Great upgrade from factory!

A lot more cushion than factory seat. I'm a big guy at 6'1" 350, so I felt every bump with the factory seat. This seat absorbs a lot of those bumps and allows for a lot smoother ride. It does push you forward a little farther with the extra cushion. All in all, well worth the investment.

Excellent replacement for the OEM

Excellent option as replacement of my Indian Scout 2015 OEM seat. I’ve ride with the mustang seat for 3 months now and the pains that I had with the original seat are gone.
The Mustang seat leather shade is similar to the original one and the overall quality of the product is great.
With the OEM i was unable to ride more than 3 hours, with this new seat I've riding the whole day several times now.

it's a improvement over the stock seat. More comfortable for longer rides but it does feel like it pushes you a inch or two forward.

Soaf King comfortable!

Huge upgrade from stock! The stock seat is too soft and squishy giving very poor support which is painful to ride for extended periods of time. The seat pan is made of plastic and flexes so much while riding that you can feel the seat shift slightly from left to right. The stock seat's leather is also showing signs of wear from only 6 months of riding.

I love my new Mustang seat! It has improved my riding enjoyment tremendously. The seat's foam is firm and very supportive. It gives just enough to avoid painful pressure points. Other reviews say the seat moves them forward but mine does not. It does raise me up maybe an inch since the seat padding is thicker over stock. The seat pan is ridged making a solid and stable connection. That connection with my bike is a pleasant feeling I didn't realize I was missing.

The backrest is new to me and the only thing that could be better. I'm 5'10" and with the backrest midway high and adjusted completely forward I can barely make contact with it. When I set it as low as possible the lowest part of my back makes better contact with it and it does make riding more comfortable and relaxed but I may need something to wedge the backrest forward or get new handle bars with longer pullback to really benefit from the backrest.

I chose the black all vinyl option so it should have better durability over leather. I did have the chance to see the leather version with studs and I'd recommend the all vinyl option without studs. The studs weren't shiny and had an antique or used look about them. I wasn't impressed with the leather either.

The Mustang seat looks better in person, build quality is absolutely professional and it feels amazing going down the road. Get rid of the stock seat. Stock looks great but it's an awful seat. Mustang all the way!

Exactly what i needed at the right price

I'm a new rider, 6'2", 250#. I've had back problems in the past - ruptured discs - and the stock saddle on my Indian Scout was killing my back. This is my first bike, and i was afraid the low back pain i was getting after just 30 minutes of riding was going to cut my riding short before i had a chance to get good. This saddle seems to have completely solved the problem. Instead of having a 'mushy' and indefinite location for my butt, this feels firm, and gives me a well-defined location for my butt, and angle for my hips. The back rest is pretty minimal, but gives just enough support to keep me in a comfortable position.

I took my first ride with it today from north Georgia into Atlanta and back, with each leg taking about 1:15, and had no low back pain at all. I love it, and would highly recommend it.

Big upgrade in comfort

Got this seat for my Wife's 2016 Indian Scout: a big upgrade in comfort and support; she loves it. Plus, the thicker padding brings her about 2inches closer to the forward controls, which was a huge improvement in relaxed rider position (plus moved her thigh area further from the rear cylinder head, that was burning her leg). Multiple problems solved!

NOTE: for install, it is easy if you do not have the rack and Indian backrest accessories already added. If you do, then you will need to remove the Indian Backrest (prevents seat from latching in) and it still took three 1/4" washers to shim the mounting post up to allow both the rack frame mount and catch the seat latch.
