Ehhhhh, it's, , , , , , ok, , , , , read below
OK, First things first, this is a LARGE windscreen. If you are looking for a windscreen that will virtually isolate you from all incoming wind ( and BUGS! ) then this windscreen is GREAT! However, , , it is BIG. I almost sent in a return request though, NOT because of how big it is, but because of how it mounts !!! The bottom 2 "mounting brackets" that attach the screen to the forks, are literally 2 HOSE CLAMPS and 2 plastic brackets. :-/
Of this I was so NOT impressed. I was going to sell my OEM Harley Q.D. tombstone style windscreen, but I will keep it and put it back on after the huge mass of spring / early summer bugs dies off some. This will be a seasonal use windscreen.
Awesome shield
When I received the shield I thought the brackets were a little flimsy but after installing the shield it was solid as a rock. Cuts the wind 95% which I needed for comfort. I'm an older rider and can stick my head to the side to get the wind in my face when wanted. Overall happy with my purchase.
I put it on my Yamaha MT-07
I know this is sacrilege for some, but I put it on my MT-07 with no modifications. It actually looks better than expected. It's a bit further and front than ideal (in front of the headlamp), but I think it's ok. No need to buy handlebar guards now. Seems to be better quality than a Puig I had, which crapped out in high desert winds. This one has attachment for both the handlebars and the fork, so it looks like it's going to stay on there. It feels sturdy. We'll see how it goes.

Disclaimer: Your results may vary, use as intended, follow instructions, and use at your own risk.
Excellent product and very quick service.
I am very happy with my purchase of this windshield. It looks to be a very heavy duty windshield and it suits my needs perfectly. Installation was very simple and The hardware looks to be very sturdy. I would recommend this product to a friend. I have not had it long enough to express the durability but it looks like it should last as long as I don't wreck it. Write your review here. It must be at least 25 characters long. Great windshield
Does a great job with the wind and bugs. It was very easy to install
I great! It fix well. Easy to assemble and does the job well!
Very sturdy and worth the price. Install was easy and simple
Windshield installed easily and is extra large to make highway riding comfortable. Looking forward to warmer weather. Fast shipping. Good looking windshield.
Will the windshield fit and line up nicely with the handlebars without there being a great big gap between the bottom of the shield and the top of the front light?
This is a giant windshield, and I love it! I installed it on my 1997 Harley Sportster 883 XLH. Easy to install and simple to adjust. Best of all I'm ready for bug season!
I wish I could post a picture to show the fit. I'm very happy.
Easy to install fast delivery great product
I purchased this fairing for a road trip I took to lake Ontario in September. It was easy to install and kept me from freezing to death for that thousand miles through northern NY. The full design that includes the hand and leg shield is well worth it.
was easy to install and fits well !
I put this on my Sportster a couple of years ago. Living in Wisconsin with a relatively short riding season, I was able to ride just short of 10,000 miles in 2015 and over 11,000 in 2016. This fairing helped make that possible.
I wanted to be able to ride when the temp. in the spring and fall was a little too cool to do it in comfort, so the Plexifairing 3 looked like a good choice. All clear, hand and lower protection, plus easy on and off just in case I wanted the wind in my face. Being March in NH, it will be a little longer before it gets it's first test run, but here is what I have to mention so far. It looks OK on the 2007 HD Sportster 1200 Custom, however the fit to the headlight has a very large gap, 3.750" and I'm not sure how this will play with the wind. The gap is necessary in order to get the correct vertical fit for the hand guards ,and the top of the shield height. A secondary filler piece would be a great addition for the HD bikes. So much for universal fit. The direction pictures look like they were done by someone who was setting the fairing up for the first time and had hand written a bunch of notes on the pictures. Not really professional, but with the printed instructions they seemed to be somewhat easy to follow. Warming up some of the plastic parts before trying to assemble them is also important, and I found that assembling the handlebar mounts on a 1" metal bar and leaving on the window sill in the sun for a few hours made it much easier to fit them to the bike bars. So far, for the price, I seem to be pleased with the Plexifairing 3...
Good fit. Easy to install on my Sportster
Great Item.
Great Item
The "Plexifairing 3" in and of itself is excellent. My son has put one on a Yamaha650, and it fits like a glove. Unfortunately, both I and the sales rep thought because my 2008 Softail Custom has one-inch handlebars that it would fit okay. NOT! It will not lineup properly no matter how you mount it. The reps at the manufacturer, National Cycle, said that for the Softail Custom with miniapes, it would require a switchblade windshield, lowers, and hand control covers to equate to the plexifairing. Oh well, it's still a nice product.
