Total Disaster
I'm a new rider and after considerable research, including watching several YouTube reviews that demonstrated the use of the product, I decided on this kit as it seemed to be well constructed, well designed and relatively straightforward to use. Given the nature of the product it was my hope that I would never have to use it but unfortunately this past weekend proved that I was wise to carry a plug kit but unfortunately my choice of kit was poor.<br /><br />Everything worked as advertised right up to the point where the plug gets injected into the tire. The instructions say to turn the wrench until you can't turn it any more and then extract the tool which leave the plug in the tire. However when I pulled the tool out the plug was still inside the tool and upon closer examination I found that the mushroom end had only advanced about half way through the injection tube...it wasn't even close to coming out.<br /><br />I tried several times, following the instructions carefully and using a new plug each time but I could not advance the plug through the tool no matter how hard I tried. My 23 year old son gave it a go as well but to no avail as it seems the kit requires the strength of Hercules to force the plug through the tool.<br /><br />In an effort to properly evaluate this and rule out any on-the-road stupidity or mistakes on my part I tried again the night at home after watching a YouTube demo video and was again unable to get it through. Only after coating a plug in axle grease was I able to get one through. I tried another after that but again it proved too difficult and I was unable to get the plug through.<br /><br />I'm a pretty handy guy and I do all my own maintenance, including changing tires on my bike, and while I may not be Hercules I think it's fair to say that if I struggled to get the plug through the application tube the average ride will struggle too.<br /><br />As for my flat tire, fortunately a fellow rider stopped by and was kind enough to offer a rope plug which worked like a charm...simple, easy and effective. I've since ordered a rope plug kit for my own use.

You can ride for years without encountering a flat tire. But when it finally happens, this little kit is the difference between getting home, or being stranded on a lonely highway. Its simple to use, no messy glue-stuff, and did hold air-tight on the repair I did. It comes with 4 CO2 cartridges that will inflate the tire roughly 8psi each. When you use them, make sure you hold them in the foam-sleeve that comes with the kit. They get ICY cold.
Installs and works as described
I had a nail in the tread of my nearly-new rear tire, and the shops I called didn't want to plug it, they only wanted to replace it with a new tire (I asked why... they said "insurance reasons").<br /><br />So I did some research, an tried this plug kit. The steps to install are pretty straightforward, but there are, oddly, 2 sets of instructions, and they aren't exactly the same, so it pays to read both first. It only took about 15 minutes to install (taking my time, doing it right). It's been a couple weeks, and ~250 miles, and the plug is working great.
Help yourself.
Bought this two years ago and haven't needed it, until today. Absolutely recommend this product. Couldn't be easier. Follow the instructions and you won't need to call roadside assistance or bug anyone you know for help. Couple of tips: the CO2 cartridges only go so far, I carry a compact mountain bike pump with a Schrader valve chuck so I don't have to depend on battery inflator or run the bike to power one. Finally, after you get home or where you're going don't forget the self congratulatory session where you tell whoever will listen how you bailed yourself out

So today I had the opportunity to use this product , and I'm glad I had it with me, had 2 punctures, got them plugged up, directions were good, pretty easy to use, and got me home safe, will never leave home with out it. Thanks
BARF-Recommended
This is the most recommended tire plugger kit on Bay Area Rider Forum. I personally have it, and while I fortunately have not had the wonderful luck of having to use such a device, I will attest to the compactness and quality of the individual components. It's a top-notch kit and many report of it doing its job well.<br /><br />The posted video is of the kit in action. It says it's not capable of plugging angled punctures but I'm sure it will get you home or to a shop for better analysis of the situation.
Review after 3 years, 3 flats, 3 bikes
I bought the version of this that included the tire plug gun. The mushroom plug makes sense but I've had 3 flats on 3 different bikes: Victory Cross Country Tour, Ducati Monster 821, Ducati Monster 1200S. With all 3, the tire plug didn't fully seal and lost about 5 psi/day. Got me to my destination riding at cautious speeds but I would not suggest continuing to ride thinking the tire is safe. It's heartbreaking to replace nearly-new tires - 2 of my 3 had less than 1000 miles of wear, but I would not trust these plugs to be anything but a temporary fix.
CO2 inflator failed on first use
Got my first flat yesterday, and while the plug worked well and still seems to be holding, the CO2 adaptor blew up the first time I used it, spraying CO2 everywhere but inside the tire. Luckily there was a gas station nearby wheee I was able to air up -- otherwise I would've been stranded with a still-flat tire. My advice: get the basic plug kit, and buy a different/better CO2 inflator. The one that comes with this kit is crap.
A must in long rides
Got this product a couple of years ago, first time I used it on an almost brand new rear tire, tire worn out without a leak after a year and a half;<br />Keep it in storage for long, last week moved to my Goldwing's trunk since I was getting ready for a long ride, 2 days ago and 3 miles from home, I noticed weird handling, stopped, checked: rear flat tire, found the hole, plug it with this kit, set proper pressure with an air compressor up to 42 psi, Once at home, checked the tire for leaks with soap foam, none!, today tire pressure keeps.<br />Still 10 spare plugs left.<br />Will get a second kit for my other bike!
Day saver!
So glad I had this plug kit with me! about two months after purchase now, i needed it! rear tire felt funny and was severely low on air when I pulled over. Found a fencing staple in my tire! So i actually had two punctures in my tire to plug. Took a minute to figure out the plug installing system (probably should have read and saw how it worked before putting it in my bike!) but its fairly simple once you get it. Plugged both holes with ease and used two of the 4 supplied Co2 cartridges to get enough air to limp to the nearest gas stion air pump to top up. Worked great! Could probably have been nearly to the correct air pressure if I used all the Co2 cartridges. Oh well the gas station was close. once up to the proper pressure I rode 75 miles home with no more issues!

Brand new tire got screwed! :( fortunately I found the problem in my garage. This was my first attempt to use this tool, and I'm happy to say it worked perfectly. Read the directions thoroughly first.

Works great
Plugged a Vespa scooter tire that had a slow leak from a tiny nail. Easy application and holds air for good. I check the air pressure regularly and no loss. I got the co2 tire kit in case I was on one of the many backroads I ride on wasn't near any air pumps.
Life Saver
In the desert of Arizona, I had a rear flat. Purchased for this trip , it was my first tire plugger kit. After reading reviews I chose this one. 5 to 10 minutes I was back on the road. All I can say is what a fantastic kit to have. Worked exactly as promised. Directions could be a little better. I did watch a utube video. One on my riding partners has already purchased one for himself.
A MUST !!
I followed the instructions. Plugged my tire and my tire is holding its pressure just fine. Why didn't i buy one of these long time ago !!!! The CO'2 cartridge thing just didn't work for me, I just rode to the gas station and used the air hose.
Worked as advertised.
Purchased to fix a puncture in my rear tyre. The plug used by a local tire repair facility failed so I thought I would try this kit and serif it worked any better. I read the instructions and watched a you tube video to get a good understanding of how to use it. On the first two attempts the plug did not stay in place and extracted along with the tool. However once I realised that I was applying too much pressure on the third attempt the plug remained in place. So I aired the tyre up to 42psi and trimmed off the excess as instructed. The pressure has held and next day the pressure was still at 42psi. So all in all a good result and good to know if needed in the future it will definitely work and having used it once I feel a lot more confident about using it on the side of the road. Over all I would recommend.

Works when you need it
I've had the larger kit for a while but it didn't fit on my sportbike, this kit has all the essentials I needed AND it fits under the seat of my sport bike. The only thing I wish they would add is the pliers you need to really do the job right, fortunately I had a pair that fit in the bag and it still fits under the seat. If you're not wanting to pack a compressor this is the way to go. Tubeless tires though, not so much.
Did not work for me
I have only used this once and failed to stop the leak. The original hole was very small (small nail), so it's possible that I didn't accurately follow it's track with the reamer, but whatever the cause it leaked worse after the attempted plugging than with the nail in place.
Lifesaver - high quality
Took a bit of getting used to the mushroom plugs, but this came in handy and takes up very little room. My only regret was having bought this only for my nice bike, which wasn't much help when I got a puncture on my commuter and has to call the wife at zero-dark-thirty from the side of the interstate an hour from home (and 10 min from work).<br /><br />Lesson learned: bite the bullet and get one for every bike. No, you are not going to consistently swap this from bike to bike. Don't kid yourself.<br /><br />My only negative comment, if you really want to view it that way, is that I wasn't a big fan of the compressed gas cylinders. They are finite, so there's not a lot of room for error. I bought a tiny compressor that powered off of the SAE connector on my Battery Tender pigtail. I had the space for it and preferred the increased capacity. Not a knock on this kit though, as it technically does everything needed in a tiny package.
You get what you pay for.

Overly expensive, difficult to use but got me home
Luckily I've only had to use this once in an emergency situation and it held up and got me home. It is extremely difficult to get the plug through the hole even after a comical amount of reaming and it took me a couple of tries to get it right. After watching the fortnine video on tire plugs, it seems like the old bacon strip style is the most cost effective, easiest and most secure way to plug a tire so I'm going to buy those next go around.
Just installed today. Worried that there is no adhesive used in this product and it may not last.
Bought this kit about a year ago. Had a puncture today on my 2017 BMW 1200RS. There was nothing left in the hole and it was losing pressure fast. I ended up able to get to work and watched their video on the plug installation. The $200 tire only has a few thousand miles on it, hate to lose it. It was really hard to get the awl in far enough to get past the little shoulder on the black collar. That collar is the device that stays in the tire and allows the plug to slide into the tire, thru the collar. Also, you really have to open the hole up quite a lot to get that device installed in the tire. I was unable to force that collar in and had to get the biggest guy I know at work and he BARELY managed to get that in. The end of the tool is squared off and dug into my hand which made it hard to apply my best pressure. I intend to file those shoulders down a bit hoping to ease the installation. The first attempt ended up with the plug still in the collar but the second attempt went find. I overfilled the tire a bit in case it leaked on the ride home but that does not seem to be the case. I did watch a FortNine video on tire plugging methods and this one seemed to be the least reliable since there is no adhesive used. The plug can just get pushed into the tire by an unlucky rock strike. Between how large you have to make the hole and how hard it is to get the device into the tire I think I will order a rope plug kit.

First time use
Just had my first opportunity to use this kit........ twice. Worked like a charm, simple, effective. Highly recommended.
It will probably get you home
It's easy to use and the tools in the kit are high quality. But, I didn't have excellent results. It held long enough to get home but the following morning the tire had lost 10 PSI. I pushed the plug into the tire and tried another and leaked also. Immediately. I have no problems normally using a tire that has been plugged but these definitely aren't trustworthy for anything but getting to the nearest repair shop. I conditionally recommend the kit because it's better than walking away from your bike.
Reliable standard for tubeless tires
I am NOT reviewing the version with CO2. CO2 is useless; you need to carry a pump. The plugger itself, though, works beautifully. Hint, if it's a small puncture, work that reamer really well. If the hole is too small, wires in the cord ply will saw through the plug and your repair will fail. Correctly installed, these plugs can last for thousands of miles - until it's time to replace the tire due to normal wear. Also, I suggest you make a copy of the instruction sheet as it will gradually wear and become illegible. I replace mine every couple of years. The kit itself will last pretty much forever, though I expect the rubber plugs eventually harden.

This kit exceeded my expectations. The plug insertion tools are all metal and very well made. There is an ample supply of plugs and four CO2 canisters for tire inflation.<br /><br />The detailed instructions are printed on a laminated card that wont be destroyed when it gets wet. The whole kit fits inside the rugged zip pouch.<br /><br />The only thing not included that is needed to fix the flat is a pair of pliers. There is room in the pouch to put a pair and still have it fit in the under seat compartment on my bike.
Low cost insurance when needed.
Have not used this yet but have if a flat does happen. Everything looks like quality parts that will work well.
Great kit. I have used it on many vehicles. The handles are small for big hands tho.
Fortunately have not used it yet but it appears to be of very good quality.

I have not had the opportunity to put this to use yet, but it is good peace of mind knowing its there. Well packaged making it easy to transfer from bike to bike. Worth the money in my opinion.
Excellent solution for the typical nail-in-the-tire type puncture
Used the kit I keep on my 2013 FJR to fix a hole made by a nail.<br /><br />Instructions included with the kit are easy to follow and I had the flat fixed in 10 minutes. The quality of the tools included are first rate and have a very solid and well made feel to them.<br /><br />No pressure loss since applying fix so I'm happy to keep riding on the rear tire that picked up the nail until replacement time.<br /><br />Highly recommended to keep on the bike. Note that I didn't use the CO2 canisters as my fix was done in my own garage so can't speak to how effective that part of this fix kit is.
Easy Tubeless Tire Repair
I have several of these. This tool makes it very easy to repair a puncture in a tubeless motorcycle tire. In my experience, this is a very durable repair in a motorcycle tire. It will also repair punctures in automotive tires, but the steel belt damages the plug in use and it will eventually leak (plan on 50 to 100 miles). The good news is that you can install another plug if you need to. I'm not a big fan of the CO2 tire inflation systems. They will work, but it takes more then one cartridge to get the job done. I buy the inexpensive 12 volt compressors, remove the case to make them smaller, and then put an accessory plug on the electrical cord so it is easy to connect to the bike. (Be sure and have the bike running when you use it so you don't end up with a dead battery.)<br />If only there was something as simple as the Stop and Go tool to repair tube type tires.

The plugs will not go through the insertion tube. I opened the package, read the instructions, Inserted a plug and turned the screw, nothing happened, soaped up the plug and tried again, nothing. Don't waste your money.

This tool will get you out of a tough spot when you pick up a nail or get in flat tire trouble. Compact and easy to use. The repair will get you home or to the nearest motorcycle repair shop.
This little kit has everything that you would need to repair a puncture in a tire. The tire must be tubeless. This kit is a must have on a road trip as there are millions of nails etc. out there. I have carried one for years and it is a lifesaver.

Works well
When I received this product, I was skeptical as there were more procedures and parts than the usual plug and glue operation that I'm used to, but this actually works well. After looking at the directions several times (photos) and using the tools as they're depicted, everything becomes much more logical. I plugged my tire, it held well and rode on that plugged tire for about 3 months (tires had only 2000 miles, couldn't pitch them!) with no issues (not recommending). I did need to add air at a compressor 20 miles down the road after plugging the tire, but that was expected using one CO2 canister. Yes I do like and recommend this product and will purchase again.
Have not used it, hope to never have to use it. You never now when that time will come, it's great having a little piece of mind knowing if and when that time comes...Your Ready.

Nice tire plug set. All necessary items in a small compact case. Hope to never use it, but glad I have it with me on the long rides.
Not much money for peace of mind
I haven't had to use it yet and I hopefully never will, but everything in the kit is high quality and the pouch itself is compact. I keep mine in my backpack since it was too thick to put under the seat, and the weight isn't really noticable.

Although I haven't had to use it yet - I can ride without the worry of being stuck on the side of the road with a flat. The kit is a great size. Can fit in my tank bag or thrown in my pannier.

Compact with all the tools
Like everyone, this is a product I hope I never need to use. It's compact so I don't notice it when traveling and it looks like it has all the tools I would need to fix a flat and, with 4 CO2 cartridges, it would allow me to mess up the first time trying to fix the flat.
Now that both my wife and I both have mag wheels I purchased this, hoping that We will never have to use it. But it looks great and will work if we need it

Luckily, I haven't used this yet. So I can not give it full review yet. First impressions are great so far, nice carry case, looks like solid tools well built tools. Plugs seem to be quality also.

Peace of mind insurance
I bought this product for a long trip of over 2200 miles as an insurance in case of a puncture. Thankfully I did not have any problems with my bike. The kit has all the tools required and packs up nice and compact. I am glad I have this with me.

Peace of mind
I recently purchased the Stop Go kit for a friend's birthday gift. I've had a kit of my own for years although mine does not have the CO2 cartridges as I carry a small compressor in my saddlebag. Fortunately I've never had to use the kit for myself but I have helped two other riders. Both times the kit worked as advertised and got both riders home. The kit has sturdy components and is easy to use. Hopefully the kit is only needed on rare occasions which makes the laminated instruction card handy for a quick refresher before performing the tire repair. Great product.

I've not had to use it, but it sure is nice to know it's there if I need it. The entire kit is contained in a compact, durable zippered pouch, so I can easily keep it in my tank bag.

Compact and complete
I rode down to Pigeon Forge, TN last week from Michigan and back. Toured through the Blue Ridge and Smokies and wanted to be prepared for the unexpected.

Luckily I have not had a flat tire since buying this tool. But I can tell by the quality that if I do, it wil not bust off in the tire like the one I had before. This tool looks top quality. I will be buying one for all my vehicles.

This is a small kit and carries all you need to repair a tire problem on the road. The instructions make it extremely easy to get the problem fixed and back on the road.

Friend drove into my office parking lot with a flat on his bike. I said that I had just received this flat tire kit. We tried it out and eureka it worked on HIS bike. Now I have confidence that if I get into difficulty with a flat out in the sticks I have a way out.
