I have put these tires on several of my motorcycle for one reason; they are what I call "Sticky tires". These tires stick to the road surface quite well especially in the turns. The trade-off here is a shorter life span especially on the rear tire. When you take price in mind when considering "ware verses milage", I'll take these knowing that I will only get one full riding season on the rear tire and save money on the tire. These tires are great in the turns because of there ability to "Stick" to the road surface in both dry and wet weather. If your looking for a longer lasting tire look at the Dunlop's or Avon's; however, if your in the market for a reliable, safe tire that digs into the road then this is the one.

Tire looks great and handles as well as any other I've ever purchased. I've had Dulops, Michillens, Firestone....<br />I'm not sure yet if tread wear as I've only had the tires a month.<br />But they seem to be a great product ...
Excellent tire at a good price
White walls generally cost more, and finding them locally was going to cost me an extra $20 per tire compared to these. After 300 miles and a couple of rain storms while riding I have had no issues with the tires maintaining grip.
Better than the stock shoes
I love these tires on my 2015 Sportster 48. Great grip in rain, heat, and even the occasional snow. They just stick to the road in corners. Rear tire lasted about a season for me. I ride it like I stole it, with a few burnouts, and still got 7,000 plus miles out of it. Most riders will get more miles out of the tire than me. Even if you don't the price point is great. I bought the reinforced version. Just bought my second rear tire, the front will last a lot longer. Now if I can stop the burnouts, and hard rear braking.
This is my second shinko 777 white wall. Great tire for the price. Service was great too. Be sure to buy a tube. They charged me 40 bucks for the in house tube because they didnt have any others that would fit.
I really like the Shinko 777, the looks, and the smooth ride you get is amazing! I didn't think tires would make a difference but they do. Definitely recommend!

Happy with the Change
Switched out my pathetic Kenda tires from my Indian to these and am very happy overall. Traction in rain and dry conditions improved as did the overall ride quality. I know these aren't the top of the line, but they are well worth the money.
Better than OEM
I love the Shinko 777 on my Harley Road King. They are much stickier than Dunlops even on wet roads. And gey don't wobble on uneven pavemen like Dunlops.. I get 18k mi. Out of the Dunlops and only 7k to 8k mi. out of the Shinko on the rear, but that's the tradeoff for the traction. Also the price is right!
Changed the look on my Wife's 883.
Haven't put many miles on tires. Just one short trip, good grip and super good looks. My Wife's 883 has been dropped 3 in. The white walls make it look even lower. The price was the best I could find and the free shipping made it a super deal. When I need tires on my FXR this is where I will buy them.
Poor tread life
Choose to go with a less expensive tire, you get what you pay for. Had good ratings don't know by who. Put 3200 miles on and tire is bald, easy riding and no burn outs. All hy way miles

Disappointing quality. Didn't even last 4 months/2000 miles.
Rear tire severely disappointing quality. Purchased and installed in August of this year (2025) and the middle of the tread is non-existent less that 4 months and 2 thousand miles later. I bought the reinforced whitewalls for my Road King and despite being meticulous about tire pressure, the rear didn't even last a season. Will be contacting JP and keeping my fingers crossed for some form of warranty. Aside from that, I did like the wide whitewall.
Quality tire for the price. Really liked the way it changed the look of my bike
Worked very well on my 2007 Sportster. Didn't have much experience with wet weather but worked well on dry pavement. Handles well on curvy roads. White walls held up well. Did require regular cleaning to maintain bright white appearance; this is to be expected. I probably put 5-6k miles on these tires (not a lot before selling the bike), but I was beginning to notice some tire wear. I wouldn't expect these to be high mileage tires but definitely worth the purchase for what you will get. Would buy again

Lookg good. Nice grippy compound. Hold air pressure well. I usually only have to add about a single PSI per week. Feel really nice all the way over in a corner or straight up cruising. <br /><br />The downside to this, I can already tell by how soft they are they will not last an incredibly long time...but at half the price of competitors for a stickier tire with whitewalls, can't be beat.<br /><br />Using these ona 2018 harley 48

Great performance for the money
I have been very pleased with the performance of this tire. Great grip in dry and wet conditions. Get tons of compliments on the whitewalls. Ended up getting about 9k miles out of the rear tire on my 2003 Sportster 1200 but be replacing with the same tire. Front tire still has decent life left.

Nice traction, so poor longevity
Great traction, but like many other soft tires, just doesn't last long. 6k Mike's on my '03 Road King and it was down to the wear bars.I change my own tires, so the savings is worth the time.
Have roughly a 1000 miles on them seem to be holding up well. Installing on 97 FLSTC, great price for wide white walls, handles and rides good.

Not worth the savings
I bought these to try and save some money, now I have to purchase something else. I had the tires mounted and balenced and the ride is terrible. The bars will vibrate and if you let go they shimmy back and forth.

Shinko 777 White wall
This is my second set of the 777 white wall. they help me get the bobber look on my 883. i do alot of city miles and the centers wear out and become flat reather quickly. but least expensive white wall out there.
Not for a commuter
I purchased this tire for my 2014 HD Street Bob due to it being cheaper and a white wall but soon realized cheap isn't the way to go. I live in Long Beach and commute to LA daily(74 miles total) and my bike is my only form of transportation. This tire was fun at first as it is a bit soft/sticky but I was amazed how fast the tread wore down. My front tire is stock and still has tread and I now have to replace this tire at the same time as my front. I maybe got 2-4K miles out of this thing and the center is totally bald. Again, I commute daily so I don't corner too often to wear out the edges more but this tire was a total waste of a purchase. Cheap means a lot here people. Switching back to the Dunlop, will review that once I get em on.

Very satisfied with the 777's so far. I've ridden on them about 300 miles now and the ride and handling is excellent. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating is the rear tire took a little extra weight to get it balanced. The front balanced with minimal weight. The bike shop that mounted them for me highly recommended these tires. The jury is still out on the mileage I'll get out for them but so far I'm very satisfied and will definately buy these tires again if wear is decent.

Absolutely insane traction. I got ABOUT 6k out of these tires, so if you're looking for longevity, maybe check out the 999s. I believe they last a little longer. I may end up running a 777 front and 999 rear. White wall also looks wonderful.
Best tire for the best price
Over the past 150,000 miles, I've tried several brand tires for my bike. These tires do great. I always get 20,000+ on the fronts, and 11,000+ on the rear.

over all good tire. It took a good bit of weight to balance. The tire I'm replacing is the exact same tire, so, my opinion of the Shinko tire has not changed.

777 same as 999 just shorter life.
Read the 999 reviews. Nd I wish/hope the 999 front was more available, and didn’t last only 1/3 to a half regular tire life’s. I have no other choice since I need the WW for my bike and it’s the only option. That said they ride great, and a front lasts twice the life of a rear so a 999 rear and a 777 front come out equal. And might as well swap them both at the same time… I would recommend because it’s the only option for my situation.

The worst!! Can't get it to take a bead and seat on the rim. Sat it the sun and under a heat lamp for 2 hours. Broke it off the tire twice and repositioned it and it's the same section every time. Junk tire!! Now I have to order something else!

I was a bit concerned because shortly after purchase, but before installation; another rider who had a set of Shinko 777 said they are not good. I however and happy to say that I find the tires very good. While I have only put about 150 miles on them; they seem to grip well and cornering is very good

Okay for the money, not uniformly balanced from factory
Great looking tires but the rear one took 6 ounces of weight to balance it. My wheels have only 2800 miles on them so it's not a wheel issue. I wish I did my research as other people on the internet have had the same balancing issues with these tires. I wish I spent a little more on upgraded to something better but don't want to pay another $140 to moun and balance a new set. ??

I got the front and the back and they are beautiful! They come blue instead of white because of a protective coating, but it washes off pretty easily and there are a lot easier to clean than I expected. It gives a great classic feel to my ‘02 Ultra Classic.

Tire is no good at high speeds and wobbles above 65 mph. I have seen this in the last 2 Shinko white wall tires. I ordered the other one from a local shop and experienced the same thing. I would not buy this for a Harley or really any other motorcycle

Not for heavier models
Not weight rated for most H-D models. Okay for a sportster but not heavier models. Check your weight ratings! Just because it fits doesn't mean it is the right tire for your motorcycle. Should not be recommended. Milage wear was poor. Better off getting a quality tire rather than paying for two of these and two installs.

I would not recommend these tires to no one. They're garbage and dangerous. Around 1500 miles on them and already ordered a different set of tires. I get the god awful death wobbles and the way these are wearing has cupped so bad. Save your money and get better tires.

They look good but the rides not the best
These tires look really good but they ride a lot differently than a more expensive tire just remember that when buying them. I would recommend them to someone on a budget like me at the moment, but if you have the money Metzler marathon ultras are wonderful and last a very long time and ride great.

Worth the money I believe.
Only have 1000 miles on the tires, but they have preformed well thus far. For the price, I was a little skeptical, but so far so good. Time will tell on mileage wear. I have not rode in rain either, so I don't know how well they perform wet.

Nice ride, this is my second set, tire wear in the rear center was noticeable after a year, but I ride daily. This tire didn’t last quite as long as the Dunlops, but I didn’t have the usual cupping with the Shinko. I’ll buy again.

These replaced 17 year old tires on a low mileage Suzuki Blvd C50T that I bought June 24, 2023. I have the Shinko 777 on my Road Glide as well, but not whitewall. I really like these Japanese manufactured tires, neither bike has enough miles on the new tires to discuss longeivity, which is what most people bash them for. I have a third set of Shinko Advan 005 on my 2015 Yamaha Stryker, with about 1000 miles on them. So far, no visible loss of tread, but again, it's only been 1k miles.
These Are great to keep the rubber side down
They have bee performining Great I will alway buy them. They feel secure and feel like your stuck to the road with great traction so if you have to doge somthing or use an escape route i will have confidence when I make that move I will have the traction I need to keep the rubber side down. Love these tires. I purchased the white walls. Aside from the looks they are very well made. They are much heavier than the tires I replaced as these are also sized up. I can feel it takes a little more to get moving, but then I ride a small cmx450. The front is 130-18 and replaced a 100-18. In the rear I have a 150-15 which replaced a 140-15. Haven't used them on wet surface yet but I can imagine they will handle it with no problem. I mostly love the way they look.

Fantastic tires so far just installed on my 09 shadow spirit very grippy so far and haven’t had a chance to try in rain yet but other reviews seem solid
