this seat will NOT go on right out of the box.

Was easy to install on my 2020 Electra Glide Standard. I have ridden 625 miles since installing it and I can say wow what an improvement from the stock seat. My hips do not get sore nor does my butt!!!

Got this to replace the 20+ year old seat on my 2001 Roadking.<br />Easy installation. <br />Obviously better than the sad old seat. Back of the Mustang already is better control feeling with the sort of vertical back end.<br />The back rest is an almost unreal improvement (over none). The fore-aft back rest adjustment screw seemed very loose in the threads, but a few drops of blue lock-tite fixed that.<br />I’m 63, 6’ and 250 lbs with a few bad lower back discs.<br />I am looking forward to some longer rides again now.<br />And “made in America” is also nice.

I put this seat on a week before a 2,500 mile trip, but I was only able to get about 40 miles on it before I left. It settled in about the 40 miles mark. Put 3k miles on it in 6 days. Very comfortable! No regrets on the purchase of this seat and backrest

Best seat i have owned. I am "5"7 and ordered the low down. It was way to close to the tank so i exchanged it for this and boy am i glad. It allows me to touch the ground better becouse its thinner in the thigh area. It does seem to sit me a little higher on the bike though but can still touch the ground comfortably. I dont have an after market suspension yet but after putting this seat on its not as big of a need. Very comfy very nice seat
My two-up stock seat on my 2018 Street Glide was very uncomfortable for me. I purchased the super touring solo seat which I love. But when the wife wanted to go riding, I switched back to the two-up and go back to being uncomfortable. I decide to get the Mustang passenger seat. I'm happy and the missus is also very comfortable. I highly recommend this passenger seat.
Love my new Mustang seat and backrest. It's more narrow at the tank than my stock seat, so my feet reach the ground better. It's comfortable too.

I wanted to wait for a bit before I reviewed this seat. I bought this seat as soon as I bought my new bike three weeks ago. Since I have installed it I have installed the seat I have put over 3k miles on it. One day I did a 498 mile ride and my butt didn’t get as sore as it normally would. The next day I wasn’t sore at all. I like this seat a lot so far.
Excellent seat well worth the money. It took about 200 miles before it really felt right. Definitely top of the line in solo’s. You won’t be disappointed.
My stock Road King seat was at best a 50 mile seat, after that I had to stop riding for a while because if the pain. I rode 200 miles to and back from an appointment at a VA Hospital last Friday on my new Mustang seat. I was very impressed and in absolutely no pain. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has problems staying in the saddle because of comfort or pain.

Seat changed my life. Added a ton of confidence to my riding from the backrest, and going from the bulky stock two-up seat to this improved the looks quite a bit. My only two cons are that the back rest wiggles around a little in the receiver, and the material grabs my pants so adjusting my position in the seat can sometimes lead to bunched up pants.

This seat lifted me up about two inches, and moved me forward about 1.5 to 2 inches, extremely uncomfortable if you know what I mean...I ride an Electra Glide Standard....

Great seat. Very comfy, seems a bit hard at first, but that firmness keeps me comfy for hours because of its support. High quality Seat. Puts me about 1" higher. And moves me back about 1". I'm 6'1" tall, and now im not so cramped in the cockpit. The backrest adjusts for comfort very well. Itll cost ya, but worth it. 2020 Electra Glide Standard. Fit is perfect.
The seat itself is good but the backrest is very loose it will not stay in the lowest two settings,the seat pushes it back up. I'm a little disappointed because I know how good the quality of the Mustang seats are.But in this seat very cheap.

Hated the original seat on my Road King Classic. Went with the solo Mustang seat and just love it. It sits me farther back and gives me more leg room. Great service and fast delivery, A great choice for larger, taller riders.
I was looking for a more comfortable seat for long rides and this seat definitely is. It seats me up a little higher than my low profile seat but that was to be expected. I do wish Mustang would make seats with women riders in mind, making them a little more narrow in the front. Overall, a great seat for comfort!

Good quality seat, sits you closer to the ground on 2012 Road King but moves you a little forward as well, which is okay, I just lean back a little. Make sure the 13 inch wide seat is what you want. I probably would have went with the 15 inch wide, but luckily my 60 yr old butt hadn't spread out that much so it still works for me.
Great fit and style for my Road King.<br />It made the bike have a whole new attitude. It definitely sits you higher and back. But a lot more comfortable than the stock seat.

I didn't give the seat 5 stars, because it's a little uncomfortable for me. I think that it's at least partially due to my feet on the floorboard keeping the back of my long legs from touching the seat. This puts all the pressure on my tailbone. The extended reach did help with a little extra leg room. Overall, I think it's a well made seat & would probably be more comfortable if my legs were slightly shorter.
Great seat but it is wider than the one I had, so if height is an issue it will not work well for a shorter person.
This seat looks and feels great. It fits great on my 2006 Road King. I should have purchased the set instead of the solo seat. The back rest save my...especially since I'm 6'4"

This the forth bike I have added this same Mustang seat too, The seat drops you down a little in the saddle and moved you a little closer to the tank. I love the quality of the seat, and it even came with a fender bib and seat nuts to attached the passenger seat.

I was happy with seat until I installed it on my motorcycle and rode on it. It was comfortable but moved the riding position .too far back for my short arms, Now that I installed it on my bike your policy does not allow me to return it. I guess there is no satisfaction guarantee from your business.I am not pleased with that.

Purchased this seat so I wouldn't have to put my full seat back on to take my son to Laughlin with me. It goes on real easy and my son said it was real comfy. His buns didn't hurt like they would with my old seat. Shipped in just a few days at my house. Real happy with my purchase.

Fit is perfect, lowered me slightly and the narrower seat front makes both feet touch ground. It's a little firm, but should soften up with a few rides. Back rest is easily adjustable, even while riding. Really nice upgrade from stck seat!
Shipping was really fast, not like some places that ship on a tuna clipper around the horn.<br />Really didn't know what to expect and it was a little harder than I like but it really looks good on my RK and it really looks even better with me on it.<br />I'm 6'2" and the extra 1.25" back you wouldn't think would make that much of a diff, but it really does and now I can use my forward pegs without feeling like the fetal position. The quality is second to none and there is no comparison when you set it beside the OEM 50 mile seat. This seat looks better, rides better and is made better and nope, not cheap, get what you pay for.<br />You won't like it, you'll love it.
To me this seat was very hard. It doesn’t seem wide enough and even though it doesn’t say it does,it moved me back from my bars about 2 inches. I could not touch the ground easier but harder than with my stock seat. It’s well made and looks good but it really lacks comfort.
Wanted a solo seat for my Road King, talked with a fellow club member recommended Mustang, best choice I ever made. Rode on it for over 100 miles first day, very comfortable, no sore butt, a lot better than stock.
Replaced the stock seat before the wife got on the abysmal seat that is on the stock Road Glide Special. We took a 500 mile ride the week after the seat was installed. She got cold and bored after the sun went down but her backside was not one of her complaints. Seat looks great, is comfortable, and instal looks like what the factory should have put on the bike to begin with. Highly recommend.
Replaced the OEM seat at less than 1000 miles. It was abysmal. I had intended to order the Wide Solo seat but after shopping for days clicked the second choice. choice instead of my first. When it arrived I realized my mistake bsut was going to be riding 800 miles over the next three days and wasn't going to do it on the brick the factory installed. <br /><br />I have to say I am not sorry I bought the seat. It was a vast improvement over the stock seat and made long miles much more pleasant. I hear a lot of people talking about having to break in their Mustang seats. I found it to be comfortable from the beginning. <br /><br />While I wanted the 1.25 back, I found that once I switched my bars to get them out of my chest I didn't need the movement. <br /><br />Highly recommend this seat.
Actually looks good (for a wide p pad) on my road king, along with my 15" wide solo, follows the lines of the bike nicely, and much more comfortable than the 11" wide pad(according to my back seater). Have ridden on mustang seats for 18 years, love em.
The backrest doesn't adjust far enough forward to give me the support I need. I am 5'5'' and if it would just move 1 inch closer to me it would have been perfect. All it needs is a longer screw. But I didn't pay almost $500 for a seat and backrest to have to go out and buy other parts to make it a perfect fit.

Awesome seat. I'm 6' 1" 260 lbs and this seat is perfect, the 1.25 inch set back makes a huge difference. Looks really good on my 2016 StreetGlide. This is the 1000 mile seat I've been looking for.
I am 6'1" 240, and bought this to replace the stock seat on a 2016 sportster 48. I've ridden with this seat for about 10 hours now. I thought the stock seat was OK, but this seat is a whole nother world of comfort and support. Construction makes the stock seat look like junk (sorry HD). A worthwhile upgrade
Best seat I have sat on. I put this on my '16 FLHR. It does set you back about the advertised 1 1/4", but to my surprise, it set me up about the same 1 1/4". Which with my long legs, was very comfortable. The extra 1/2" in width (over stock) also made for a better ride. Now I get on for a ride and I really don't want to stop.
I put the seat on my 2014 ROADKING . You sit about 1&1/2"higher. I'm 5'10"tall and my feet are still flat on the ground.I just rode 1800 miles . Very comfortable. Like my other Mustang seats , this one is well made and looks great on the bike.
Doesn't attach or clip to matching drivers seat. You would expect them to somehow fasten together. Front of rear pad moves around.

Was hoping it would be softer when first got it. However, I used my fists and a bat to work,on it and it softened up a bit. I feel now that's it's the perfect feel and I love it. The back rest is awesome and the seat is big enough to have great coverage for you butt. Glad I didn't overreact to not being soft enough when I first got it!

Installed on 2007 Road King. It did sit a little taller, was a little wider at the nose than the stock seat and pretty flat. More comfortable than stock but took it to a custom seat shop in Denver and had it dished out and narrowed. Went from good seat to great seat.
Easy to install and accurately described in the catalog. Love the feel and excellant fit. Looks good on the bike, nice and snug and after about 600 miles, still loving it!!

Seat is very comfortable. I received it a week before we left for sturgis and i rode 2815 miles on it with my wife on her mustang passenger seat and it felt great. My butt never hurt once. Mustang make a great product would recommend to anyone.
Love this seat,The narrower one put me a little too far foward and up. This wider seat puts me up a little but it's worth the comfort. It's my 3000 mile seat. I,m 5.11,170Lbs. and a 32-34 inseam.

I've had this seat long enough now to be able to honestly state it's every bit a good as Mustang claim. It does change your riding position so you need to give it a couple of weeks adjust.

I have an older Mustang solo seat, but wanted to be able to reach my highway/engine guard bars without locking out my knees....so I ordered this seat....mission accomplished....HOWEVER, Mustang blew it by making this seat so thick that now my feet are a little bit tippy-toed and I no longer have the ground clearance that my other Mustang solo seat has.....so this was rather dissapointing....I can't figure out why they would make a seat for us "shorter leg" people that would accomplish one task but create a problem for another....so for that reason I'm giving this a three star rating...if you are short legged and want a seat that is right for both extension AND being able to touch the ground without tippy-toeing, then think twice about this seat................

A great looking seat; yes, you do sit back about an inch or two more but adjusting your bars makes it work. The forward portion of the seat is nicely padded but does not allow folks with short legs (me) to put their feet flat on the ground as I had hoped. The seat is firm but comfortable; I just wish I was able to flat-feet the ground by not having quite as much padding near the seat's front.
This is a, ride all day seat, much better then the stock seat. Only thing I would say to do is find a bike with a Mustang seat, and see how you like it.

I had trouble with my old seat. It was too short, and my back and butt would KILL me after just an hours ride. With my new Mustang seat, we can ride for hours and I still feel great!! Love it!!!!!!
