I installed these on my 2013 Harley Road Glide Ultra about two weeks ago. Being 6'4" tall and weighing 350 lbs I did quite a bit of studying and asking others before making my purchase. With about 300 miles on them I can honestly say WOW! what an upgrade. I opted for the heavy duty 13.5" version due to my heftiness. These have 4 settings for stiffness/sag I've settled on the second softest after trying them in settings 2 and 3 I found three to be a bit too rigid even with my weight. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because Its impossible to rate the durability at this point. They ride great so far and if they hold up I'll rerate them to 5 stars. The only con is that having a fine pair of shocks on the back end makes the front end seem wimpy. Now I'm seriously considering the progressive heavy duty fork springs for the front. I hope this helps you make your decision.

Buit for riding

These shocks are the real deal for the money. If you are running the stock seat on a touring bike, follow the weight instructions provided by Progressive Suspension. But if you are close to 250lbs or you have changed out your seat for one that puts you further back a little, go with the Heavy Duty ones because generally speaking more weight is placed towards the rear of the bike when you switch out seats. This is what I did and couldn't be happier. Riding over rail road tracks or other obstacles is not a consideration anymore. I don't bottom out, even at high speed and the increase in overall handling is well worth the cost. Much better than stock suspension. Also, I went taller by half an inch and I'm happy that I did. I put them on an 09 Road King Classic.

I'm a big guy 6'2 320lbs my wife is tiny 130lbs so I needed an upgrade the stock airshocks didn't cut it so I purchased the progressive 412s and wow it's a whole new bike I got the shock in a one inch longer length for added travel and by the way I ride a 2013 roadglide custom I recommend it to anybody that is large like me to get the shocks with the hd springs there is no more bottoming out and the ride is awsome

So smooth!

I weigh over 300 lbs (I know I'm fat) so I purchased the heavy duty, also bought the 13" for a little more cushion. Solo I ride it with one click on the preload, haven't had the chance to ride 2 up but the preload is real simple with the tool provided (kept in the saddlebag). The shocks are very responsive and make my ride so smooth! <br /><br />Install is super easy and can be done by yourself though I had a brother help to make sure the bike didn't tilt off the jack.<br /><br />$299 for these is a good price for it. Durability I'm assuming a 5 though I've only put about 750 miles on them so far. Washers provided allowed for it to fit perfectly and finish looks nice though my saddlebags cover them.<br /><br />My bike is a 2010 FLHX Street Glide.

Excellent option for the stock air shocks

They bolted right up. The settings range from single to 2 up long distance touring comfort. My wife Nd I always ride tigether 2 up. We found the 3rd notxh to be the most pleasant to cushion bumps but prevent bottoming out. Would def recommend !

Great Bang for your Buck

Love the Progressives so far. Have only done about 100 miles but with the wife and I on our Ultra Classic the ride is 100% better than the factory air ride. Installation was simple and adjusting is a breeze.

Better than OEM, my opinion.

I went with the HD set. Almost always have my bike loaded down. No more jolts or bottoming out. I stuck with original ride height. I'd recommend if your staying on a lower budget, I'm happy with this choice.

Great Purchase

I got the 13" size to replace 12" on my 14 street glide. These made a major improvement in the comfort and performance. Roads in Oahu are full of pot holes and I bottom out a lot with the 12". The change in ride with the 13" was way better than I expected. I have not hit bottom with these and pot holes I used to dodge I can go over smoothly with these.<br />Install was super easy. I don't think it took longer than 20min to make the change and get adjusted.

Versatile shock for the money

Installed on my 09 Ultra after a stock shock busted a seal. They are easily adjustable and work great. I ride about 60% of the time two up and I also pull a time out or a small cargo trailer depending on what I am doing. Despite the load and the extra person, they, perform well. <br />My only advise is to install the right shock first on a dresser. Then remove the old shock and install on the left.

Great for 2017 Street Glide

My wife and I ride 2 up frequently. We are both over weight @ 250 and 220lbs., so we went with the HD. I wish I would've got these when I bought the bike. It rides 10 times better! My wife loves them also, and she is able to ride longer and not be in pain from bottoming out all the time on the rougher roads. I went from 12 to 13" for a little extra cushion and lean angle after reading other reviews. We are very happy!

Progressive 412 shocks-07 Ultra

Much better ride on my 07 Ultra Classic

I ordered these to replace the OEM air shocks on my '06 Road King, which were toast. I am 73 yrs old, and have back issues from a wreck years ago. After installing these, I went for a 200-mile cruise and had NO issues at all, and the bike rode like brand new. Highly recommend.

Very good shocks for your money!

Installed on my 2012 harley ultra classic. It took me about 10 min to install and I've never dealt with shocks befor. These shock are very smooth and I love the fact that they are adjustable and they won't break the bank.

Worth the weight in price!

2019 RGS?never had any suspension other than stock, can't imagine what expensive shocks would be like but for the price, these definitely out some glide into the road! Ride from Georgia to Niagara Falls on back roads the day after install. Smoothed out the ride and helped tremendously with northern roads and pot holes. Extremely happy with the price and the improvement these provide. I can actually feel the preload sag and the response to adjustment with my luggage. Stock shocks never seemed to respond to any adjustments?HD should use these as stock and save us all a few bucks compared to stock garbage they install; progressive you adjust both shocks where stock is only the right side and is doing the work of two shocks.

Not all I wanted

To be honest I don't feel my 2013 Road Glide rides any different than the stock air shocks in fact it bottoms out on almost the smallest of bumps in the road on the factory settings that the shocks were on. I'm 180 lbs if I have a passenger these will be awful. I'm going to try the adjustment on these 412 shocks and hopefully I will see improvement stay tuned.

2009 FLHTC Fit perfect and work as hoped !!

Installed a set of the 13" 412 black heavy duty on my 2009 Electra Glide Classic, was very tired of the stock air shocks bottoming out on larger bumps even after trying to replace the shock oil as some have suggested. The wife really likes the ride now compared to before the swap over. We ride 2 up most of the time and have enjoyed several rides now with these and happy to say two thumbs up. I have the settings on the 3rd notch as we usually have the bike a bit overloaded with gear for the long trips.

Great Shock Great Price

OK... I usually buy the much more expensive Progressive shocks for my Harleys but I bought these for my 2018 RoadKing Special and really like them. I have a set of RR Tracks close to my house that are hell. Rode right over them today at speed limit bike handled it great! So I bought the 12'5" Heavy Duty 412's to get a bit more cushion as I weigh 260 lbs and this is my solo bike and I wanted a bit more downforce on the front end without jacking it up like an Ultra Classic. I set them up on just the second notch and perfect!!! Install was simple the shocked arrived in just a few days and honestly I can not tell the difference between the 412's and my Progressive 944's on my 2020 StreetGlide FLHX honestly!!! But I know the 412's only set me back half as much $$$. Would I buy these again??? In a secong. Better then stock by far. i HAVE 5 HARLEYS RIGHT NOW AND THESE ARE MY GO TO SHOCKS FROM NOW ON.

2011 Road glide ultra<br />15 minutes to install comes with bushings and spacers. Very large improvement over the air shocks. Lot of 2-up riding. Would buy a second time.

Careful getting what you pay for

I don't like leaving bad reviews- I emailed JP and about these and never got a l response, so after a few weeks I'll post a review. First, I wish I spent another 250 or 300 and got something adjustable and not something that's identical to what came stock on my sportster. Second, my flhtcu has no tour pack, passenger or loaded saddlebags, and I'm 175 lbs- there's no reason these should be bottoming out constantly unless all the way stiff. Which limits travel. I did put these on my sportster and they're perfect on a 500lb bobber. On a touring bike, no way. My takeaway- they're good quality, but in my opinion, the heavy duty springs should be the only option. There's not much adjustment, they're valved soft as can be and I would be weary of spending 400 plus on these shocks when 6-700 gets something much better in every way. If I knew how soft these are I'd get an inch over stock to hopefully have enough travel to not get bounced off the saddle every time I hit a modest dip in the pavement.

Overall improvement!!!

Definitely helped with my ride quality on my 12 Ultra Limited. I changed from stock air shocks to a set of HD adjustable shock borrowed from a Road Glide. I can see why my buddy got rid of them. These are a great overall improvement for my bike. I rode a 250 mile round trip recently and I was impressed. I would definitely recommend these if you're on a budget like me.

Good value for the price

Seem to be a real good value for the money. Went with the 13 heavy duty. Way better than the worn out stock when we are 2 up over these bad roads.

Dissatisfied with Shocks.

To be honest with you, I am not happy with the shocks at all. When l set them on 2 or 3 they bottom out. 4 or 5 feel like l am riding a hard tail.

A base shock with a great price. Very firm ride on my 2020 EG Std. even on the lowest preload setting. I ride solo (no passengers!). I like a nice firm ride so I'm happy with that. Even though the shocks I ordered are the exact measurement eye to eye, my bike does sit about half and inch taller. Also ok with that! Most likely the difference between the sagging worn out stock shocks I removed at 68,500 miles.<br />These shocks carry the Gabriel name stamped into the side of the eyelets and have a "Progressive" sticker affixed the the shock cover. Not that I am unhappy about this, but that should be clearly noted in the description so that you know what you are getting up front. After 700 miles on these shocks, I am quite happy so far. Now lets see how long they hold up.

Progressive Suspension 412 Series

Only downside was it took me 2 1/2 weeks to receive the shocks. (Stuck in the Fed-ex facility) <br /><br />The installation of the new progressive suspension/412 Series was very easy. It took about 15 minutes. My 2008 Ultra Classic had air shocks (original) that were not working as they should. I took the bike for a ride; great improvement. I forgot how smooth my bike rode. Highly recommend these shocks???????

More than I expected!!

I replaced the oem shocks on my 15 Ultra Low with these 412's and very pleased with them!! I am impressed with ride and cornering as it no longer wonders or pushes and holds a true line throughout the curves. Very easy to install and as usual shipping was very fast and no product damage. If you're not wanting to drop a fortune and looking for a comfortable ride these are a great choice. I'm definitely pleased with the outcome!!!

Should have kept stock

I ran progressive suspension on my softail and loved it but these "heavy duty" 412 are horrible. Even with the pre load setting to the max just standing the bike up straight off the kickstand squats the shock an inch. So every little bump I hit in the road I bottom out.

Not good at all.. they made my bike rub scrape hitting any bump.. never buy again.. and now I can't even get my money back.. what a joke!!

Very nice budget friendly shocks. Definitely an improvement over stock. Sure they don't have a ton of adjustments but for the money no complaints here.

Put on my 2016 Ultra because I can't stomach the $700 price point for shocks. Better than the HD AIR shocks I removed. Turned to greatest preload setting for heavy service. This review is after a few hundred miles of service.

Very disappointing

Junk. Bought the 11.5?s for my 2021 Ultra. Tried all five setting and the bike was un rideable. Literally. Extremely disappointed and after the trial run took the shocks off and re-installed the OEM?s. Maybe a taller shock would work but I DO NOT recommend these! Out $379 bucks I guess.

Better than I expected

I got tired of my 2010 Road Glide bottoming out on every little ripple in the road. I added 1 1/2? of overall length over the factory shock length with this shock and it?s like a new bike. I love it! Has an adjustment for spring preload for hauling a passenger. The only issue was a slight interference with the axle nut and my non-stock muffler which was easily corrected with a minor ball peen hammer adjustment. Wish I had done this sooner.

I recently purchased a 2006 Road King from a local dealership. After riding it for a few weeks I got frustrated that it kept bottoming out. (Back story: This is my first HD, yet I?ve been riding for 22 years & I've never had a bike bottom out, and that includes 12 years of living in California where I only had bikes and rode them daily). <br /><br />During that first 2 weeks, I had taken the bike on the highway quite a bit and the bike had a wobble to it depending on the crosswinds and type of pavement. So I checked the forums to see what lathe issue may have been. Everyone said the same thing. Harley suspension is not very good. <br /><br />I wanted to accessorize my bike and make it look the way I wanted it to look, but I also wanted it to ride like a beast. So, I figured, I?d give the Progressive Monotubes a shot. (I used Affirm to pay for them. Otherwise I probably would still be waiting to replace the front suspension). It was the best money I?ve spent on a bike upgrade to date. It rides like a new bike despite being 15 years old. The experience of adding the front suspension convinced me to also upgrade the rear stock Harley air shocks to progressive rear shocks as well. Totally worth the money. <br /><br />Progressive also has some great YouTube videos that shows you exactly how to install them. (I went with the heavy duty and I don?t regret it. I?m 6 foot 200-ish pounds)

Great shocks for the price

I have used these 412's for years on my 2008 Road King. I had to change out my 2019 Road Glide shocks with a new set of 412's based on my Road King experience. They work great!

Got the heavies

Only have a little over 110 miles so far and they have a good feel to them. Got the heavyduty since I'm 270. The bikes a road king thats not usually over loaded

Great temporary fix.

I put these on my 23 Road Glide and they are a huge difference from the stock crap that came on the bike. They are a temporary fix for me as I plan on putting Ohlins on the bike when I can afford them. I have them on the first setting, I'm 260 lbs. and they seem to do the job but there is definitely better.

Best Ever 10 X Better Than Harley Davidson JunkStock Shocks

Outstanding shocks I would rate them 6 stars but only 5 were available. I weigh 300 lbs and purchased the progressive 412 heavy duty in 13 inch. I had them professionally installed by Craig and Bill at Woods Performance Tuning In Cartersville, Georgia because I am not good at installing parts. Wow!! what a difference in ride quality 10 times better than Harley Davidson stock junk shocks that came on my 2016 RoadGlide. The 13 inch handles very well in curves, bumps, and general riding long as well as short distances. I purchased the 13 in rear heavy duty 412 because I am a big guy. Also, I have a 21 inch rim on the front and my RoadGlide rides so much smoother now. Furthermore, due to the dip when pressing the front brakes I purchased the progressive front monotube cartriage suspension kit. This is the best combination ever!! I went with the standard 12 length on the front. This combo is like a night and day difference from the shocks that come on the bike. I wish I had done this several years ago. No more bottoming out in the rear and no more harsh handling and nose diving in the front. There is no need to spend $1,000 on just rear shocks by purchasing Olins or Legends. These Progressive Shocks can be purchased for the front and rear for less than $1,000 what a bargain. J & P Cycles had them on my porch in 2 days. Plus J & P Cycles price matched them and I got the best price. I am convinced that this was the best decision after researching numerous shocks for front and rear. I have upgraded KST Handlebars, Woods 777 Cams, Arlene Ness Stage 2 Big Air Filter, S & S Head Pipe, Bassani DNT Slip On's, Saddleman Road Sofa Gel Seat along with the Backrest. I love all my upgrades. But buying the (Progressive Rear Shocks and Front Suspension) was the most improved and impressive upgrade on my RoadGlide [PERIOD] !!! Save your money on the big expensive name brands. Look no farther - buy these and I guarantee you will be very happy with the improved comfort and smooth ride. I ride my RoadGlide daily except when it's raining and this purchase has been worth every dollar I spent. I look forward to riding my bike every chance I get now.

Amazing ride, pic you see is not what you get

Install was easy and ride has greatly improved! The ONLY reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because the pic of what the shock looks like is not what I got. There was a certain look I was expecting with this install and what I got is not it... YES my ride is great but part of the reason I went with this was for a certain look as well.

These really are the very best shocks not only for the money, but period! <br />Not only are they a great value, but they're extremely well made and work very well.<br />I got caught up in the (got to spend a small fortune) game to get quality shocks, and it's just not true. These shocks work just as good as the "L" brand that cost 4 times as much! I for a fact, as I have rode an Ultra Classic 07 with Ledgend and my 06 with the Progressive. I can not tell the difference. Both are a huge improvement over stock, but for the crazy price of the L brand, I just can't feel the difference.

Put the Heat Duty ones on my 2006 Road King Custom as I usually ride around with close to 350lbs with passenger?. Fit like a charm install very easy? Setting Preload was super easy with help of my wife? They are leaps and bounds ahead of the stock suspension and I don't think you can get a better value?

Will do the job.

My factory air shocks were shot and full of water. I decided to go back to the old school style shocks. I just finished up putting them on my 2015 FLHTK Ultra Limited, I haven't had a chance to test them out yet. Good looking shock.

These shocks were not what I thought they would be, they were recommended by a technician for my street glide to replace my stock street glide shocks, they are the 412s and they ride just as rough as my stock shocks not pleased at all tried to return them they would not take them back or let me trade them for a better shock , wouldn't recommend the 412s to anybody or progressive period

Size off

Stock shock size is 13" for my bike. I ordered 13" heavy duty because of riding mostly 2 up and it is adjusted for sag all the way and still is bottoming out so don't no if it was the wisest choice do your research into sizing and go larger to have adjustment.

Great upgrade for 2020 Electra glide.

Best upgrade mod for riding 2up. Installed on my 2020 Electra glide that my wife & I ride mostly highway. The potholes are no longer earth shattering on the bike. Rearend is stiffer, & has changed the entire feel of the ride for our bike. Went with the 13.5" heavy duty shocks, even though I was replacing 12.5" stock shocks. Could not be happier with the difference.

I have a 2022 Roadglide ST. I installed with in 20 minute. It took longer to get my tools out then do the job. Excellent. My bike rides so much better

They were very smooth when the rode was level but if not level, the ride was way to stiff for me.

They were much to stiff for me. The ride was killing my lower back. I put the stock shocks back on my bike. <br />I would like to return them if possible and buy some that not so stiff.

I wasn't ready to spend a ton of money for rear shocks that may or may not have made a difference so I purchased these, 13" Heavy springs, and put heavy duty fork oil in the front, and it was a day and night difference on my 2014 Road King. 10/10, would recommend!

Installed on my Ultra CVO, so far the shocks seem to be an improvement over the factory air. The rebound of the shock is a little more than I'm use to.

I rarely give 5 stars, everything can be improved. I haven't ridden on these yet but the install was fairly easy, need a frame lift and the instructions could be a little simpler for do it yourselfers but a seasoned rider should have no problem. Over all great build quality. Only drawback is preload has to be adjusted by removing saddle bags on a bagger

Great shock for the money

I drove my wife's 02 Dyna and noticed her shocks were shot. I bought these. They restored it to an OEM ride IMO. Nothing spectacular about these shocks, about what I expected.

Amazing difference in ride comfort. If I knew what a drastic difference it made, this would have been the 1st upgrade right after buying my Harley

Put them on my 2016 Ultra Classic, took a 500 mile trip. Tracks like on rails. Should have done this years ago.

I have an09 flhtc with 38000 miles or so on it, I got these to replace stock air shocks. I also replaced the front springs with progressive stock length heavy duty springs the combination has made a big difference in handling and ride, I would highly recommend both modifications. I bought the 13 inch and set the ride height at 11 and 3/4 this is perfect for me

07 road king. 12.5 inch standard duty spring, 240 lb rider. Went from air shocks to these. Night and day difference, the bike is super stable and predictable now. It does everything better. Had to run the middle setting to get my ride height correct.

Much better than stock. Set the preload correct and you will absolutely enjoy these shocks!

I put these shocks on to replace the OEM ones; so far, these seem to be a good replacement. Will know more when I get on a longer ride.

big change, bike is much more fun to ride

Had for about 2 weeks. So far, so good. I opted to purchase the "hard" set due to my wife normally riding with me on my Ultra Classic and usually a pretty full trip trunk. Currently on the second setting and we had no issues. Going to try the third on our next trip to see what the difference in firmness is. Happy so far.

Had no idea how mushy the ass end of my FLHTK was. After installing Progressive Suspension 412 Shocks I have a much more responsive scoot! If y'all are running stock suspension, give these a try, you will feel the difference.

Used these to replace stock air shocks. Adjustability is good, fit and finish good. Easy install. Had to install bottom bolt first then top bolt to clear the pipes.

Way better than the stock air shocks. Mildly adjustable (pre-load only) which makes it easy for me to adjust. I went 1/2" taller for more lean angle.

Have ridden on these for a couple weeks now on a bike with 11k miles replacing the factory air shocks. I adjusted them to the 2nd level from bottom - 1 step above the softest ride option. I went with a shorter shock - 1" shorter to lower the rear. It is a stiffer ride on the bigger bumps, but that's to be expected lowering 1", but on normal/average bumps they seem to be a smoother ride than factory shocks. I moved them to the lowest/softest setting last night and will see how they feel. The front fork springs seem a little weaker now on the big bumps, but not to the point of "I have to replace them asap". It's a good ride on normal road conditions. Overall I'm happy and for the (relative) price I would recommend. I'd buy em again

I bought these for an 2010 ultra classic single up rode fine loved them but 2 up bottomed out all the time just not heavy duty enough for the weight of a touring bike

Needed to have more adjustment for 2 up. However, at max setting with 2 riders, I have very little bottom out issues compared to the stock shocks. These shocks do handle better and the ride is smoother as well.

Well I got the shocks on and the ride is real bad trued adjusting them it didn't change ?

Picked these up to replace an old set of Progressive shocks. Excellent customer service at JP Cycle. Answered all my questions and love the shocks!!

I rather suspect I should have gotten the standards. I got the HD model, and even on the lightest setting, not enough suspension sag. My mistake. Fortunately, the springs are not difficult to replace, if you have the right tools. I don't have enough miles on them yet to decide.

I replaced the airshocks on my 2015 roadking. I have never loved a purchase so much in my life. The ride is SO MUCH better. I am 230 and my wife is 170+ with both of us and the added luggage the heavy duty ones I ordered work perfect on the lightest setting so I can add weight and increase the shocks quite a bit still.<br /><br />WOULD RECOMEND 100%!!!!!!

I purchased these shocks because I previously installed 412s on my Dyna. These are a cost effective way to make a drastic change to your OEM handling. After installing these, I took my 2015 RGS on a 30 min test ride. I could immediately tell that the bike felt much more planted. I would recommended and buy again (I already have)<br /><br />I am 280lbs and I often have my fiancee with me so I went with the 12" HD shocks. I rode alone and these didn't feel too stiff riding solo.

So far they're great! Changes the whole riding experience and the bike handles way better!

Shocks look like very good quality and very easy to install but not sure I like the ride, they are very stiff and I feel every bump in the road now, hoping they will loosing up after more miles. I tried all setting and didn't feel any different.

Awesome shocks! Beat the stock air rides by far. Took up in the mountains - handled the curves two up with wife and I on a 2013 Roadglide. Highly recommend for the price. I have Legends which were fantastic on my Hot rod Superglide but these were one third the price. Only road two days but so far so good!

harley should be for the ashamed for the shocks they put on there bikes but they are probably cheap to make the 412 are way better !

I watched accouple videos on installing the 412s. Replacement went well. I need more miles 2 up to get the best pre set. So far so good.

Wanted to get rid of my Road Kings stock air shocks, but money is tight. These were priced right and the quality is great, bike feels much better now and handles much better, I got the HDs cause I'm a big guy. At 270lbs so far no problems with these shocks

Great ride and value

Since I had used my annual bike budget to rebuild everything inside the cam case I had limited funds left to replace my old HD air shocks. Pleasantly surprised - with the exception of a little lack of compression damping, these inexpensive shocks make a huge difference in my bike's ride. For the price they're a definite win.

I received them in a timely manner. They fit on the bike! When warm weather hits I hope they do what they are suppose to!

Arrived quickly. Easy installation. I'm no mechanic and it took me less than 30 minutes to remove my factory shocks and install the new ones. Rides excellent and lowered my seat nearly 2".

I installed Progressive 412 shocks on my 2010 HD Ultra Classic to eliminate the worthless HD air shocks. The 412's are great, wish I had done it sooner.

They work good on a 07 FLHTC for lowering it about an inch. Don't forget if you do this, you are best off to get a one inch shorter kick stand. I also lowered the front end. Thanks for the quick shipping

I purchased these over the H&D suggested $1200 shocks based on reviews, friends suggestions, and manufacturers information. I am a bigger guy at 310lbs and set on the middle position they provide the ride, comfort, and service I expected.

I replaced the factory air shocks (2016 Road Glide) with these very fine Progressive shocks. Rough Arizona paved road to test. I weight 185 lbs, one up rider. Excellent gain over the factory shocks. Completely happy with these shocks. Later, with 2 up riding, 115 lb. passenger, they performed even better with the pre-load setting. Worth every bit the cost!! Very much recommended.

I like the ramp style preload adjuster. The dampening is not as progressive as I would have liked, but the overall value is there. It is a step up from OEM on my 2010 Streetglide. I'd recommend.

I put them on to get rid of the old air shocks on my 08 ultra and wow what a difference. The ride is so much better and it handles better also.

I am dissappointed with these shocks. They a very firm with little give or travel. They are marginally better than stock. Got them half inch longer thinking I was getting extra travel .. wrong, they have less than the originals. They would be good for the track maybe but average otherwise. Double checked I didn't get the heavy duty ones .... hate to think what they'd be like. You get what you paid for. But they have stopped the pogo effect the originals had. I see I'll have to spend big to get what I want.

Bought this for my 2008 Ultra Classic and after riding it and finding the right adjustment the shocks work great.

I want to talk about how easy it was to instal the Progressive 412 shocks on my 2007 FLHR. The tools I used were a 3/4 in socket, a foot pound torque meter and a mc/atv floor jack. I recently uninstalled and installed my wheels to have new tires mounted and replaced brake pads on front and rear. Mounting the shocks was the easiest of these three maintenance events. If you have the above mentioned tools you can replace your own shocks.

Just what I was looking for. Put them on a 2017 Roadking. I am 5'6" now I can place both feet flat on the ground. Smooth ride, too. Thanks J & P Cycles.
