Wind In the Face
I bought this to lessen the updraft wind that was hitting my face from below drafts. After putting on the national spartan windshield I had a lot of under drafts hitting me in the face making my beard tickle my face and causing my vision blurred in truck traffic and cant hear anything. These bolted on top to already installed national cycle fork assembly needed for this and windshield. There is still some side whip around wind from windshield but its not much of a problem. After I put these on I dont have much wind issues in the pocket behind the windshield and can focus less on wind and more on enjoying long rides at high speeds.
Put these lowers on my sporty... omg ! What a huge diff. no more wind blast ! <br />Just a slight breeze on my chin... do not hesitate ! Awsum ! Chrome was a little much.... so i covered them with carbon fiber tape..... bad ass !
I have to retract my statement and say that this product does work. I just went for a ride and the buffeting is noticeably less. I would say about 50% better.
Easily mounted on 2007 Harley FXD along with National Switchblade 'Chopped' windshield at the same time. Windshield made a HUGE difference in the wind, compared to NO shield, but the lower deflectors seem to help a lot too. No more 'white-knuckle' hangin' on at 75 mph freeway speeds. Good looking, high quality material, fasteners and mirror chrome <br />finish.

Way over priced for just two pieces of metal. The welds also show and are rough. I would not buy this product, I'm returning it.
mounted on 2002 FXST with National Cycle Windshield. No more buffeting, 75 is now comfortable with minimal wind blast and very little head vibration/buffeting
Worked good since I can't find ones that fit my softail custom with Harley windshield.

The switchblade windshield along with the chrome lowers work great for cold weather & long rides. The lowers completely stopped the wind buffeting on my FXST & made long rides a pleasure. The quick disconnect works easily for the shield. My only complaint is I wish the lowers could have thge quick connect too! Otherwise the lowers did what they are supposed to do & they look good too.
