About Progressive

Progressive Suspension has focused exclusively on American V-twin suspension since 1982, and its Monotube fork cartridges and 400/970/970G shock series are among the most common upgrades on baggers and Softails. For most riders the stock rear shock is the single worst part on the bike — this is the fix.

Refine your Harley Milwaukee-Eight Softail's ride with Progressive 465 Series R.A.P. shocks. These high-performance units deliver superior handling, featuring a 46mm high-pressure monotube design and hand-tuned damping.

Why riders pick this

  • Improve M8 Softail handling and ride quality
  • Remote Adjustable Preload for quick, tool-free tuning
  • Five-position rebound damping for personalized control
  • Customize ride height with various length options

Transform your M8 Softail's ride with the Progressive 465 Series R.A.P. shocks. Improved Ride Height

Installed the 13.5” heavy duty in my 2019 slim. It has given me about an inch of extra clearance. Now I have to be really be pushing it to scrape the floor boards.

Outstanding fit and finish. Fits like a glove and the owner was able to place her feet flat on the ground.
