handles great way better than the dunlop...wish i had replace the front as well $ money prevented it the first time
cornering is great the dunlop had a real edgy feel the shinko rolls easily and is predictable laying it over ..i dont ride my harley like most harley guys do ...i am an ex racer and drag my pegs all the time<br />craig
Totally Awesome tire!
I purchase this tire at the mid Winter time frame 2014. I have ran daily a average of 200 miles minimum on the 777's. We are just pass the August 2015 time and the Summer heat has just started showing wear on the center of the tire treads and the sides are still great. I ride two up and Solo but my wife loves the comfort of the Shinko 777. I will be replacing them before Fall of this year. No more overpriced road gear for me. I highly recommend this tire set for you Hog. Best of luck and keep the rubber side down.
Great look and value
You can spend more on better known brands but I consider it money wasted. My experience with Shinko tires has been great. I've had 777's on past bikes and I now have a 777 front tire and 230 Tour Master rear tire on my VTX 1300R. Great ride and the tread life is as long or longer than other brands.
Great tire at a great price.
This tire is very sticky. It grips the road and just doesn't let go. Before buying this one I would burn out and drift out of a dead stop - now it's all pull! It's given me great cofidence to corner canoeing that it's about as grippy as it gets.
An inexpensive grippy tire
I bought these as a lot of reviews said these were very grippy and they are much more so than my bridgestones I had on the bike since new. My old tires lasted over 8K with plenty of tread left but I didn't feel secure on them, these however they do NOT want to let go of the road. I have a lot more faith in these tires. I can't speak for the traction while wet or tread life but I'd imagine that the tread life will be less but the grip in wet weather will be more than adequate.
great value
Really fair price and has never exhibited any shortcomings in wet or dry grip, just put on my fourth set.
Great rain tire!!!!
My mechanic loves these tires, I love these tires. I recommend any wondering to give them a GO!!!
Very good quality!
Have use these tires before. Never a problem. Live in very dry state.Works good in dry sand on roads. Wears out before dry rotting. Never slipped in oil at intersection either!<br />Will rercomend to anyone looking for a good, reasonable priced tire!
Definitely going to buy a third one
This is my second tire its great they ride smooth they stay balanced they wear good. The best part is the price and the reliability .
High quality, low price
Been using Shinko tires on my bikes for over 9 years now. Ridden when it's freezing and over 100º, in the pouring rain I shouldn't have been walking in. Tires gripped great in all conditions. May wear a little faster than the brands twice their price, but would still highly recommend this brand.
Fast shipping great price smooth ride
WAY BETTER THAN DUNLOP
MORE MILEAGE OUT OF THIS TIRE THAN ANY DUNLOP TIRE
sidewall dry rot less than 500 miles
I purchased this SR777 HD its a 140/80 B16 MC77h for my Harley at action motor sports in Tulsa Oklahoma less than a year ago. I have barely ridden since it was right before winter. The dealer wont respond to my questions and Shinko does not either. The dry rot is extensive. I thought I was buying a quality product. I never meant for my purchase to put my life in jeopardy. It has...with total silence at the other end..I have been beat out of my money as well...Thanks Shinko..for nothing.
It doesnt last as long as others but,it has great grip and for me thats what I need living in the mountains ??!
Great tires for the price!
I was a little hesitant to buy these instead of the usual metzler's I get but it turned out to work great! Sticks well to the road, I will have to see how long tread lasts
Shinko Tire!
So far so good...feels grippy on the road and planted in the turns. Can't complain, especially for the price!
Good tire for the money
So far I'm liking the new tires I have put a little over a thousand miles on them and they seem to be doing well
Excellent traction use this tire on my Harley Davidson Road King handles great
15,000 miles
I am riding a 1982 GS650G this bike has a fairing and hard bag's this last weekend heading back from a 600 mile trip I rolled across the scales at 800lbs I have had an Avon and 2 other shinko tires on this bike only got 5-8 thousand miles out of any of them I was suprised and checked the millage 14,786 miles it was worn to the nubs I probably could have gotten another 1000 or so miles out of the other tires this time rain was not going to be a problem so I rode her to the nubs with winter rains coming was time .
I will buy again an again as you win out for pricing an wear...wish all name brands would follow your business model
So my new from factory harley davidson Scorcher did not make 7000 miles...the front is at replacement time an that under 10,000...so high dollar does not mean more miles...wear from the ride on my roads is not controlled wear...low dollar that takes the ride day in an out is what I pay for not a name....shinko tires for the price give me the most for my dollar....
Excellent value tire
Only have about 100 miles on these tires, but very pleased so far. Not sure how long they will last, but at the price point, I could buy two sets for the price of other tires on the market, so except for the hassle of possibly having them changed more frequently, I'm happy with them. Can't vouch for tread life or wet traction with so few miles on them.
Great Tire for a great price.
With all the overpriced tires out there, it's refreshing to find a sensibly priced, quality tire!
Great price, so far so good.
The tire is on the front of my Victory. With 1500 miles it is wearing evenly, behaves at freeway speeds and is working well. I'm not a performance rider and for my style the tire does everything I want. I'll buy another Shinko when the time comes if I get reasonable mileage from it.
Grip? yes - long life? not as much.
These Shinko tires offer up great grip. But there is a cost for that traction .... less life. <br />If you want a sticky tire that will hold the road , these will certainly meet that mark. But if youre looking for a tire that will last and last and last.... this aint it. <br />I got about 3500 miles out of mine on the back of an older Dyna. No burnouts, but an occasional aggressive clutch dump to get things going quickly. <br />I am a fan of grippy tires. I dont want to worry about the only thing that is holding me to the road. So I would buy these again, even with the shorter lifespan.
Great purchase
Great sticky tire for the money
My new rear tire
So... I dont know about tread life. I just put it on. I'm in Florida, and roads are hot and course. So we will see on that one. I ride real hard and Shinko tires have been good to me. They grip well, no matter how much I try to lay down in turns and lane changes. I put'em on myself and off I go. I ride about 75 to 85 constant. They have not let me down yet. Also...I get 3 rear tires to 1 front. I'll pay that price all year long. My last tire I got about a year out of it. That's 60 miles a day at an average of 70mph. So go gett'em and see for yourself. What's the cost of one tire to see if it's all you need....and just saying....this is all truth !! Vvrroooomin baby !!
Shinko 777
Excellent tire for the price!!!!
GOOD TIRE
Best bang for the buck!! I've only had this tire on for about 300 miles... but here in Texas, we've had rain, freezing temps, and damn near summer type weather in December, and this tire has performed just great. definitely an upgrade from the stock tires.
Great so far. Only 100 miles yet. Update to follow as the miles wear on.
These are the cheapest cruiser tires you can get. I heard a youtuber say Shinko bought Yokohama's motor cycle tire tech and molds. We'll see. So far I love them and they seem to be a great deal.
Excellent price and grip!
Can't beat the price. The grip is perfect for my riding style and I received the tires extremely wuick after I placed the order!
Really good tires!
Only had these tires for a few weeks. Don't know about tread life. It is an outstanding tire overall. Better than Dunlops for sure.
sticky and cheap
literally the magic ingredient fpr wheelies on your harley davidson
Good overall tire
Bought a set of these 777 HD tires for a Harley Sportster. Great grip right away. Took them on a 1K mile trip and they seem to be holding up just fine but can't know the overall tread life quite yet. A comfortable riding tire that has plenty of grip and is definitely worth the lower price point compared to similar tires by other sellers.
Good tires, great price
I bought my Yamaha Cruiser 2nd hand and they came with Shinko tires - of which I never heard of before. I got over 14,000 miles out of the rear tire and the front looks pretty good. Along with a cross country trip and many other rides, I have been impressed so when I needed another rear tire, I bought the same brand. No disappointments.
They are awsome great tread and nice smooth ride
Good Tire, Great Price
Still too early to tell tread life. Grip is great (running these on a 2005 Shadow and 2014 Electra Glide). Grip doesn't compare to sportsbikes, but does well in dry and wet condition.<br />Features are pretty stream line with the typical tire.<br /><br />I like the range of sizes. I was looking for a set of Front and Back for the Shadows, and found they also come in sizes for my Electra Glide. My wife and I have matching tires now.
Exactly what I wanted
I got this for my rear tire after the very expensive Dunlop I had made it 8k miles before seeing cord. I'm at 8k on this and just about to reach the wear bar. Sidewall was too tough for this newbie to put on for my first attempt at changing my own tire by hand, but if you have a setup for it, you'll be fine. I just got my second tire. I love the price and the mileage. It's never failed to give me traction, even in 25 degree weather. I commute to work every morning, so most of my travel is 70mph or higher in a straight line though. Harley XL1200CX for the bike. Get this. You will be amazed at how well so little money was spent.
A lot better and cheaper than the stock tires.
I bought these to replace the dunlop stock tires on my 08 sportster. They are higher quality and have a larger load rating. Only problem is the Harley Dealership won't install tires they don't buy so you will have to find someone else to install them.
Great
This tire is all I wanted Plus and at a great price! A+
Great so far
I have a Road Star and have gone with the OEM Bridgestones since I've owned it. A friend tried the Shinko and liked them so for the price, I thought I would give them a try. So far I have 200 miles on them but I noticed right away how well the bike handled. I don't know if it was the front was worn that bad or the Shinko is that good but the bike corners easier now with less effort. Haven't been in the rain yet and we'll see about tread life but so far the ride, handling and grip are excellent.
Tough enough for Sin City, means they're tough enough for me.
This will be my 3rd set of the 777's. What you get out of these tires, far exceeds what you might expect, for the price you pay. I live in the unforgiving heat of Las Vegas, and these are what get me around day in and day out, 365.
09 EG Classic
Happy with mileage, comfort, performance AND value. If the higher end brands are out of reach$$ these are plenty good! Wish they made a thin whitewall for my sizes. Yes, these are good, safe tires for my 09 Electra Glide Classic.
This is the 3rd Shinko tire I've purchased and I am satisfied with the quality. They appear to be an acceptable tire at an affordable price. And they're not Chinese!
Not for heavy motorcycles
These tires are not for a touring platform motorcycle. The sidewalls are too soft and would cause bad rear sway at interstate speeds. They also get terrible mileage, 4000 miles and first one wore out. Replaced tire and second tire rear sway was even worse than the first tire. Could barely get over 60 when you could start feeling it sway back n forth. I went back to Dunlop 402 and now the bike rides like it should.
I?ll buy another one..
7500 miles out of the last one of these on a 2009 Road King. Sometimes with two passengers, but mostly with just me. Never gave me grief, I never felt it slide, and it felt better than the last competing tire that I had on there over the tar snakes in the summer.
Not so good
Used Shinko 777?s on a Sportster years ago and they were decent. Decided to try them on my Street Glide when it was time to replace the tires. Front end had a terrible wobble in it. I?m fairly certain it?s the tire. While replacing the Shinko, I noticed cracks along the tread. Also noticed cracking on the sidewall. Tire was dated 4921 and I installed it some time in April of 22.
Okay but you get what you pay for. I prefer to save money elsewhere.
Decent tires but you get what you pay for. Ive been riding for 30 years and wanted to share my humble opinion on these tires. <br />1) Price - most reviews of this tire talk about the price and it is less than Dunlop and Michelin for sure. My experience is that wear is equally / more important because the labor to put them on goes up if the wear is not as long and you have to replace them more often. I used to change my own tires, but I take them to the shop now... <br />2) Wear - after 5,000 miles they are showing definitely signs of wear. This is disappointing as my last pair of Dunlops lasted 12k. I doubt these will last 9k. <br />3) Compound - they are considerably softer compound than the Dunlops / Michelin which gives them a better feel when cold, but once hot (in the twists) they start to feel a little "mushy". This is a tradeoff. Also worth noting, in my experience softer compounds tend to pick up more road debris and seem to be more susceptible to punctures / flats.<br />4) Profile - The profile rounder than the Dunlops which makes the steering feel slower. They do not tip into the corners as nicely. <br />5) Construction - Not as stiff of a sidewall as the Dunlop and way less stiff than the Michelin. This is really noticeable two up with luggage wear they start to flex a little too much. I do not like them at all two up with bags. <br /><br />Verdict - when these are done, I am switching back to American Elites which cost the same at my local tire shop as they do online (so I don't have to make two trips / making the process easier).
Tires Ride Great
Tires newly installed on 06 FLTRI. I've got about 150 miles on them and what a welcome difference! Had to let my Marathons go due to age even though not worn out and decided since I was not putting enough miles on my tires to wear them out before they over-aged, why not spend less? The Shinkos are perfect for this. Didn't break the bank; didn't need super high performance capabilities. I ride easy but I want quality and the Shinkos fit the bill. Steering vibration on curves? Gone. Hard ride from older tires? Gone. Gripping issues? Gone.
Shinko makes good tires. Period.
I've been running Shinko tires for years on several bikes. Started with the 244's on my KLR650, Ravens on my Concours14, Verge and 777's on my K1200LT and the 777's on my Heritage and several sets of 705s on my Vstroms. I've never had a single issue with any of them and I have at least 50K miles total on all these tires, at least 50K. Shinko's are very good tires, the only *possible* downside is that they are 6000 mile rear tires. I change and balance my own tires and these are always easy to balance with the Red dot on them. I know there are better tires out there, Michelin's are better quality, I suspect, but I've never had a single Shinko delaminate, feel sketchy in the wet or cold, had any that tracked weird. Like all tires inflation is key and I had some 705's that cup, but that's because I was running 5000+ miles on an overloaded bike (DL650) on a long trip and the tire was under inflated, so my fault. There are reviews out there that would make you think Shinko's are bad tires, but in my 10+ years of running them I have nothing bad to say, quite the opposite. I'll keep buying them!
It seems to be a good tire. This is my 3rd one. The last one went almost 10,000 miles on my Honda Shadow 750. Good value too.
QUALITY TIRES AT A GREAT PRICE.
I AM A DAILY RIDER AND I USED TO ONLY BUY THE COMMANDER II's FOR MY FXDL. I WAS ON A BUDGET AND NEEDED TIRES IN A BAD WAY. I FOUND THE SHINKO 777 ON SALE AND DECIDED TO TRY THEM OUT. THEY TURNED OUT TO BE A QUALITY TIRE, JUST AS GOOD AS THE COMMANDER II. THEY PREFORM AND LAST JUST AS LONG FOR WAY LESS. NOW THIS IS MY GO TO FOR TIRES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TIRE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A QUALITY TIRES AT A GREAT PRICE.
good quality, lasted for a long time, good traction
good quality, lasted for a long time, good traction
Why spend more?
Running my second rear tire of Shinko 777's , on my v star 1300. First one got over 8000 miles and the front tire is still running with lots of tread left. They really perform well and stick when I take a hard corner. When myfriends brag about ther $180 tires I just smile.
great for a short time
sticky tire in all conditions but wears fast
Awesome tires!
My brother has used this brand of tires for some time now, he told me how good they were and every time he has received tires from rezilla they were perfect from shipping, well packaged. I love the way they handle and grip. Great bang for the buck!!
Very happy with what I have
For the money I like the tire. The bike handles well with it and so I am happy
No Operation Issues, good grip, low milage
Replaced rear Michelin Commander II on Yamaha V Star 1300 Touring in January 2018. Tire operates smooth and quite with no problems and good grip. Based in Houston, TX rode to Bolder CO in May in temperatures from 28 to 95 degrees with no problems on 3000 plus mile trip. Tire now has 4000 miles and tread is gone. Buy better mileage tire for touring.
Great
I like it. Bike handles better. Great price
Purchased these tires but when I took them in the tires were so unbalanced they couldnt be mounted, very upset with the quality
Pick me pick me ????
Good tire so far rides and handles good on the road king
These are inexpensive tires. They are the best bang for your buck. This is my third set on my bike and I really like them. As with any tire the mileage you get out of them all depends on your style of riding.
Shinto 777hd
Bought the 777hd 80/90-21 for the front of my sportster I like the look, rides good so far seems to be a good tire
Probbably the best tire for a cruiser
I run these on my sportster and absolutely love them! My front tire lasted me a respectable 15,000 miles, probably could have stretched it longer, but I'm picky about my tires.<br /><br />The rear tires last between 2,000-5,000 miles depending on how much hooligan antics I get into.<br /><br />The rubber compound grips incredibly well in all conditions, dry pavement, wet pavement, cold winter days, blasts down a fire road, or short jaunts in the woods.<br /><br />For as long as they make this tire I will continue to buy it.
Good budget tire
So far so good. For the cost of the tire i don't have high expectations for tread life but 4k and counting and it still looks new.
If you are in a financial pinch and need a rear tire, then consider the Shinko 777.
Size purchased: 150/80-16<br /><br />My ONLY complaint about this tire is the tread life span. I got less than 7K out of the rear, and I ride a heavy Harley Ultra. The rear looked good up to the last 2K, then it wore down quickly.<br /><br />I bought them at a time when money was tight and I needed a rear tire. Under this circumstance I do believe it was a good purchase. The tire rode well, cornered well and stuck in corners. I found I had to add 7lbs more of air to give it a better feel.<br /><br />Obviously the last 2K were less than stellar. It rode rough and was a less than inspiring on some surfaces, however the same can be said of ALL tires when they are worn out.<br /><br />Now that I am doing better financially I plan to replace it with a Michelin Commander II.<br /><br />2006 Harley Davidson CVO Ultra
Shinko 777 HD
So far, so good, good manufacturing date on tire. Was installed and drove on seams to be doing well. Cannot give you the mileage life or traction because it hasn't been on bike long enough..
Good handling, but fast wear
I put a pair of these on my 18 fat boy. They handle good and stick to the road. The reason for the 2 stars is that the rear tire is almost toast at 2000 miles. I ride hard, but never do burnouts or anything like that and the center is almost gone. The front is still ok though.
Have bought Dunlop tires for my Harley sportster for years. Decided to change it up. These tires grip the road so much better. Glad I decided to change it up
Been running Shinko for years. To me they're the best wear and tear for my money. Recommend street tires from Shinko always. They do my vtx's very well
Good tires
The ride is smooth and the grip is tight, but kind of a pain to balance. Just like your mom.
Not for any big bike
The tire is NOT WEIGHT RATED for heavier models. Basically only a Sportster or an Indian Scout should have this tire mounted. Check your weight rating or go to a reputable bricks and mortar shop for advice. In addition to the safety issue, the milage on this tire is not good. After you factor in the cost to have two of these mounted... you are better off with a higher quality tire.
Great Traction
Easy to install. The Shinko 777 is the stickiest tire on the market. The downside is it has a short treadlife. The are inexpensive and easy to change so I choose traction over longevity. I an happy with the tires.
good price and speedy delivery and hope will last like the last one i had on my bike
Cruising tires
Great tires 10 out of 10 would recommend definitely will be buying another set when it’s time.
Great upgrade for indian scout
So far so good, once I got them on there was an immediate difference from the kendas that come stock on my indian scout sixty those kendas are honestly horrible especially when it's wet but these even with only 50 miles so far feel more grippy and responsive will update later if something changes.
Great riding tire for a great price.
Game Changer
I've just gotten my bike back from having my 777's mounted, it's been raining all day, the roads are wet for the first time since spring and I felt like I was glued to the road. These are easily the grippiest tires I've ever ridden.
Shinko tire
The tire seems like a perfectly good tire, but the 160/70-17 avon tire that I built my rear fender around has a different profile. Looking at them side by side the shinko is taller and more narrow than the avon. So I'll be going back to the avon
Bought for sturgis trip
Purchased for the sturgis trip and figured if I'm gonna run 4500 miles in a few days and wear half the life out might as well get a cheap tire and replace it when I get back. Man I'm surprised hardly any wear and no issued running 90 on the interstate in South dakota. 22 roadglide.
DO NOT BUY
TERRIBLE right side wobbles on 2021 Harley Davidson Fatboy, bought the tires 5/23 and only had the bike on the road a handful times since installation , insane amount of wobble took the bike back to the shop, checked the balance everything fine "maybe just need to be broken in" well 300 miles on the tire it wobbles shop finally figured out it's a bad tire .
A++++
Great tire!!! Great value!!! All around great quality
Economical choice
Have only gone up road so far but from an economical stand point they seem like a good alternative to the HD standard dunlops, good feel to them handling wise good grip smooth feel. Have them front & rear on an 11 Harley softail.
Good Option for a Cruiser.
Was riding on D404s tried these and right away i noticed a huge improvement with control in turns in parking-lots and at high speeds. The bike is not designed for high speed curves or turns but with these tires I felt the bike easier in the lean and cornering far smoother. At long cruising speeds: smooth, quiet, and confident. Slower speeds I have far better control especially at stops and goes. I used to feel the front tire slip on higher speeds with the D404 to the point at normal speeds I was slowing down on 55+ curves and turns. Not any more. Lean turn and go.
Good set of affordable tires.
Great tires. Second pair and they gave me about 15k miles. I'm happy with them.
Shinko 777 Cruiser Tires
Great tire. 2017 RGS loves it.
Dont buy unless you absolutely have to
Dont buy these unless you absolutely have to. I put them on as a temporary solution for a run I was going on, on my 2017 road glide anytime I got the bike above 75 mph the bike would start getting a sway I went through rechecking everything but no help the sway would keep coming back. I would not recommend.
Ignores tar snakes!
Seams to ignore tar snakes & cracks in the road, unlike the bald Dunlop.
They stick nice especially for getting caught in the rain all week
Overall a good tire, would recommend
Looking for some tires on a budget? Look no more Shinko 777s got your back.
Ive been use Dunlop for long time<br />For half the price great tire impressive no problem I was for street glide 2015 no problem at all I love it
Second set I have run on my Super Glide. handles well in wet or dry conditions. I would not consider it a performance tire but you are not paying for one either. I think its a lot of tire for the price.
A excellent tire for a heavy motorcycle
Excellent grip in dry or wet.<br />Have run from Tucson to Michigan, and back at very high speed (80+ mph most of the way) and the wear was minimal. After considering the price point, I'll never buy the recommended Bridgestones again.
Just put them on and I'm very happy with them.
When I got them the first thing I noticed was the softness of the tread. It was not to soft but did give nicely when I pushed a fingernail into it. I feel pretty confident that they will hold better in a hard lean. <br />I like the tread pattern as it looks like it will disperse water from the surface very well.<br />They also made the bike feel more nimble, but then that is usually the feeling I get when I replace worn tires.
Great in wet weather
Put a set of 777 on my sportster only have 500 miles on them but I was caught in a very hard thunderstorm with heavy rain the tires were awesome handle very well in dry and wet conditions I will be buying another set when these wear out
Excellent Tire for tgg hg e money
I put one of these Shinko 777s on the front of my 2014 Dyna Wide Glide and this tire has twice the grip of the scorcher that came on it. I will buy Shinko again.
What a difference!
Bought these for my 2015 Vulcan classic lt and I have been nothing but impressed! I dont know if I can say what brand I used previous to these but I got both of these tires for almost the price of one of the other brands. These tires are incredible I couldnt believe the difference it made in my bike! Stick to the road like glue wet or dry!
Just installed!
Just installed a set of the 777 series on my VS1400, they grip the road very well and do not seem to wonder like my last set of tires did! Great product can not wait to see how many miles the last for!
Fantastic value for the money.
Replaced a Dunlop D404 with the 777 up front. My V-Star 1300 has a Goodyear car tire our back, and this combo works really well together. Feels really stable, cornering, highway (Texas, so 75+ mph), wet or dry, the bike just feels great. Have worn the 777 on previous Vulcan 900's for thousands of happy miles, so expect no different now.
Much better now
I purchased the Shinko 777 to replace another tire I had on the front of my bike. My previous tire would follow the rain grooves in the highway in my area and cause dangerous shaking of my handlebars. Switching to the Shinko 777 eliminated the shaking and gives me much better handling and grip of the road.
pas mal
For the money these are very decent tire, as far as I can tell. They may not give you as good mileage as more expensive tires but they handle well. Smooth ride, great grip, handled a deluge @65 mph, No wobble, track like they're on a rail. I feel safe.
No down side for a cruiser
I have a 1987 Honda Super Magna, which is a muscle cruiser. It needs tires that won't immediately lose grip when romping on it, and hold their own in a corner. I'm pleased to say the 777s do both. Great grip in wet and dry, comfortable ride, and quiet!<br /><br />No downside at all!
Just as described
I did quite a bit of research before purchasing. I have them on my VTX 1300C and the fit is perfect. They look great and after 250 miles already they hold the curves at attention. Im an aggressive rider. My last Bike was a Hayabusa and I wish I had used the tires while I still had it. I will recommend this brand to all I ride with and discuss issues with the forums I follow. Thanks for the. Dry quick delivery. See you on the road i got to go exploring.
Great tires
Great tires, regardless of price. If you read into the company they took over a major tire companys plant and they are no different then a tire you would pay double for. They are consistent and reliable . Sometimes I think they wear a bit faster but that is just speculation !
Sticky as hell!
These tires are super sticky. And a fantastic price. Im going to be re ordering in the future
Tire ride was great but barley get 1500 miles and then it’s slick thru center only tread left is very outside edges
Shinko 777 was much wider than the stock tire on my dyna wide glide. Exactly what I wanted great vslue.
Pleased so far
So far so good. Only a few hundred miles but they feel like a huge improvement over the D404's they replaced.
The tire was exceptional value. Also my bike has driven much better since this tire was put on.
Fist time with a shinko
Recommend to anyone that does a lot of riding! Grips the pavement like glue and awesome tread life
I've only done 500 miles on them so early days yet. But so far I'm happy with the grip and they are not noisy.
Great tire for the price!
I highly recommend these tires if youre wanting a reliable tire for a great price. I run these on my wifes Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe and as long as I keep them properly inflated I usually get between 16k to 20k out of them.
Shinko 777 Cruiser tires
I put these tires on my 1982 xv750 Yamaha I've only ridden about two weeks on them, I have not ridden in the rain as of yet. So far I am very happy with them they give you a smooth ride and they feel like they have a good grip on the road. My past 3 Tire changes on this bike have been Dunlap d404 I like the ride of these tires much better then the dunlap's , and I'm not able to tell you how they wear. I've only written on these tires about 200 miles. Most likely I would buy them again
Im about 1000 miles into these tires and so far they are holding up great and they handle better than the stock tires. I will likely purchase these again when I need new rubber.
Really like this tire
I installed this tire on my 2004 Sportster custom. The bike feels much more agile and grippier and unlike with the stock Dunlops, the wheels will not follow roads ridges and defects. I coupled it with a Shinko 777 90/90/21 and I am very happy with the purchase.
Replacement for worn out factory original
This was a cheap purchase to replace the factory rear tire that shredded on my vstar 1300 in less than 4600 miles! We've had nothing but cold, wet, windy weather since installing the tire and I only have about 50 miles on it so I really cannot give a good review as I have not been able to ride my motorcycle due to the crappy weather! It does however help my bike ride smoother, corner and handle better as well as helping the speedo read more accurately! I will give another review on the tire towards the end of the riding season!
So far so good
Install went well, good edge grip and feel. Haven't put enough miles on it yet to write a full review. Shipped fast and on time delivery.
very good product with great value
Very good product and great service, delivery was quick and free.
Great bang for the buck.
I just purchased this set of tires. My local dealer could not even get within $50 of this price plus no tax or shipping. No brainer.<br /><br />It rides like a new bike.
Great tire for great price
I ordered this tire on a Tuesday and got it on Wednesday, great service! Just had it mounted so its too early to tell about the tire but it looks great and fit perfectly. Keep up the great work.
Great Price, looks great
It's still winter hear in Ohio so no miles on tire yet. Looks as good as any 200$ tire. Keep the air pressure good and any tire should last awhile. I never have any luck so 4-5k miles is all I usually get.
Best price I could find. Will buy again.
Had nearly 40,000 miles on the one I replaced, which is why I bought another one.
Love this tire
Everything about this tire is worth it. Have only had it on for about 3 weeks so cannot answer about tread life yet.Shipping was a faster than expected
Good tire
great price!
I have been running 777 tires on my 07 Boulevard. Haven't had any issues and them seem to do well. Drive my bike everyday to & from work, roughly 100 miles a day. My rear tire lasted a whole year before replacing. I can't remember when I replaced the front tire, so I'm getting pretty good mileage out of them.
So far, so good!
I've only had these for a couple weeks, but so far, they are performing just fine. The real factor for these was the price. They are way less expensive than anything else I could find. If they are at least as good as the average tire, they are totally worth it.<br /><br />Since I've only had them for a short time, and I live in the desert, I only gave 3/5 for tread life and wet traction. I have no reason to believe they are sub par in either category, but I also have no reason to believe they are exemplary either.
Excellent tires.
I purchased this brand and style for my Kawawaki 750 Vulcan and could not be more pleased with my choice. In the past I have had opportunities to ride on the other Shinko tires but I have to say the 777s are the best yet. Took some getting used to , but once I have figured out what to expect, I love them. Mounted both front and rear myself , lined the red dots on the sidewalls with the valve stem , removed all the old weights , inflated to the recommended pressure and they seem to ride very smooth compared to the previous tires. I have not had the opportunity to ride in wet weather to see how they handle nor enough miles for tread wear. I see neither being an issue based on what I have experienced so far. I will purchase this brand and model again.
Grippy
Holds tight like those grippy sock chicks
New front tire
Shinko 777 so far is a great tire at a great price.
Mine started seperating or cupping after 10month
I installed this tire june 2025 on my 08 fat bob and yesterday as i was riding down the interstate the front end started shaking so bad i thoght it was knocked out of round by one of those craters on 26 near 77 , when i slowed on the off ramp the bike felt off , i made a right turn and bout landed on ground , felt like i was steering on ice - check the photo out ! Sorta cupped sorta seperated !
Bad tires
Will never buy these again. Cheap. Put a set of these on the 2014 street glide. And now I have a bad wobble do not recommend
High speed wobble
Put a set of matching 777 Shinkos on my 2019 Street Glide. They have major high speed wobble. When contacting Shinko, they gave me a run-around for a week with 12 emails all to find out I have to go back to the place of purchase for warranty. Chalk it up as a loss, as I don’t have the time to deal with it…first and last purchase.
Fantastic!
Great tire so far. Got 2k miles on it and it's wearing evenly and has great traction. I would compare it based on performance to a Metzler 888, which I assume is the goal. Great product for the price!
Outstanding!
Great tire! you'll be happy with these tires. Feels like a new motorcycle. Just replaced my Commander II MICHELIN tires with these and couldn't be happier. I haven't felt more in control of my HD EG since i don't know when.
Made it from NY to Sturgis. So far so good
Good heavy duty radial tire at a bias ply tire price.
Radial tire, heavy duty deep tread tire.
Put the 777 on street glide and road glide same day same way. And both wobble like crazy. Brought to 3 shops and nobody knows what’s wrong
Saved me from riding withdrawal!
Cheapest, hardest riding tires you can buy for a Harley! But when you're in a pinch for cash, and can't live without being on two wheels like me, these tires are well worth it!
great for twisties, bad for longevity
I've been running these tires for years and they are excellent tires for better handling if you like to play in the twisties. It's worth noting that these are soft compound tires and they only last me like 3k miles on the rear. I put over 6k on a front before I see wear bars. The price is also phenomenal. A front and 2 rears at 300 bucks is still cheaper than a pair of dunlops. Grip in wet conditions is good on pavement but watch out for paint markings at intersections as they can slip out a bit with a good twist of the throttle.
Horrible customer service experience
Tire would not balance, it is defective. They refuse to offer an exchange or refund.
I like them so far seem to have better grip than the old Dunlops I had on. Time will tell how many miles they will last
So far so good. Had them installed on 17 April 2025. Rode 100 miles on them since. Can feel the difference in cornering.
Not suited for heavier models
Not weight rated for most H-D models. Okay for a sportster but not heavier models. Check your weight ratings! Just because it fits doesn't mean it is the right tire for your motorcycle.
Good Value
Great tire for the price, WAY better than any Dunlop.
Good deal. Would buy again.
Good price. Great tires. Will definitely buy again
Tire has held up better than expected. Service for the tire was awesome and very quick.
New with nipples!
Smooth riripples! Recommended if you buy both it's good to keep them both current.
Tires
Great deal, a nice and easy order and arrived quickly
great grip
They ride great nice and sticky 18rear/21 front<br /> 2000 Night Train 103 stage III S.E. CVO
Best tire on the market. Definitely buy again
Nice tire for the $
Only a couple hundred miles on the tire so far. Is a great tire for the money, rides smooth and grips the road.
Great purchase. I'd buy them again.
So far no complaints. Are as advertised. Smooth, quiet, grippy at a great price.
Road bike tire purchase
Returning one of the two tires because it has a 2-1/2 year DOT code from 2022 I want DOT codes from 2024
So far so good. But I do hear they wear out fast. We will see my true rating once I need a new one. Might try out 999 next for longer life and from what I hear, a good option for harley wheelies and drifting. Enough grip to stand her up but still enough to get her to break loose when needed.
They are awesome I would by them again
Shine wobble
Had the tire installed and now the bike wobbles. Had it checked a second time and still wobbles. Even balanced the Shinto tire does not run above 55 without wobbling.
Had them on my bike for a few years and they were great so had to go back to what works for my bike and these tires are the ones.
Great Tires Great Price
Great Tires.<br />Deep Treads<br />Great Grip<br />Just remember to break them in before highway riding or going on curves or wet roads.<br />All tires are slippery when new. <br />These break in fast and work great (1986 Goldwing)
D
Don't have many miles on them yet but I do like them so far.wil c how many miles I can get with them.stay tuned
Tires
Great tire. Good price. Fast shipping. Very satisfied
Get good mileage from the tires i ride in all weather not a bad tire for the price have em on a 2001 road king
Not recommended
So I took them to the shop to replace them. They told me that I made the worst mistake ever buying them. The quality was bad and that I was going to have to replace them in 1000 miles.
Good grip
So far, a great tire really good ride really good grip on all types of surfaces
Well worth the money! I've ran Metzler's, Dunlop, and many others. These are just as good as any!
Not great mileage but these tires hook up wet or dry
Shinko has always been a reliable tire for me!
Good
I've used these tires a few times and been very happy with them.
The shinko 777’s are the only tires that I’ll buy for my bike they are great tires super sticky and a third of the cost of a stock Harley tire
Not so good.
Tire is three years old and around 6K miles and the tread started splitting. Bike is stored in doors.
Came quickly
Very nice! Came quickly and rides well.
Great buy
Great tires for a super price.
Cheap tire, not for heavy bikes
Put on my 2000 ultra classic. Front and rear Bike felt horrible going down the road for first 500 miles. After messing with air pressure found 42f/45r made it the best ride which wasn’t saying much. After a 1000 mile trip I’m due for another rear tire. The side wall is weak compared to others on these bigger bikes. Cheap tire, in a pinch. Sure go for it. If you ride your bike everyday, all day look for a different tire.
Great all around tire very pleased.
Get what you pay for.
After 300 miles, they are OK. Maybe not quite as good as more expensive brands. And, it took a lot if weight to balance them. But, they are very good for the price.
Love my Shinko 777s
I've got Shinko 777s on my 1983 FXWG Shovelhead and my 2008 Fatbob and I love them. They are economically priced and are excellent performers especially in wet weather. I have run Dunlops, Metzlers and Michelins and so far I like these the best for the value and performance.
Poor quality tire
I’d rate it lower than a 1 if I could. Tire was returned because it was difficult to mount them needed 4.5 ozs of lead to balance. It’s obviously shaped like a damn egg.
good tire for a lighter bike but not for a touring model
I put these on my Harley ultra classic low , smooth riding tire good grip but has a lot of high speed wobble not recommended for a heavy tour bike. will go back to my stock dunlop tires
Best tire I’ve had yet
This has got to be one of the best tires I’ve ever ran on my 2010 Harley Ultra Custom. It’s got alot of grip , the cornering is amazing & I’ve racked up the miles on it & it shows very little wear. You won’t be disappointed with this tire, at all !!
Took them on a 2300 mile ride in five days, they did great.
Good Tire
These tires are less than other brands, and they work fine. They corner well and have good traction in the rain.
Have used these tires before on Heritage and my Dyna no issues..
Dot code on tires make these tires already 2 years old will age out before they wear out. Going on 99 Heritage with 27k. You can see my issue with putting 2 year old tires on. Don't know if I will ever order tires on line again. Talked to one of your reps got no satisfaction.
Ghost rider
The tires are good enough
Shinko 777 Cruiser Tires
I bought these for the value. I've been impressed already by the performance, they feel great on the road. Won't know for a while what the tread life is like.
Shinko 777 Cruiser Tires
I'm very satisfied with the shinko 777 touring tire. I put one on my 04 VL800 Suzuki. It is very comfortable at low speed as well or better at high speed. It is exceptionally try. I will do this again?
Excellent Tires
Our Goldwing rides like a dream on our new tires!
Awesome Shinkos
Love my new Shinkos great bang for my buck! Hitting the curves hard and they are holding true to form and very smooth ride. I?m pleased with the price for the value of them is really a great deal!!
Its my 5th Shinko and its great. C G stores are also great. Im a cruiser guy and its much more a sport bike store.
Quality of service is good but the tire wore out to quickly but it was the cheapest one I could find for my bike and took to long to get it but part of that was on fedex
Long lasting
I have shinko tires on my Harley and they freaking last forever. So I bought two for my son's bike.
So far so good? love the grip and turning ability.
Good grip Rides good. Love it wood recamead.
Sticky Grip
This is the second set I have put on my Harley Road King. They are a great tire for the price.
Best bang for you buck!
Bought these for my v star 650 and I instantly noticed an improvement in handling. These tires have very good grip and tread design is also pretty cool. Would buy again.
This is my second tire this season on rear, they only last about 5k miles. But considering how reasonable priced makes it ok. Other than wearing out fairly quick , the handling is very good.
Shinko 777 (Stands for Win)
I've rode Dunlops, Bridgestone, and Continentals and these tires ride and handle every bit as good for a fraction of the price. Hughly Recommend!!
Great traction, short tread life on rear.
Tires perform great on my Softail, except tread life. Less than 5,000 miles and rear tire tread is about gone, which translates to 3 rating for me.
Great tires
Don't care what the tire Posers have to say, these are great ,strong, dependable, long wearing tires.....Have tried others, too much money for too little payback.
Great Grip in the Dry and Wet, Highly Recommend for a Heave Weight Cruiser.
500 plus miles
I put these tires on a street glide and they look great, I'm very satisfied with the 777 tires. I have been on two road trips about 250miles each and no problems.
Very responsive and sticky tire. Accidentally scraped pegs because they inspire such confidence.
Great tire for the money. Got almost 17,000 miles out of the last one
Great tire
This is a good brand of tire..I would highly recommend it for the price you can't beat it
Love it
Much better than expected!!
POS
Only 4500 miles on rear tire. 99 aero 1100. I'm 71 and slow.
Tire cracked all the way around after only having it on my bike for 9 months Not worth the money. Get a better quality tire.
Dunlop? Never heard of her
Was recommended these tires by a good friend and owner of local bike shop. Coming from a set of dunlop tires on my touring bagger I couldn't belive the ride quality difference and how much more comfortable I feel on the bike.
Shinko &&&
The side wall of this tire is very stiff and because of that the bike does not squirm around. Feels VERY STABLE
Shinzo 777
The 777 I would recommend for sure. Ive got 5300 miles on a set and still going. Just put a set on my other bike so really cant comment as of yet
Good tire for the price. Only have rode with it on for about 100 miles but it has been good for my need. Mainly riding to work and back and the occasional mountain ride. Overall would recommend this tire.
Shinko 777 cruiser tires
These Shinko 777 have replaced my Dunlap brand tires that I used to run on my Kawasaki Nomad. There seems to be more tread depth and have given me more life of the tire than the Dunlap as well. These are amazing tires for the money.
Put rear on in it when I picked up a nail great tire 2000 shows no wear last shinkos went over 8000 no and I replaced front just to match up with rear
Great new rear tire
Promply shipped, didn't have issues with it, my mechanic was able to install it just in time for my Miami-Orlando-Miami trip and it held its own.
smooth ride
my 81 shovelhead fx rides and corners very well with these tires
Shinko front tire
Tire fits and works perfect on a 2001 Honda Ace
Awesome budget tires
These are the best budget tires out there in my opinion.
Grippy!
I got these to replace a set of 10 year old(!) tires on a motorcycle I bought. Needless to say, these felt like a great upgrade compared to hard, bald tires. I can't comment on the tread life yet, but so far I have really liked them.
Great tire for the price, Very Happy with it
Great tires
Great sportbike feel for cruisers. I can do so much more on my Road Glide now that I'm not on rock hard, stock tires.
Great tires for the price!
I bought these for my Softail, and mounted them myself. These are a bit hard to get on the rims, but once they are on, they sit nicely. Balancing them needs some extra work and weights, but once done the ride is nice. Feels like a new bike.
