Frequently Asked Questions
What is the actual eye-to-eye length?
12.5 inches, but the dual-spring design makes it sit and ride like an 11.5-inch shock when the bike is loaded.
Can I adjust the ride height or preload?
Yes — the five-position preload adjuster lets you dial in spring rate to match your weight and riding style.
Is this shock gas-charged?
Yes — a gas charge in the damper body reduces aeration and maintains consistent performance under hard riding.
Will I get a lowered look without a rough ride?
That's the design goal. The flat-wire and progressive springs let you drop stance while still using full shock travel on bumps and dips.

Stiff
The shocks seem super nice, but they are incredibly stiff. Turns out they’re 130/200 top to bottom. Would be nice to have an option to choose your spring rate. Couldn’t find it in the description either. Have them installed on a 1998 sportster 1200 by the way. I’m about 180lbs and they don’t move at all, my friend who weighs about 260 also said they were way to firm. Hope this helps.
