Frequently Asked Questions

How do I adjust the preload?

The five-position cam-style adjuster lets you change preload without tools. Turn the adjuster to match your weight and riding style.

What's the difference between Standard and Heavy-Duty?

Standard shocks suit typical rider weights. Heavy-Duty springs handle heavier riders or two-up riding with better load support.

Does this come with a warranty?

Yes — one-year manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

Will these fit my specific Harley model?

These are designed for most Harley applications, but fitment varies by year and model. Confirm your bike's fitment before ordering.

Stiff

The shocks seem super nice, but they are incredibly stiff. Turns out they’re 130/200 top to bottom. Would be nice to have an option to choose your spring rate. Couldn’t find it in the description either. Have them installed on a 1998 sportster 1200 by the way. I’m about 180lbs and they don’t move at all, my friend who weighs about 260 also said they were way to firm. Hope this helps.
