Nearing 40k miles on my 2018 Road Glide I was concerned with some of the issues the stock M8 was having. Conveniently this kit fixes everything that I was worried about and has the added bonus of 30HP and 10TQ. A superb kit. All inclusive except… (and not a real show stopper), read on —

Mostly bought this kit for the oil pump to avoid any problems with potential sumping issues but the old Harley battle cry “as long as we’re in there…” ruled in my case. Saw no downside to the 475 cam and wasn’t disappointed. New cam, cam plate, new lifters and adj pushrods, of course, and no warm fuzzies with the plastic lifter sleeves (not incl in this kit), so those went as well. No dyno to share as I went with a canned tune from FuelMoto on a DynoJet PowerVision and am autotuning. Butt dyno says good gains in hp and tq. Glad I did it. My only mild negative is that it wasn’t blasting me in the face that I needed a HD brand o-ring/gasket for the oil pump that they, for proprietary reasons, could not include. It may have been mentioned somewhere but I don’t recall seeing it. Not a big deal and certainly no reason to go elsewhere for a kit. This most excellent kit, except for said gasket, was otherwise all inclusive and I can’t recommend it too highly. Good job S&S. 2019 FLHXSE 117, oil cooled
