Excellent upgrade over stock! The low hot idle stock system oil pressure(4 lbs)was always a concern for me. This system alleviated that concern. <br />After upgrade:<br />Cold riding oil pressure is 40 lbs. Hot riding oil pressure is 34lbs. Cold idle oil pressure is 32 lbs. Hot idle oil pressure is 26 lbs.
I have this set up on both of my 103 bikes and have good oil pressure at all temps.

Works as it should - Far superior to the stock version
Good quality... not impressed with oil pump. At idle it appears to be under sized. not enough pressure/volume which makes valve train rattle some (new lifters, pushrods, and cam). Anything above 1500rpm works fine. Pressure is spot on at 30lbs.

Oil Pump Cam Support Plate
Excellent item. The difference is very noticeable against the Harley counterpart. Is a beautiful piece on its own. I notice the bike runs less hotter.

Just by touch and feel I can tell this is substantially higher quality than the stock Harley one.
My last 6 engines have used both of these products and we've yet to have any failures on either of the S&S cam chest or the high volume oil pump.

Very nice product,fit and finish looks like show piece products even though no one will ever see them. Seems to be doing a great job keeping my bike well lubricated.
You get what you pay for.
Quality, direct replacement for the stock system. Cam and pinion holes have brass bushings which will wear instead of the cam plate itself. Outstanding oil pressure at idle. Would definitely recommend for anyone doing a cam swap or overhaul. 2012 ultra classic 103.

Had second thoughts about replacing cam plate cause of many forms read that many builders use original cam plate n pump. Well the pump was a no brainer for me go from two stage too a three stage oil pump and more forgiving about run out. The cam plate had remorse about until pulled my 16 103 with 980 Miles apart to replace cams and had burnt oil around the rear cam gernal in the factory cam plate. The oil was black and smelt burnt about a 1/4 ounce but on continuous cycle not good in my mind and lost all remorse about replacement cam plate. <br /> Replaced cams,lifters,push rods,oil pump,and cam plate with all S&S
