Deutch plugs are the best. easy to remove the pins from case when the wires need to be pulled back through a constricted space.

I have to say the plug does looks good, shipping and price were fair. I am rating it low because it didn't come with any terminals. So it is useless untill I place another order for the pins. There was no note saying pins were not included. If you by one of these know the pins are a seprate part numbers.

This Deutsch connector is a perfect mate to a factory VOES connector of the same type. Make sure to purchase the NAMZ Cycle crimp-on connectors along with this item. This is the housing only, no metal connector is shipped with this unit. I'm real happy with this item, made my VOES on my custom bike easily replaceable and a cleaner install.

Deutsch connectors are the toughest and most positively locking plugs around, but they come without instructions and that makes them tricky for new users. The instructions, which can be found in recent H-D manuals or at the Deutsch web site, specify a unique crimper that costs $405. This tool isn't necessary however, unless the user insists on factory duplicate crimps. A little artistic crimping with ordinary crimps and needle nose pliers secured by a bit of solder works just as well. Once the connectors are assembled the crimped and soldered ends of the pins aren't visible anyhow.

This connector did not match its female counterpart. It had to be modified to correctly fit. Also, the pins & sockets that were ordered did not fit this connector.
