Frequently Asked Questions

Can I adjust these shocks without special tools?

Yes — preload, rebound, and compression damping all adjust via easily accessible knobs and hand-adjustable eyelet. No special tools required.

What's the height adjustment range?

The eyelet adjusts 0.4 inches, allowing you to dial in ride height without changing the spring rate.

How do the dual compression circuits work?

High and Low Speed compression damping are routed through separate circuits, letting you tune ride quality independent of bump absorption for better overall performance.

Is installation straightforward?

This is a direct bolt-on replacement for stock Dyna rear shocks. Standard motorcycle shock installation applies.

Can I fine-tune these for my riding style?

Yes — adjustable preload, rebound, and dual-stage compression damping let you customize feel for your weight, riding conditions, and preferences.

Stiff

The shocks seem super nice, but they are incredibly stiff. Turns out they’re 130/200 top to bottom. Would be nice to have an option to choose your spring rate. Couldn’t find it in the description either. Have them installed on a 1998 sportster 1200 by the way. I’m about 180lbs and they don’t move at all, my friend who weighs about 260 also said they were way to firm. Hope this helps.
