Good for a short ride only (for me)

Personally for me, this did not work out. While exactly the right fit around the crown of the head (58cm = Medium), about an inch above that in the forehead (vent area) it has hotspots while riding in my case. It's almost like the shell is raked back too steep above the forehead and hitting there only. Also the bottom of the pinlock shield, along with nose vent guard, and drop down shield edge, together all conspired, to block the direct view of my gps. In specifications and quick in-home try on it feels great, however 8 hours on the road make this lid unusable for me. Noise was average, in my case, no complaints on that. Also, internal shield slider and main shield center lift button are a bit small for insulated gloves to intuitively find. On the other hand, it's a great value if it fits right for you, and if I did not have the hotspot issue, I would probably be keeping it around.

Helmet saved my life

this helmet was phenomenal for me before i got into an accident. fit my head shape well cheek pads can feel a little lose at times but the helmet comes with an air pump system the lets you inflate them a bit to compensate which is nice. got into a accident the day of writing this review, in which i ended up going head first into the ground and sliding into a metal pole. no injuries to my head or anywhere and the only damage to the Helmet was the the visor(which slid on the concrete for about teen feet @70 mph) and the top of it where i made contact with the pole(couldn't even tell that the pole was what stopped me either bc of the pads in the helmet. to be fair i had already slowed down quite the bit before hitting the pole but you get the point). I would absolutely recommend.

p.s. also comes with a clear and tinted visor which is always nice and even if you don't want the main tinted visor you can always sure the secondary one that's built into the helmet with the switch on the side.
