Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Quantum® hardcoated polycarbonate and the older acrylic?

Quantum® is harder, more scratch-resistant, and more durable than acrylic. It won't yellow or cloud over time from UV exposure and road wear.

Will this fit my handlebar diameter?

This U-Clamp version fits 7/8"-1" diameter handlebars. Measure your bars before ordering — oversized bars require a different mount.

Can I adjust the angle of the windshield?

Yes — the RakeAdjust feature lets you tilt the screen forward or back to suit your riding position and wind protection preference.

Is this a universal fit for all bikes?

It's universal for most cruisers and touring bikes with standard 7/8"-1" handlebars. Bikes with custom or oversized bars may need a different mount style.

Worth it!

This windshield fits great! There's lots of adjustment for angle and height. Still working out the right angle for my Street 750 but 75+ MPH is much better than before! Works with my OEM Fairing too!

Very small. It is what it is.

I bought this because I wanted some wind protection on my Vulcan 900 custom. My girlfriend has this shield on her Shadow 600, and she really likes it, so I went with it.

The install is incredibly simple, but does take a little adjusting time. What it came down to, was that this shield is just way too small for a mid-size or full-size cruiser. It gave me insane amounts of head buffeting to the point I'd have a headache after 15 minutes at highway speed. If you ride a smaller bike, this might be what you need, but if you ride a bigger bike, I'd go with something larger. Now I need to find a way to get rid of this one to look for something larger.

Harley Street 750 Rider

I purchased this windscreen for my wife's Harley Street 750. The fit, wind flow break and height are perfect for her at 5'7''. The adjustability for rake allows personalization.

Not ideal for 2020 Honda Rebel

Although this universal fit shield will fit a 2019-2020 Honda Rebel, I'd caution against it. The mounting setup is better on a straight handlebar than one which is contoured/curved. It was a bit troublesome to mount on my 2020 Rebel and I could never get it perfectly centered. Also, when I'd get to 50-55 mph, I'd get a bit of shake to the bike. I blame it on the way it has to mount to the handlebar. Also, one of the mounting bars touch the gas tank when parked and wheel turned to side. I had to remove to prevent the shake and any scratches to tank
