Great classic tire for the price.
Didn't want to get the firestones because I dont want to pay a high price for a low performing tire. <br /><br />If you want to rock tires like this, you probably know what you are getting into, they arent going to perform like a modern tire. <br /><br />They look cool as hell. Compared to a modern tire, they somehow make your bike look lowered, as the balooning puts less space between front tire and frame. <br /><br />Also, mainly writing this review so harley people know: a 4.00 19 will absolutely fit on a mid glide front end for a sporty, and it looks cool as hell.
Bang for the Buck
If you're looking for a cheap vintage-style tire, this is pretty much your only option. Lateral grip feels a little 'wishy-washy', but these are still pretty shreddable depending on the size of your beans. Seem like they'll hold up to about the standard mileage. Did I mention they look good on choppers?
Cool look
Just put these on a yamaha bolt with<br />spoke wheels. They look great but riding them at speeds over 70mph is a little dicey
old school tread
This tire has the same tread pattern as the old goodyears from years ago. Perfect for your old bike project and the look really stands out. A real classic looking tire!

Great tire for light off-road and fire road use definitely recommend if you can't a vintage style duel sport tire for light duty applications. I've used them for a year and they great light duty off-road tires. So that's the shinko cheat code is that there great vintage style light sport duty duel sport tires!
One of my all-time favorites
Looks great on an old bike, super easy to mount yourself with tire spoons, and a lot of grip due to the soft compound. The rounded shape (compared to the Shinko 240s) gives you cornering confidence without hitting a "squared off edge" and the rigidity of the sidewall even at a lower PSI feels very planted. Cons: Shorter lifespan due to soft compound. Pros: Looks great and grips even better.

Retro Look and feel with retro price too
Haven't had them on the road yet but mounted nicely on Vintage style Harley rims - They look great - seem to be a good rubber compound. Can't beat the price.

They have the look but handle poorly. They tend to get a wobble at higher speeds, and don't last very long.<br /><br />Best suited sitting still looking cool.

Old School looks, tallest fit, best price
Anyone running vintage tires should know that they’re not for performance, but for looks. With that said, I’ve run vintage tires on my bikes from Avon, Firestone/Coker, Dunlop, among others. Shinko puts out a clean product with all the old school looks at the most reasonable price. In terms of fit, it’s tallest among its peer group, so if you’re putting together a vintage build, I would recommend building based on the 270, because it will insure that all others will fit moving forward. Also recommend using Ride-On tire/wheel balancer inside the tube as opposed to using traditional wheel weights for balancing. Avoid riding/use extreme caution in wet weather conditions
The tire itself is very good, I have it on an aggressive styled cruiser and I have no traction problems whatsoever pushing the tires in the curves or in wet weather. My only complaint is that the tire is a soft compound, providing excellent traction and ride quality while sacrificing longevity. I've had this tire a year and I already have to replace it, but I do ride nearly every day and put decent mileage on it.

Disappointing
They look awesome. That's the only positive thing I can honestly say about them. I had to deflate them 10psi just make my bike rideable with them. I'm swapping them out asap.

Havent put enough miles on the tire to speak to its longevity but i bought it mainly for its vintage look and it looks great
These tires are perfect for backroads and gravel but definitely not for highways/bridges with paved lines in them, you will get a wobble. Not everyone will be happy with this tire. But the people who love old school stuff and understand the heritage of Harley’s then this tire is for them. Super soft and comfortable but definitely not a beginner rider’s tire.
