Best assembly lube that I have not had a chance to use yet
I haven’t used it yet, but they asked me for a review a couple of days after receiving it so here it goes: the bottle is extraordinarily cylindrical!
Red Line Assembly Lube is a specialized pre-lubrication compound for V-twin motorcycle engines, designed to coat critical wear surfaces before oil pressure builds during startup. It provides superior film strength compared to conventional assembly greases and won't clog engine filters after initial start.
For use on all V-twin motorcycles, including Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle engines during assembly or rebuild.
Assembly lube is applied to critical engine surfaces before startup to protect them during the critical first moments before oil pressure builds. Use it during engine assembly or rebuild.
No — Red Line's formula is designed not to plug filters after initial engine start, unlike other assembly greases that can restrict oil flow.
Apply to camshafts, lifters, pushrods, piston skirts, main and rod bearings, and bolt threads before engine assembly.
Yes — it's formulated for all V-twin motorcycle engines, including Harley and Indian models.
