Awesome guards!
Ok heres the deal, Ive owned these for 1-1/2 years more or less. Initial money lay out is cheap, which is awesome. Install is quick which is even better. Havent had a single issue in regards to craftsmanship so far so Im a big fan. See below for a couple of install tips!<br /><br />1. When installing use red lock title on the small 1/4 thread screws that mount the guard to the actual mount. Let that set for a day or so before riding and it will not move up and down! I promise you that.<br /><br />2. THESE GUARDS WILL MOVE IF YOU HAVE HANDLE BAR MOUNT TURN SIGNALS. They will swivel and your mirrors wont sit right. Its horribly annoying! However, after a 11/2 years of running these I fixed it! Lol.<br /><br />I was doing a turn signal delete and installing a headlight with integrated turn signals. Once that was done o pulled off the swivel mounts for the handle bar mount turn signals. Removed the stock acorn nuts and put a fender washer and lock on then the stock acorn but back onto the mirror stem. tightened it down and BOOM! No more movement. I guess there was too much going on with the thickness of the hand guard mount and mounting plate for the swivel or the turn signal and it wasnt allowing the stock but to get a good bite on the mirror stems and clamp down.<br /><br />All the best, hope yall enjoy.
