Easy to install, helps keep the hands warm.
I saw these on a friends bike and he really liked them. These were easy to install. On my 2011 Road King Classic I have to be careful not to turn the handle bars all the way to one side when I park the bike or the bottom edge will contact the tank. I broke one of the plastic screws at installation. Customer service sent me two more right away. They said they use plastic screws so they will break away easily if you have an accident.
These work very well. The only problem I have had is that I have had to remove my 12 inch leather fringe from the handlebars as the wind tangles them up. I do like the wind protection though.
Happy needed them years ago
Unhappy
They didn't work on my bike. One side the bracket was too short.
Material was very brittle and cracked with minimal torque on plastic screws... my opinion don't waste your time and money.
designer , Take a hint from Klock Werks . A little flip might make a big difference .
simple install on my 2007 flstc . one side fits closer than the other, bummer, but most will not see it . It does the job of stopping the direct wind . I noticed especially at highway speeds . In S.D. grasshopper season can be brutle . Anything that stops big bugs and rocks especially off oncoming trucks is very desirable . Ithink they are a perminent installation for me . However its fairly easy to unload them .the look will not disapoint you . happy I found them.
bigger than I thought they would be
tough well built easy to install and my hands have plenty of room for the brake and clutch
A nice add for fall riding
Easy to mount up, they do their job very well, and they look classy as heck on bikes with big windshields.

These perfectly match the OEM windshield on my 2014 Softail Deluxe, and I'm always asked if they are factory!
Very nice, very easy to install.
Love the smoke tint makes them barely noticeable 👍🏼
Warmer Hands
Seems to be doing the trick. Just keeping the air off my hands during the cold weather is a great plus. Getting them adjusted was a bit awkward since they attached with the mirrors. Had to have my wife assist with balancing the bike so I could set the angles.
Work completely as advertised, super easy install and delivered quicker then orginally projected. Great buy.
All Good
Easy to install and looks good. Nice addition for cold weather riding.
These went on in about 10 minutes and work great keeping wind and bugs off my hands. So far, everybody agrees they look good on bike too!! And WAY cheaper than buying a fairing. A+
Easy to install, Worked great. Would have been a 5 but was missing a screw out of the package.
Really work Great, stops the rain from hitting my hands. Helps me not ot have to have a full faring or full windshield.
Have not put them on my bike...They are a lot larger than they look in pictures.
they were simple to install and they work great !
Easy to install, though mine were short one lock washer. Work great, though I notice a little bit of buffeting behind my Road King windshield that wasn't present previously. Not enough to not use them, though, as they are very effective on a cold day.
excellent product, plastic mounting bolts are junk though - just buy some stainless ones
Easy installation.
These hand deflectors perform just as the description says they do--they do a great job of blocking the wind from your hands. I was torn between heated gloves and these deflectors, and I'm glad I chose the deflectors. The more I though about it, the more I realized that the wind will eventually get to all gloves. And with electric gloves, you've got the wiring harness to fight with. So, why not address the problem at its source--the wind. Some other reviews that I read complained about a couple of plastic bolts that come with the deflectors, but I had no problem with them. Just don't overtighten. Installation takes about ten minutes. They're easy to put on and take off. So, it's not a hastle to remove them for warm weather.
Plactic bolts came off on the clutch side. They are cheaply made. Is it possible to replace the one bolt and nut.
They work great. Just went on a 100 mile 5 hour mountain ride at temps between 28 and 38 degrees and although I could feel the cold my hands were comfortable in thin insulated gloves without heaters or heated grips.
better and less expensive than a fairing for protecting the hands from rain and wind.
Simple to install and do what they are supposed to.
Easy install but the plastic bolts need an upgrade.
The hand deflectors work great in the cold Utah area.
Excellent.
great product. but you will probobly have to spend another buck or 2 for new metal screws
this I should have got a while ago love them
These deflectors fit well on my 2008 Road King. They do a great job of blocking the wind and I can ride on cold days without heated grips or heated gloves. Several people told me they look good on the bike, too. The install took about 10 minutes. Great for cold temps. I may leave them on in the summer since I ride in the rain a lot, too.
The wind deflectors themselves are a nice product. The problem is with the hardware. The bolts that mount the deflectors to the mounts are plastic and very poor quality. After breaking 2 when trying to install the deflectors, I finally tossed them out , went to my local hardware store and bought chrome 1/4" bolts and acorn nuts and finished the installation. Now they're installed right and look good.
I'm satisfied with how they block the wind, but there are a couple issues I think could be improved.

1. Plastic screws - should be chrome even if price needs to be increased a couple dollars.

2. When using on a bike with handlebar mounted turn signals, a new directional retainer must be bought. A washer and flathead screw are provided to attach the retainer and turn signal. When using the washer (3/16" thick) the screw isn't long enough. When not using the washer the retainer won't tighten against the bracket, so you'll need to find a washer around 1/8" thick.

3. They rub against the windshield a bit.

With a few design improvements these could be a very nice product. As they are, I'll probably take them back off and leave them sit in the garage.
If these deflectors were an inch or so wider, the wind would be truly deflected from the hands. These deflectors are not cutting the wind like I expected. In addition, the cheap plastic panhead screws supplied to connect the deflectors to the bracket are completely worthless. National should have supplied quality chrome bolts.
The deflectors are the best I have ever seen around. They do what they are suppose to and they look great. I was looking around for them and was not able to find them, until now. The price is well worth the item.
