Im surprised theres only 2 reviews on this seat considering that its always sold out (every site i checked this seat is sold out and on back order). Thats how good this seat is. Im 6'0 190lbs and my butt would go numb after 1 hour of riding in the stock seat. Not anymore. I can go 2+ hours on this saddle with no fatigue or numbness at all. A few things to note is that you do sit a little higher than stock and you are moved forward a lil in this seat. All in all if your looking for a seat that will offer comfort and not to mention looks good as well than look no further.
Finally found the perfect seat for my Softail Slim S
For some time I've been searching for a comfortable seat for my 2016 Softail Slim S. I finally found it with this one. I can spend all day in this nice-looking, well-made saddle.

As everyone finds out, the stock seat usually has to go if you do any serious riding. My 2016 Softail Slim was no exception. I ride a lot and I take several two day to two week trips every year. I needed a comfortable seat that still made the bike look good. The Mustang seat fit the bill perfectly. I just returned from a twelve day run out to New Mexico. It was no problem to run from gas stop to gas stop, which for me is about 175 miles, comfortably. And after twelve days and 2675 miles on that one trip, I believe I can confidently recommend this seat.

Best Seat Out there
I ride a 2016 Softail Slim. The stock seat gave me zero confidence in my ride and would start to hurt after 30 minutes. With the Mustang Wide Solo I feel more confident with my ride and can ride longer distances. I can go a full tank before needing to stretch it out. It does sit you up high and more forward. I am 5'11" and it actually sat me perfect for the controls. I also purchased the solo passenger for my wife. it adds a little extra back support.

Great seat so far for my slim and extremely comfortable. The seat does seem to push you forward a little bit but nothing I can't get used to.
best bang for buck in a quality replacement seat
The Softail Slim seat looks good but is the most uncomfortable seat I have experienced in a stock seat over my 50 year riding career. I was good for 20 to 30 minutes before having to get off my butt. I actually experienced muscular pain and my legs would go to sleep within an hour. Shame on the Motor Company for supplying such a seat. I have owned high end and had custom seats made but I could not justify today's sticker price for one on my budget. I read ZLA posted reviews for the Mustang Solo for the Slim and decided to buy it. This product fit perfectly and took all of 30-seconds to install. The pan bumpers ride the rails and keep the seat off the electrical. The studded skirt covers all including the seat fastener and thus the Slim now looks cleaner. At this price point I can only say seat comfort is outstanding with very good build and material quality. This seat moved me forward and up about an inch from the stock seating position. I have a 28-inch inseam and the above, in addition to the wider than stock profile results in my right leg touching the primary when flat footing both feet. As the seat is new, the foam is somewhat firm and I perceive it will break in and resolve the matter. Its no big deal anyway if riding properly but wanted to inform the short inseam riders what to expect. I did not rate durability as it is new but I doubt there will be an issue. Love this seat!

Awesome saddle
Awesome seat, 10x more enjoyable than the stock seat. Only complain, which I knew before buying, it did move me up and inch which is no big deal, but a little closer to controls as well. Not a deal breaker as I planned on changing bars out too.
Very comfortable
Did all that I hoped it would. rode 1800 miles on it in a week and no complaints. don't look as cool as stock but with some bags on the bike it looks like it was made for it. comfort trumps style, very worth it.
Put this on a soft tail slim. Made a big difference with the heat from the oil tank. The ride is much better.

Great upgrade from stock
Super high quality. Looks great and is very comfortable. Moves you forward and up about an inch. Great for shorter riders. Highly recommended.

I've been looking at this seat for years. But they were always out of stock for my 13 Slim. I finally found it in stock but wanted the backrest and was not sure about $600. Looked again a couple of weeks later. Out of stock. Waited a couple more weeks and it was back in stock and I was afraid January was too close to spring to get it later so I bought it. What a game changer. It is so much more comfortable than the stock which I had taken apart and shoved extra foam everywhere to make itmore comfortable but still was uncomfortable for more than a few hours. Hopefully this one will be my #1 seat. Too cold for long distance but it sure was comfortable for the short time I road on it. Can't wait for a long distance trip.

Its perfect
Replaced the original "saddle" seat on my Softail Slim. Only took three days to get once it was back in stock, fit perfect right out of the box and hopefully it's as comfortable on a long ride as it is in my garage. I guess we'll find out for sure come spring time.

This is the second Mustang seat I have purchased and they are always top quality. Perfect seat for longer rides and it looks great too.
The seat looks great and I like the backrest but after 25 minutes into the ride my junk goes numb and the comfort level gets worse with every added minute. The next ride I put on a sheep skin but only added about 5 minutes before my butt started hurting. Wish I could return the seat.
One of the best investments I have ever made ! For longer trips I don't think it can be beat. It's not cheap, but WELL worth it.

Great Purchase and an awesome product! The backrest is an added bonus. Worth every dollar. It did raise the riding position a bit, but the ride is a lot more comfortable and no back pain!

Love the seat. Just wish it was a little less expensive.
Certainly helped on the 1200 mile round trip, backrest a little off square, but didn't have time to send it back, will live with it. Didn't need my back brace, so much better on the arse.
