Nearing 40k miles on my 2018 Road Glide I was concerned with some of the issues the stock M8 was having. Conveniently this kit fixes everything that I was worried about and has the added bonus of 30HP and 10TQ. The 475 cam really woke up my 107" and you can feel the increase in acceleration power through all the gears but especially over 70MPH.<br />- Wiz IOMC <8> IOFFIO

Great kit with just about everything you need. Plenty of online tutorials to make it quite simple. Took me about 6hrs from start to finish, and I did it all in my front yard

The 475 cam really woke up my M8! More power and better sound the hardest thing to do ended up being removing and installing the exhaust. I highly recommend this.

Mostly bought this kit for the oil pump to avoid any problems with potential sumping issues but the old Harley battle cry “as long as we’re in there…” ruled in my case. Saw no downside to the 475 cam and wasn’t disappointed. New cam, cam plate, new lifters and adj pushrods, of course, and no warm fuzzies with the plastic lifter sleeves (not incl in this kit), so those went as well. No dyno to share as I went with a canned tune from FuelMoto on a DynoJet PowerVision and am autotuning. Butt dyno says good gains in hp and tq. Glad I did it. My only mild negative is that it wasn’t blasting me in the face that I needed a HD brand o-ring/gasket for the oil pump that they, for proprietary reasons, could not include. It may have been mentioned somewhere but I don’t recall seeing it. Not a big deal and certainly no reason to go elsewhere for a kit. This most excellent kit, except for said gasket, was otherwise all inclusive and I can’t recommend it too highly. Good job S&S. 2019 FLHXSE 117, oil cooled

Excellent cam
Excellent cam. My priority was sound over performance improvement but I received both. Bike sounds incredible with that classic loping idle.
This 475 cam chest kit was an upgrade that i was very impressed with. I have the Vance and Hines big radius pipes and was surprised on how it sounded after the installation. It sounds like a Harley should. Old school.

The chest cavity kit has all the upgraded parts your bike needs to have a long full life! I didn?t use the cam I opted for a different cam. The cam that comes in this kit is better suited in a built up bike not stock compression. That said I?m very happy with all the parts in this kit!!
Everything I was hoping for
Had this installed at my local Harley dealer into my 2024 heritage classic. After the stage 1 I had 83hp and 113tq and still didn’t have the sound I wanted. After this stage 2 the bike is putting out 107hp and 129tq and sounds amazing with a nice choppy idle. Just waiting on some warmer weather to try it out on the roads now.

It completely wakes the bike up!! Take your time and do it right.. If you’re not mechanically inclined, get someone else to do it. It does require some special tooling. <br /><br />Get it tuned though. I went a full year without a proper tune. I just rode with the map that Dynojet sent. What a difference!! Would I do it again? Hell yeah!

If you want a drag bike that flies after getting this kit, then get your bike Dyno tuned! Dyno Tuned bikes with this kit make 120+HP/125+TQ. But I've seen Harley dealers with SE Tuners somehow just make 110/120, like why bother taking it to them at that point?<br /><br />Fantastic Kit, fantastic Redline, Fantastic power, don't let a bad tune put this good equipment to waste! Had it for 2 years now, with over 15,000 miles, still runs strong! 5/5 Reliability score! Wish I could say the same for my friends with ScReAMiNG eAGLE kITs when some of there's are back to the dealer service after just 2K miles...

Best Upgrade for the Breakout 117!
Just installed the S&S 475 cam on my Breakout 117 - amazing upgrade! The throttle response and mid-range power are way better, and the sound is deeper with a nice lope at idle. After tuning, it runs smooth and strong through all gears. Perfect mix of power, sound, and reliability. Highly recommend! ???????

Feels like a new bike!
This 475 kit woke my M8 107 right up! <br />Paired with a ThunderMaxx tuner and Thunderheader exhaust, it feels like a whole different bike.
Incomplete instructions.
5 QR codes for the instructions, thankfully I have a printer. No instructions for proper adjustment of the pushrods, so had to go to S&S website to get that.

Road king Upgrade
This cam kit is awesome. Had it installed and then took it to DC V-Twin to have it tuned, the bike sounds great. Its like riding a different bike. 2017 Road King 107. dyno was 114HP and 121Lbs ft. of torque. Vance and Hines exhaust and air breather kit.
2023 RK Police
I don't feel like I can speak on the performance increase as I had this installed not long after I traded in my Fat Bob 103 to a Road King 114. But I can say the idle sounds amazing and when I need the power it's there!
Big improvement over stock, motor revs smoother and faster, valve train quieter, horsepower and torque where needed.

Installed this on my 2017 Street Glide and it has been a whole new bike. coupled with the S&S intake (a must in my opinion) my 107 with big radius vance and hines pipes made 107hp and 117 torque on the dino and the wheel. It is a very noticeable difference in ride quality as well. Highly recommended.

Absolutely awesome I got this for my 23 low rider s with a propipe 2 into 1. First off absolutely made the bike louder and the sounds just absolutely rumbles which is awesome, and gave it way more power and feels like a new bike. I was slightly worried about reading that people have noticed engine bog at slower speeds and there is a slight difference buts it's really not a thing overall I definitely would buy this
Best mod for the M8
Outstanding kit. Like mentioned by others, only needed an oil pump seal purchased separately for my 2018 heritage 114. After a proper dyno tune, its a whole new bike. The blandness of the stock M8 is gone. The bike rips now to redline and sounds even better! Made 114/125 with v&h Longshots and stock air cleaner. Highly recommended for every M8.

Check your parts
It came with the new style oil pump that uses an o-ring on the back. But no o-ring was included. <br />So I was disappointed about that.
