Good quality with a couple of fiddly bits

Good quality helmet. Upgraded from a strada 2 and build quality feels a+ compared. The fit was great out of the box and the padding feels quality. It's lightweight and minimal buffeting up to 65-70 on a sport bike. Wind noise seems fine, with earplugs almost non existent. The included pin lock insert and smoke visor are a really nice touch as well.

The cons, my first one came broken for the face shield lock. The release button is kind of fiddly and seems to be made of thin plastic and might be prone to breakage. The tab is also not very proud so if you have thicker gloves on it can be a little annoying to get the visor up if locked. Similar complaint with the drop down slider, it's in a different spot than in used to as well leading to a little bit of searching. I installed a cardo packtalk edge on it fairly seamlessly. The padding comes out nice and easy but was a little tedious getting it all reinstalled correctly. There is also a point of confusion. There's a rubber cap with a Bluetooth logo that I thought would be perfect for running the cables, but it's solid inside. There's no passthrough like I thought the was. I'm not sure the intended use for this and haven't been able to figure it out.

As my first foray into higher end helmets, I like what I got. I'd recommend for someone looking for an upgrade to the current helmet but wants some more premium features while staying under 700$.

Good value, comfy helmet

I'm a Shoei guy, but the lack of ECE and/or Snell ratings on their touring helmets had me looking elsewhere.
I put a few miles on this helmet and I'm pleasantly surprised. It is very comfortable. Both lightweight and quiet. Intermediate oval as promised. The visor and sunshade are clear. It seems to fog up a bit in the rain, but I cracked open by visor to let some air in at low speeds. In fairness, I had the chin curtain on, which does keep air out, that didn't help with fogging. Scorpion does provide a pinlock, anyways - along with a tinted visor. You certainly get a lot with this helmet.

The DOT & ECE rting is fantastic!

I couldn't care less about the air pump thingy. It seems a bit gimmicky.

A major downside is the stupid port for their own comms unit. Who cares? Most will use a Cardo or Sena anyways. You can't run wires through the port hole. I had to use the Cardo adhesive mount , since the clamp style couldn't fit well. The curvature of the helmet is a little much and I hope it holds. I put the adhesive mount over the port, since there isn't much room. It was frustrating!

Some of the issues ventilation, but lack of comms support (other manufacturers have made it easy to add Cardo or Sena comms) in favor of their own brand (again, nobody cares about your own Scorpion brand of comms), knocks this down to 3 stars.

Helmet looks nice. So uncomfortable to ride in though. It is not too tight, but feels like the majority of the weight rests on my forehead. Not cushioned properly so becomes painful after about 15 mins. I was hoping after wearing more, it would break in but has not gotten better. Have to resort to using one of my old helmets.
