Frequently Asked Questions
Can I adjust the preload without special tools?
Yes — the 5-position cam adjuster requires no tools. Turn it by hand to dial in your preferred ride height and stiffness.
What's the difference between standard and heavy-duty springs?
Heavy-duty springs handle heavier riders and two-up loads better. Standard springs work well for lighter solo riders.
Do these come with chrome covers?
Chrome Show covers are optional and available on select applications. Check fitment details for your model.
How does nitrogen charging improve performance?
High-pressure nitrogen keeps damping consistent across temperature changes and prevents foaming in the hydraulic fluid during hard riding.

Stiff
The shocks seem super nice, but they are incredibly stiff. Turns out they’re 130/200 top to bottom. Would be nice to have an option to choose your spring rate. Couldn’t find it in the description either. Have them installed on a 1998 sportster 1200 by the way. I’m about 180lbs and they don’t move at all, my friend who weighs about 260 also said they were way to firm. Hope this helps.
