Been using PM Brakes since 1988, wouldn't have anything else. Put them on my 2010 FXSTC with no problems...

I installed this on my 2013 Softail Deluxe , which came from the factory with what must be the worst brakes ever made. I tried to improve the lousy front brake via better pads and stain!ess steel lines first, neither of which made much of a difference.<br /><br />This caliper made the difference. It stops smooth and easy if you're easy on the brakes and digs in if you grab a handful. The pads that came with if seem fine, although they don't bite all that hard until you get them hot. <br /><br />Install was easy. The caliper comes with some shims you'll need to get the caliper centered on the rotor. It took me some trial and error, but nothing difficult and I had it on and bled in probably under an hour.<br /><br />If you have a Harley with crappy brakes, this caliper is the fix!

These calipers once properly installed are quite an improvement from OEM. Can stop the bike with 2 fingers and have far more control with pressure on the lever. Be sure when installing to shim the caliper correctly inline with the rotor and be patient when bleeding with DOT5 to get all the air bubbles out. Initial feel is softer from OEM at the start when pulling the lever however firms up very nice and controllably soon after. Looks sharp with matching front and rears!

This was the left caliper in a stock dual disk setup on a 2005 FXDXi (Dyna Super Glide Sport). The caliper quality seems top notch but the mounting bolts were a bit underwhelming (the threads felt a little sloppy). I was able to torque them to spec so probably just being nit-picky. I'm still breaking in the pads, but so far the brake perform much better than stock, have great lever feel and are very progressive. If you're looking to replace your stock Harley calipers, these are a great choice.

5 star<br /><br />Used along with a Twin Power floating rotor and braided steel hose. The bike stops 100% better than stock setup. <br /><br />I have a 09 Fatboy. Plus the assembly really look nice! I flushed the system and used Lucas synthetic Dot4 fluid.

Bought this for my 09 Fatboy along with a Twin Power floating 11.5 rotor. I can absolutely stand this bike on its nose now!<br /><br />The difference is nothing less than amazing. The caliper came with all hardware, shims if needed (I did not) and brake pads. Very complete kit.<br /><br />If someone would have told me the difference this brake would make I would not have believed them. But, now experiencing it first hand I'm a believer! <br /><br />You will not be disappointed! Plus it looks awesome!

Much better feel and modulation than OEM which was stiff and ineffective. Highly recommend!

Now I remember how brakes are supposed to feel. My OEM calipers were getting pretty soft, but I don't have that problem anymore. These calipers work, and they look great doing it.

Needs Better Bleeder

Good brakes but you MUST be careful with the bleeder screw. I wish it was a bigger size because It can snap with very little pressure.

Love this new brake caliper! It installed quickly and easily however the brake bleeding process is a bit messy. It looks real sharp and provides improved front wheel braking - I definitely recommend this part.

Part came complete and ready to install. Installation was a snap, and provided shims aligned caliper in just a few seconds. Looks and performance are above expectations. Top quality part.
