Amazing exhaust, order came fast, all parts were in the order service doesnt get any better, thanks ,Steddie
Loud pipes
Took the slip on off, put a 10"" turnout tip on to direct exhaust away from my saddle bags. Loud as #@$%, best sound ever! I bought the same pipes for a previous bike. The price 4 yrs ago was $850. Now, the same pipes are $1329. WTF? Evens, best 2 to 1 pipes out there.
Thumbs up
Solid product, replaced a corroded Vance and Hines with this. Only issue was the rear hangar since it was not the stock exhaust. Was able to rework the bracket. Called S&S and they were great!
Great product!
It looks great on the bike and sounds even better. Only downside was i didnt recieve exhast gaskets. But other than that its great!
What a great system well worth the money horsepower and torque numbers are gonna be great
looks good, sounds good.
The whole project went good exhaust came with all the parts need it and it went together beautifully excellent work S&S
Sounds great, torque improved. Wish the picture on site showed the laser etched "Race Only" disclaimer. Depending on your state may create problems.
2009 Road King Classic
After all of the research and many many different options I believe I made the right choice. This S&S 2 into 1 exhaust system (Sidewinder) is everything I had hoped for, it’s deep rich sound, perfectly chromed, ease of installation and the way it looks on my bike was beyond expectations. I highly recommend this exhaust if you’re looking for a true 2 into 1 system , You won’t be disappointed
Love the sound of this exhaust system. Get on the gas and it really comes to life performance increase for sure.
S & S Cycle stainless steal 2 into 1 pipes
I live in New Mexico so I didn’t use the db reducer. 2008 Street Glide. Easy install. If yours is all stock, you’ll need the 12 mm plugs. Sounds great. I’m going to install a Hines FuelPak 4 before I take it on the road. I had black headers and Vance and Hines slip-on’s before but these crome 2 into 1 stainless pipes really look great!
The best all around
This is my second bike I've out this exhaust and I still love it. It's a decent rumble at idle, quiet at cruising, but BARKS loud when you get on it. It triggers the intercom a lot so I put the decibel reducer in when going cross country. It drops the usable torque down low so it performs amazing off-idle. The chrome is like all SS chrome, thick, durable, and wicked shiny.
Good Fit, Finish, and Sound
Fit, finish, and sound is good. I gave 4 stars because I had to order more parts to install them, and the instructions are garbage. Thank God for YouTube. These have 4 bungs, 2 18mm and 2 12mm, and only included plugs for the 18mm bungs. If you have wide-band O2 sensors, you’ll have to buy 12mm plugs. It also included several bolts that are not needed.
Nice pipe that fits well and looks good. My road glide doesn't sound like it has asthma anymore! I highly recommend the Milwaukee twins flange kit for installation. Seems to be running fine. I have a programmer on it. Should I get it retuned?
Solid product. Sounds great.
Solid product. Only down side is they expect you to reuse your old header flanges. And some mounting hardware. Othe than that pretty easy install. My header stud broke and we had to put a new one in and drill out the hole where it broke. So a 2 hour job took 2 afternoons. But that's a me problem. . just be ready because I hear it happens a lot and it'll turn a $400 job in the shop into a $1500 job when they want to pull the head to drill in a drill press.
The pipe sounds amazing compared to the stock. It's loud without being too loud. Don't forget you'll need to tune it after. I use V&H FP4 and it works decently.
Fit and finish is very good, no defects in the chrome that I can see. All installation hardware was included. Packaging was fantastic.
Two notes about installation instructions:
1. The picture showing which direction to install the heat shield clamps makes no sense
2. You need to put the stove bolt in the transmission mount BEFORE you put the mount on the trans, not enough room after.
Otherwise, nice product
Sidewinder exhaust is awesome, very happy with my purchase through j@p cycle
Love this exhaust. Deep low rumble but rips when you open er up. Cit and finish are excellent except for the shipping damage which we are still working out. Absolutely a great performance exhaust.
Awesome Exhaust.
Install wasn't bad considering it was the first time I had ever changed out an exhaust.
Sounds incredible!
Low rumble at idle and cruise speeds and sounds amazing and loud at acceleration!
Fast shipping. Product is top notch in finish and quality. Sounds great with the baffle in and the bike likes it. Comes with the adapters for smaller O2 sensors but does NOT come with plugs if your bike doesn't have O2 sensors. I installed the side reducers and plugged the smaller holes with M12 bolts with some anti-sieze on em so I can remove them when I update the FI system.
Sounds awesome. It’s a real head turner easy install great performance
The fit and finish was perfect. The sound is that great loud Harley sound I was looking for.
Nice setup but was damaged
Look well made and should solve problem of crossover bracket attached to starter breaking. only problem was they didn't come with the plug for oxygen sensor. Had to buy them separate as my bikes carbed.
Excellent Product, I put this on my 2016 Street Glide. Looks Great!! Sounds Great!! Performs as expected..
been able to ride the bike yet, but it sounds great. installation was no problem just follow instructions
The customer who's Road King that I mounted the S&S Sidewinder too was ecstatic with the results. He got the full throat-ed sound he wanted, with rich chrome plating and perfect fit to his '07 96" twin cam. No re-tuning was needed.
Great quality easy install and it sounds amazing
Awesome sounds great and makes power
I love these pipes
These pipes were part of a 2012 RG 103 bike build I was doing which included cams, AC and tuner, I love these pipes, I like them more thn my Pro pipes on my Ultra
The fit up is good, the pipe is resting against the swing arm. I’ll have to fix that. Sounds good, haven’t ridden the bike yet.
