Very high quality with good comfort and support
2015 Dyna Fat Bob I have had several Mustang seats on various bikes. The stock Fat Bob seat is very good but the Mustang Wide Original is just more comfortable and offers good support while enhancing the overall look of the bike. It allows me to ride longer without discomfort. It is very easy to install but the one negative is that it is about two inches short where it meets the gas tank allowing a seam weld to be visible. Most people will never notice but it shows if you are looking close enough but the overall comfort and the way it actually makes the bike look larger than it is far out weighs this one visual miscue. I would recommend the Mustang Wide Original for the Dyna Fat Bob.

The factory seat on my 2015 Lowrider was not bad, but I find that this Mustang seat is way more comfortable for my wider than average butt. I'm 5' 10" and 230 lbs. I did not notice any difference in reaching any of the controls either. I am well pleased with this purchase.

Not at all worth the hype
I was hopeful but let down. I'm 5'10 and 220 pounds on a FXDF. Did not push me forward at all as others said it would. Instead just lost seat space for a much smaller seat area compared to stock. This made it very uncomfortable my weight is in the belly not a bigger butt. There is a gap to the tank which could have been used for more butt room. Passenger part was much better over stock. Driver worse. Would not recommend....

This seat is amazing. the stock seat was killing me on my 2008 Harley Dyna Lowrider. I bought this seat and I can sit on it for hours. With the old seat I had to get off after about an hour and my behind was on fire. With this seat I can sit on it for hours. Plus my behind doesn't hurt. It also looks so cool. get this seat. it will be the best money you ever spent. Trust me it's worth every penny.
So far fantastic, just did a 1000 mile trip from AZ to TX in 2 days, and the posterior didn't get sore or tired at all. Fits my 2015 fat bob like a glove and looks great with saddle bags, waiting for wife to give her review
This should have been one of the first investments I put on my bike. Both me and my wife wife notice the difference. I used to have to adjust a lot after ridding for an hour and I would have a sore back and be tired . I can now ride comfortably for hours and be ready to jump back on and keep going. Well worth the money.
Great seat for the money.
I ordered this seat to replace the old factory seat. I ordered it on a Sunday night and had it by Wednesday. The packaging was good enough. It took 2 minutes to take off the old seat and put the new mustang seat. My wife and I have put about 300 miles on it so far and we are very pleased. Well made, very durable and the comfort for us is top notch. If anything ever happened to this one I would by another without hesitation.
This seat is great. Had ordered the vintage Mustang seat from another company and there was not enough difference in comfort to warrant the price. This wide Mustang seat is terrific. My husband just rode the perimeter of VA and said on the last day he road 12 hours straight except for two short stops. He could not do that with the stock seat that came on his 2012 HD Dynaswitchback. The seat came quickly within 3 days and 2 hours before his ride. It was an easy installation and well worth the money.
This is the seat that I wish I had bought 4 seats ago. My bikes a cruiser so my seats were always lean and frame contouring, looked great at the price of no comfort. I will have to get use to bigger look of this touring seat, but man is it ever comfortable. For me it is as comfortable as my original solo seat but now my lady can ride in comfort as well.. great seat. Thank you!

Well worth the money, so much more comfortable than stock seat and the wife loves it. I definitely recommend this seat. Looks a little big on the bike but once you ride it you won't care.
Comfortable for 2-Up Riding
Bought this for my 2017 FXDB for riding with my wife. Tried the Squareback before but that sucked. This one is very wide, wife says it's very comfortable. I have a hard time with it because I'm 6'2" and still have mids on my bike. This seat brings you forward a lot and up a little, which cramps me up a bit. I only ride with it when she's on the bike, then switch to my solo seat. Big, clunky seat, but that's to be expected. Overall, it was a good purchase.
The seat does put me forward a bit, so less legroom, but it also forces me to sit up straighter which is better for my back. Smoother ride for the driver to some extent, much smoother and way more comfortable for the passenger which is primarily why I upgraded. Once I found the correct size torx socket wrench bolt (T40) to remove the old rider seat, installation went quick. I didn't need to remove the rubber pads from my fender. Thank you for an excellent product!

Nice looking seat. Fairly comfortable. My wife says it's a great improvement over the stock 2-up. She's fine on 2-3 hour rides. I have a Dyna Fat Bob and there is a 1-2 inch gap between the tank and the seat. It drives me crazy I like the seat but hate the gap. Also please know that the seat will sit you about an inch or 2 higher and a little forward. I'm 5'9" and it improved my riding position.

Ride a Harley Street Bob that is more like a small bagger now. This seat is a definite upgrade from the 2 up Harley seat I had. This will keep you in place when you twist the throttle. I did not notice any change in where I sat on my bike. Before I could only ride about an hour before my butt got numb and now I can at least ride over 2 hours.

Still pretty stiff after about a year. looks nice and fit the bike ok after some wiggling around with the tab that goes under the tank. Seems to be showing no signs of wear yet!

This is a great seat , fit my 16 Wide Glide perfectly. I would recommend this seat.
Was nervous about purchasing a new seat for my Low Rider motorcycle. Not too sure what would fit right with the back rest. Needed something wider with more support. After the last road trip my girlfriend was very uncomfortable and not too happy. We decided on the Mustang seat because of the reviews. Went on another trip and this seat is worth every penny. Comfortable for both driver and passenger, looks great, installed in seconds.

It didn't take long to figure out the factory HD seat was horrible at best. My butt was killing me after about a half hour and I had to stop every half hour after that because my legs would be getting numb. I got this Mustang seat and it is unbelievable the difference. Although I only have one day in this seat, I had absolutely no butt fatigue at all after around 175 miles. I will review again after I get a few trips in on it and get some passenger feedback. I would highly recommend this seat for a comfortable alternative for the junk factory seat.

Super seat, feels like a SOFA! did a 14 hour ride from Bangalore to Goa and the back was spared! Trust me, it may not be much on roads in western countries, but, on Indian road's, it's a great feat :)

So far so good. The seat feels very good, but only went on a short ride because of the weather. The seat makes me sit about 1 inch or so higher. Installation was ok I had to bend the rear attachment mount so that I could get it to mount with the bolt to the seat. The wife has just sat on the seat and likes it. She wants to go for a ride but we have snow outside.Looks good on my Dyna Wide Glide. Only problem I had was the rear mounting as explained above. So really I would give it a 4.5 rating.
Great seat, fits right, looks good and my wife will now ride with me. Hated to spend the money but it was a great investments. I like it also, confortable.

I purchased this seat for my 2013 Super Glide Custom Anniversary bike. It was a perfect fit and pretty comfortable for me but it was a huge improvement for the passenger. My wife is much happier on long road trips now. I have an HD detachable sissy bar. A word of caution, it was a tight fit between the side rails and they barely clear the passenger seat. The only other con was it did raise me up a bit but not enough to make a difference. I just slide forward a little and it's OK. Mustang makes a great product. Highly recommend.
