Frequently Asked Questions
How does Frequency Sensing Technology work?
FST senses bump frequency and automatically adjusts internal oil flow through ports to dampen small bumps smoothly while controlling larger impacts.
Can I adjust the preload myself?
Yes — the top-mount threaded adjuster allows hand-tuning of spring preload without special tools.
What's the difference between standard and heavy duty springs?
Heavy duty springs provide firmer support for two-up riding or heavier loads. Standard springs are tuned for solo riding.
Is this a lifetime warranty?
Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner.
Where are these made?
Progressive 444 shocks are manufactured in the USA.
