So happy I installed this kit - it completely changed my bike in both sound and performance. Once the engine is out of the frame the install is a piece of cake, but there is a significant amount of work needed to get there. There is no room to install this on a sporty with engine in frame, so be prepared to pull it out.
Hello everyone I have a 2015 iron 883 that I did the upgrade on. The instructions werent good honestly but there is a video on YouTube that is 4 parts and walks you through everything I followed it and had no problems. The upgrade really wasnt very hard and with the videos I would do it again if I had too. In Az I was quoted about 1k just for the install. One thing Ill add the kit doesnt come with a cam cover gasket which you might want to get and it also doesnt come with any rocker box gaskets, those parts all come off so you might wanna think about replacing them as well I did. But so far its a very big difference in power I love it dont regret it one bit!
This kit is awesome, it completely transformed my bike. With a two brothers 2 into 1, and performance Machine air intake and a dynojet power vision we achieved 83 hp., highly recommended and very easy instalation.
Really went back and forth about this and the hammer. I choose this and i stand by it but still wonder what the hammer kit would have brought to the table. Over all iv had this S&S for a month and love it. Big gains.
100% satisfied with this purchase. Installed along with a BDL High Performance Extra Clutch Kit. Definitely a throatier sound through my Bassani 2-1 exhaust and you can feel the power. It just wants to go!<br /><br />I was also between this and Hammer. After considering what I was getting for the money, and what my goals were, I decided on this kit.<br /><br />Installation was (as Lemy would say) a 2 bearder for me. There are some special tools you?ll need, but overall, was pretty easy. I took my time and completed in about 30 hours over 5 days.
Installed but tuner won’t flash but tried cranking it and I could hear the potential!
