Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my Harley with aftermarket handlebars?

This cable is designed for stock handlebar routing. Aftermarket bars may require a different length or cable style — measure before ordering.

What do the snap-in connectors attach to?

One end snaps into the throttle body on the engine; the other connects to the throttle grip assembly at the handlebar.

Is this the right cable for the right (far) side?

No — this is for close (left) side routing only. Right-side applications require a different part number.

Do I need both cables, or just one?

Stock Harley routing typically uses two cables (close and far side). This part number covers the close side; order separately for the far side if needed.

Not at all worth it

Bought this for my 2003 ultra classic...s&s 97" big bore kit, s&s 510 cam, s&s 2-1 sidewinder, and ness big sucker. After countless attempts with different maps and 800 plus miles, bike still runs poorly, dies at stops and cannot idle properly, I know this may have worked for a lot of people, for myself, it has not worked at all it's the same as a v&h fuelpak. Bike overheats and throttle response is terrible. We've even swapped out parts and it always did the same thing. Put my old tuner on and bike starts, idles, and runs perfectly.
