The fuelpak 4 does not do what the fuel pack 3 did it only allow exhaust upgrades. The fuelpak 3 allowed the upgrade of the entire proformance system,air cleaner ,cams engine big bore kits and exhaust . Don’t know why the change but the fuelpak 3 was a great product not please with the change it did not do what I needed it to do had to buy another tuner.
Awesome Little Tuner
Everyone needs to calm down with the negative reviews. Everyone wants a tuner out of the box that's cheap and doesn't require additional Dyno tuning. Well, it doesn't work that way. <br /><br />This is an EPA compliant device with auto tune - and yes the auto tune does work. If you're using it for its intended purpose Stage 1 only, then this works really well. If you're planning cams, heads, big bores etc. go with a power vision. I run a power vision on my performance bagger because it's cammed (the older PV last model that comes with cammed maps from Dynojet). I run an FP4 on my daily sportster that WILL remain stage 1 only - runs better, no issues, easy install.<br /><br />Ideal usage: stage 1 daily bike that you want to dial in proper AFR on.
FP4 is the way to go!
If you just installed pipes, an after market intake and your bike is running rich. This is what you're looking for! It was quick and easy to install. I noticed a huge difference in how my motorcycle rides. You can tweak a couple things like your Rpm Idle, decel pops, and rev limiter. If you're looking to go stage 2 plus or bigger cams or even a big bore kit. This isn't for you. If your looking to clean up the way your motorcycle performs with after market intake and exhaust look no further! Highly recommend!
Not bad
Not a bad unit. My bike is older, 2010,and a lot of the features on the FP4 is designed for newer bikes. I was not told that in advance, so I'll give it 4 stars.
Bad tuner
Not that great of a tuner go with a dyno commander instead if you plan to do anything stage 2 and more. Does not connect to Bluetooth very and disconnects intermittently
Vance and hines
Bought it and would not link up to my bike company said it was the right one but no luck sent it back also when someone is in need of tuning good luck finding a Vance and Hines dealer with that said I do live in the sticks bigger cities may be easier to find a dealer able to tune

Doesn't do what it advertises. Small selection of exhaust to choose from. Did not see an option for headers. Says to put your bike in acc mode to tune but it only works in ignition position which pulls down your battery in the time that it takes to load. Didn't see any option to auto tune. Very displeased.
Worst Customer Service
Worst customer service. Super buggy, loses connect all the time so you can’t use the live data. It’ll cause your 6 gear light and your cruise control not to work.<br />I’ve sent 4 emails not response and called them 3 times waiting over 20 mins each time ending with they telling you they’re not available leave a message.
Waste of Money
Bought it for my Dyna and can’t even get passed the initial update screen. Very dissatisfied and disappointed for an expensive product. Reached out via email twice and haven’t heard from support. I had just purchased a Vance and Hines air Cleaner and was looking into a full exhaust. I wanted all Vance and Hines products but I’m starting to doubt my decision.

Works just fine. I picked generic base map and auto tuned it in a 20 min ride. A couple hundred miles into the tune and couldnt ask for more with drivability. Throttles great. Now, if v&h would unlock the program so we could control the af and timing there would be no need to step up to another system when your ready.

Seems to be working well. Did have some connectivity issues with updates but after the updates where installed all is good.

2008 ultra fp4
So far so good! I got the tuner in and made sure my battery was fully charged and still on the tender. I also turned Bluetooth off on my radio. Everything loaded up easy and I was able to install the tune easy. I haven’t rode my bike much but it does seem to run a lot better.
CONNECTION ISSUES
A lot of Connection issues with FP4 my friend has FP3 and it would perfectly fine
What a difference! Really amazing product that helped my Harley run super smooth. Eliminated deceleration popping and on and off throttle is super smooth now where as it used to be jerky.
Make sure battery is charged before tune
I see alot of people have a problem connecting to the tuner. I had the same problem. Kept giving error code. Charge your battery. As soon as I plugged in the trickle charger the code went away and was able to tune it no problem.
pay more for something else
I bought this thinking that everything would've had to had been updated and fixed? no. If this is the option you go with, make sure your volts are reading at least 12.5, make sure you have an android, join the "fp4 users" page on fb and get in contact with Bryan. If you do these things, I'm sure you'll get the tuner to connect. If you don't do those things - best or luck to you.
Garbage!!! And can't return.... connects when it wants. Won't connect 75% of the time. Worst part is when I finally got it to connect and download a map the bike now runs worse and I can't get back in too change anything.
2009 HD Fatboy FP4 "Autotune" Disappointing
Installed the FP4 about 1 month ago on my 2009 HD Fatboy with a 90 degree Cobra/K&N air intake and Cobra 3" Twin Slip Ons. With about 1000 miles of "Autotune" riding, I was never able to capture any "Learned Cells". Getting through to live tech support is hit or miss with sometimes several minutes on hold only to get a "Service not available at this time".<br />One one occasion reaching a tech I got conflicting information from what was shon on there videos and several other reseller videos. <br />My last attempt for tech support I reach a technician named Brian. He spent several minutes with me as I explained my issues. After uploading the stock V&H map to him, he was able to tweak this map and send it back to me. The Fatboy ran somewhat better but using this map in "Autotune" still did not give me the results I was expecting. <br />This ECM tuner may be more suitable to newer HD models.
It's garbage
Loved the FP3. This new FP4 is garbage. Supports only VH exhausts and gives no options for hi flo air intakes. Costs more, gives less. Do research before you buy because here is no returning once it's opened and paired.

Was under the impression it was a better version of the old unit - does not support a cam upgrade - was the whole reason I purchased the thing - darn!
Tuner doesn't exactly work as flawlessly as its said to tuner is kind of okay but it shut my neutral light off and the exhaust has a lot of popping even with trying to tune it out and its hard to do an auto tune session because it barely wants to connect to the app

I would love to review the FP4. However bad luck prevents me from doing so. The fit is perfect, but a bad starter clutch and ring gear prevent me from firing it up. Waiting on parts.

Eliminator 400 slip ons
Sound excellent, not too loud, nice rumble. I can tell the increase in power, just a bit, combined with the vh cage fighter air cleaner and fo4 tuner.

Did what I need it too! Was having issue with running to lean, the tune was wrong and this fixed it. Runs like a top now!

FP4 won’t connect
Cannot get it to connect to my bike. I sent it back to V&H and they sent it back saying “connected immediately, functioning properly “ on a yellow sticky. Plugged it into my bike and still had the same issue. I am once again going to have to talk to V&H. Hopefully I don’t have a 450 dollar paper weight! I can’t afford to buy another brand tuner.

2010 Fatboy <br />I had to get a tuner when I upgraded my intake and I chose the FP4. There was no premade map that matched my pipes. In fact, the only pipes to choose from were V & H styles. So I just guessed which one was closest to mine and the map worked okay I guess. Then I tried to use autotune and had connection problems even though my iPhone is pretty new. I guess I’ll ride around with their okay pre made map for a while and try autotune again sometime in the future.
Do it!
Super simple to do, just make sure you have a good bluetooth connection. I couldn't get it to hook up in my garage so I wheeled it out into the driveway and then it became super easy, just follow the instructions on your phone. It took about 5-10 minutes total.

LOVE IT!
I was worried about the less than stellar reviews. Only issue I had was module did not power up on assc. but it did on ignition. Bike ran good before I thought but now cooler and more power and seems like better fuel mileage.
Connection Issues All The Time
The connection keeps dropping even though I have most recent iOS update on iPhone and the app.<br />I also don't see all the features in the app that were advertised. Downloading a map was fairly straightforward.
Seems legit.
Easy install. Limited selections for basic tune. Auto tune worked pretty good.noticeable power gain. Throttle response adjustment and decel pop adjustment is a cool feature. Need paper step by step instructions for us old guys.

Great tuner and is really making my bike run better. The app is easy to use and has great features.
Haven't been able to use it. The app will not connect to the fuelpack. Apparently alot of people are having this issue.

Good tuner, bad tech support
Tuner seems good. Should of went with fp3 for future stage upgrades as the fp4 is only for stage 1. But fp4 wont void your warranty as the fp3 would. who knows, maybe they add that in the future. As for vance and hines tech support to fine tune and questions. Terrible. Have gotten through 1 out of 10 times.
