Great improvement over stock
So far, I am really glad I purchased this seat. It is a big improvement in comfort and support over the stock Sportster seat, and it looks very good. My only complaint is that the passenger seat is pretty small and uncomfortable. I would say it's a bit smaller and probably just as hard as the passenger seat on the stock seat. That being said, unless you plan on longer trips with a passenger this is an excellent seat. FYI it raised me up about an inch above where I sat on the stock seat.
Looks good and feels better than stock!
I wanted something that was essentially the stock seat but one that was bearable to actually sit on, which the stock seat isn't. This one looked close in the pics, so I grabbed it. When I got it in my hands, I was astounded by the quality and hard coreness of it's construction. Everything I'd read about Mustang was true. This is a beast! I'd like to say it's all-day comfortable, but it's not. At least, in the 500 miles I've got on it so far it's not. It's better than the stocker, but it's not something you're going to tour with for 400+ miles a day.
It's just right
when I bought my bike it came with a La Pera seat. It looked perfect, slim slick and fit. My only issue was that although the seat looked great, I couldn't sit on it for more than 30 mins before my tailbone felt bent and sore.. this seat was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Looks just as good as my other seat yet provides much better support and comfort for myself and my girl. It's not a touring seat but I can easily ride for a few hours without hurting. Like I said it's just what I've been looking for.
Good looking and comfortable
Got this seat for my 2005 Sportster XLC. It's much more comfortable than the stock seat (what wouldn't be?) and it has nice lines. One issue: the the seat is a little long, so you have to insert the tang under the tank and make the nose of the seat bend up a bit on the tank to get it to fit. It isn't a problem and it looks fine, but it's worth noting.
Product exactily as described in detail
The new seat is so much more comfortable and the style is way better than factory. Installs in about 10 min. and the ride is worth twice the money. I put the seat on a 2012 Sportster 1200 Custom and it looks" Custom ". Dont ride another mile on factory seat, I wish I would of done this 2 yrs ago. Plus it was about half the price compared to a Harley dealer.
Great seat for a great price
Great seat at a great price. Bought this seat to replace the stock one that was killing my rear end. <br /><br />I love the low profile of the seat, and it is way more comfortable. Not perfect, but feels a lot better (Im 62, 215 lbs)<br /><br />Install is easy, you might have to finagle it a bit, but nothing too bad.
Great seat
This seat is fantastic compared to the stock seat. Easy install and resembles the appearance of the stock seat. However, it did raise me up about 1 inch higher. I just put the slammer kit on the Harley to lower it back down and now it's the perfect height and great ride with the new seat.
Great upgrade for your Sportster. Mustang seats are the best!

Product was well made but not exactly what I wanted. Returning the undamaged seat was simple and easy as well as the return of money. I placed another order for a vest, highway bars and foot pegs, also a BR3400 bag. All arrived on the expected date. Was impressed with the packing as well as the stuff. Bars bars, pegs and bag are securely mounter on my 1200Low HD and packed. Leaving on extended, no itenery trip in two days. Will update this review upon return

Gives the look you want on Sportster 1200. Way better than stock seat for riding.
The fastback seat is great, very comfortable, especially on long rides.
I replaced the stock seat on my Sportster with this & it was a great move! Not only is it very comfortable but it has cut down on vibration through the seat.
