Terrible product
Terrible product and no customer satisfaction. The FP4 will not support a a cam which is not stated anywhere in their disclaimer. Not looking like I will receive a credit/return so I am stuck with a $500 paper weight. DO NOT BUY

The only thing this thing did was cause a check engine light to come on. I should have gone with the fp3, but noooo I wanted the newest and best. Welp I got the newest.
What a let down!!
Super disappointed, I am a big fan of the fp3, used them on all my bikes so when this came out I was not worried. Well shame on me. Had trouble right from the start. I had to call the company to give me a work around a firmware error. Cant even look at error codes on iphone, just seems like the company didn't really care about us this time around. No update yet to fix issues. As far as the tune its not great, just super disappointed. Normally I would brag to people how good their stuff is but I would say stay away from this. When you call the company all they say is "Um, we are working on it".
Buyer beware
BEWARE! If you have an iPhone, do not buy this. It simply does not work. You will not be able to flash a map or auto tune. I don?t understand how they can release a product that is so fundamentally flawed. V&H?s support response is ?find a friend with an android phone, and borrow their phone?. Are you serious???!!!! This is uncharacteristic of V&H.
DO NOT BUY THIS PICK ANOTHER TUNER IT DOES NOT WORK AND THEY HAVE NO CLUE TO WHEN IT WILL. BUT THEY ARE GLAD TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.
The FP4 tuner does not work. If you have a iphone you can only load a map/tune. You can not look and the maps fuel or air ratio to see the changes, you can not autotune, you can not even adjust the decel pop like Advertized so only maybe15% is working. On andriod you ca nsee the fuel ratio when you load new map but there is still no autotune, decel pop adjustment, and only work about 40% of the function. It has been out for months and not fixes. Should not have been released and for sale when it does not work. When you call them one tech will tell you yes that works so you try it and it don't. You call back and another tech will tell you they are working on it so those option (Autotune/Decel pop/and fuel/air ratio funtions do not work) They will not offer to return your money for buying something that does not work jsut tell you we are working on it.
Doesn't Work
Bought this only to find out it does not work with my iPhone. Spent $1500 on Vance and Hines pipes, air intake and FP4 only to brick my $32K Harley.
Disappointing
Waited a year for this to be released. Have used the FP3?s on 3 of my bikes and loved how it worked. Unfortunately right out the gate, the packaging was cheaper on the FP4, the unit itself feels lighter and cheaper as well. I plugged it in after installing my new exhaust and the app isn?t working right. May be an issue with the iPhone IOS compatibility, but it just keeps giving me a ?firmware? error. I hope they fix this soon, but given it took them over a year to put this out, I?m not holding my breath. Just sucks. Was really looking forward to this and have been let down.

WAISTE OF MONEY DO NOT BUY IT!!!! READ MY REVIEW this is trash if you have an I-phone, you can not adjust throttle sensitivity or delete maps after you choose them, I had the fuel pack 3 on my 2017 street glide and loved it. If I could give this a zero I would complete waist of money, waited on hold for 2 hours for customer service for them to tell me that all the features they advertise should be available for I-phone users in January of 2023, its now almost June and still not available.
Don't buy it
Waste of money. Constantly have issues connecting to the bike and showing wildly inaccurate gauge info when it does connect. I just installed a cam and now find out that unlike the FP3, the FP4 has zero maps that support an aftermarket cam. Complete waste of money.
FP4 Is a joke
I called V & H and MADE SURE it was the same thing as the FP3. Even their videos say its the same thing just smaller; and that was a lie. there are no options to do anything with, you have only have 6 choices in pipe manufactures one being generic. No option I seen without baffles. THEN if you have and iPhone forget about using some of the hidden options, I had to go get a cheap Android one to show other options ( that I could not change) IF you ask me its false advertisement.<br /><br />Had to reload app 3 times before it would connect to the phone. when connecting it gets hung up.<br />But in todays market it's ok to bend the customer over the desk without getting in trouble.
Save your money, get a shop tune.
It you're buying this for performance, don't bother. Save your money and get a tune done at a shop. Was informed by a tech that the FP4 can not and will not add fuel beyond EPA regulations. Absolutely waste of money. Do not buy this.
Avoid
Do not purchase it will brick your bike. They promised a full working iOS app end of April and absolutely zero. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. V&H is loosing a lot of dedicated customers. Shame on you.
Fuelpak FP4 ECU Tuner
It still doesn?t work with iPhone im still waiting for that fix. Pretty disappointed. Vance & Hines should compensate everybody who bought this and has an iphone. To me it?s false advertisement because it clearly DOES NOT work with iphone.
Happy with product
After reading the negative reviews, I purchased the FP4 for a Stage 1 upgrade to my Road Glide. No concerns. After powering up & connecting to my iPhone, the unit went through a firmware update. Once complete, I was easily able to find the map needed & flash. I respect the comments from previous reviewers, but assume the firmware update resolved most issues. This was as easy as FP3s I've used with previous bikes. Would recommend for Stage 1, but I have no experience with Stage 2 or beyond.

Fuelpak FP4 won?t work with iPhone at this time
I bought the new fuelpak FP4 . Nowhere do they advertise it won?t work for the iPhone at this time . Very disappointed in this company. if you?re going to release your product it should work as you advertise . Called the company spoke with a tech/representative ,He advised me just use the canned map the auto tune won?t make it run any better anyways! At least I was able to upload a preloaded map to my bike
Meh... its alright I guess.
It's nice if you just want to do auto tune. Still to new of a product [I belive] to be able to do anything like you could on the fp3. You can auto tune and monitor your sensor activity. There is no decel pop or throttle progresstivity settings, no GPS enabled ride data, and a lot of bugs in the system.
Doesn?t work with 131ci
I was unable to use it because I have a 131ci and it wouldn?t let me do anything other then 114ci
FP3 is better.
I have to clear out codes every flash. Never had that issue with the FP3. Also it doesn't have newer exhaust system setups to choose from. Autotune almost destroyed my motor.I had to reset back to factory map. I've restarted the autotune. Hopefully after a few more rides, it will populate a good map.

Good product and easy install friendly user, this is my second FP4.
Waste of Money and Resources
I got it installed at the dealer ship. Check engine light came on. Dealership needed to reset my ECU and eventually it got working. After a month I tried connecting to bluetooth to upload ECU map to send to V&H as they told. Suddenly my bike gave me VINERROR. Not responding at all. Now towing to Dealership again. I regret FP4. Fp3 was better.
Be cautious.
Not a great product. Doesn't do as much as the FP3 did. I've seen a lot of people have issues where it jams their ECU and their bike is screwed. I've had multiple issues with mine.
Quit working
Thing just stopped working. Sent off to vh and they just sent it back and it’s doing same thing. Bike not even picking it up to connect. Waste of my money.

Good but expensive for 1 or 2 times of use.
Did it's job well, just a little upsetty spaghetti on the price really only needing this once or twice and now it's an expensive thing that sits in my toolbox. Better than the alternative though on having the dealership do it for you for twice as much. I guess if you're using it to monitor your bike and keeping it connected makes a little more sense but realistically I doubt you'll use that feature. <br /><br />Side note for anyone that has trouble connecting a second time, restart your phone. Cleared up the issue connecting.
Great Tuner
I have used the V&H FP3 on my last four bikes and the FP4 has the same easy installation. Tech support is very helpful in finding the right load if you are using mufflers not listed in the programmer.
It basically only has auto tune
What a difference this tuner made! Easy programming and can make adjustments from the app.
I had a little glitch with my ECM but Vance&Hines fixed it ASAP.<br />Best customer service ever!!!
Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP4 E
Took forever to finally get it connected to the iOS app. The Android app couldn't even detect it.<br />After fighting with it for over an hour, I was finally able to get it connected. From there, I was able to update the firmware and flash a map. When taking my bike for a test ride, the connection issues cropped up again and I couldn't monitor anything. For a $450 device, I can't believe they can't figure out something as simple as a bluetooth connection.
Installed V&H Power Duals & Eliminator 400 slip-ons, along with an H-D SE high flow air cleaner on a 2021 Tri Glide (114 M8). Knew it would need tuning, but didn’t want to Dyno it. Bought the FP4. Got the app on my iPhone, plugged it in, connected Bluetooth to iPhone, selected my pipes and mufflers, and flashed the map that came up. Had to clear a “loss of battery” code - I suspect that’s typical. Then was good to go. Runs, performs and sounds great. I work with electronic engine controls on large industrial engines for a living, so I have some experience, but I didn’t need it. Literally, anyone who’s familiar with using smart phones could do this.<br />I like the other features a lot. You can view and clear diagnostic codes, view sensor data, and much more. All through a smart phone. Excellent product.
Incomplete product
We purchased this fuel pac for a 22 Harley Fatboy. When it arrived ( overseas) turns out the software for all the tuning modes has still not been written. So this product is worthless. Stick to fuel pac 3?s. At least they are complete and working.

Great product so far! Use it with my stage II set up and bike rips!! Had my mechanic tune bike when cams were installed. Bike front end easily comes up and tires break traction. I went with the SE-8 447 cam and the way it is tuned is sick. Bought FP4 through another vendor cheap.
Great customer service
Had an issue with the tuner disabling my ecm. Reached out to Vance and Hines tech support. Aside from behind on hold for a while, it was a great experience. Matt worked with me through some troubleshooting and eventually sent me a shipping label to send the ecm to him. He had it back within three days, and I was able to install and start the bike right away. Would recommend
NIce to have
I wish my FP3 worked on my new bike, but I had to buy this to avoid the dreaded CEL. I chose this because my FP3 was easy to use and affordable, and i learned that the FP4 is too. I am a stage 2.5-3 kind of rider, so this will work for all my needs ant a reasonable price and withpout haveing to deal with the dealerships or "outlaw" shops that would be the same price as the FP4
FP4 Autotuning
It appears to be tuning my bike ok, but the app loses connectivity while monitoring parameters. It will also lose connectivity while trying to get the squares to turn green during autotune. It can get a bit aggravating.

This module is grade. It doesn’t really have the exact combination of exhaust that I used, but I just picked something that was close enough.

Complete junk
I’ve had it installed for about a month. Complete waste of money. The app is glitchy, doesn’t work if you have a cam upgrade, made ZERO difference in performance, ride ability or fuel economy. The worst of all is the auto tune mode. The app froze in this mode during the weekend rendering the bike useless causing me to miss club rides. Very frustrating! Weekday customer service is ok but closed on weekends.
Awesome product
Great product, it only took 20 minutes to install and upload a map and fine tune that map. <br />Haven’t tried the auto tune feature YET! <br />Some have said you won’t notice any difference with a stage 1 and a flash map but I sayBS
Ping and decel popping.
Had a little issue with it communicating to the internet. Had to go to a 5G Android cellphone area to get everything to work. My 2021 TriGlide had a pinging issue with the stock tune and also decel popping which was annoying. After putting in the VH tune and adding the decel pop correction, both issues were reduced significantly. So far happy with how the Trike is running.
Meh. Works, but I wish I paid way less.
I think 3-Stars are fair. It works. It does what it says. But it ain’t worth the price. Minus 1 star for being waaaay overpriced. They removed the service feature….so minus 1 star removed for false advertising. 3 stars. Happy with the tune though. Smoothed the throttle out, which is why I bought it.
Great product
I gave it 4 because i can only use on 1 motorcycle so I have to buy another for my other motorcycle. I used it on the stock motorcycle and it made no noticeable change. Easy to use product
Very fast tune and flash. Takes the work out and makes it quick. Since all these tuners are about $400 average I wouldn't say its a bang for the buck. This cost more than the VH air cleaner I bought and I only needed it for 10 min. But it's necessary.
FP4 install went a little more difficult then the 3 I put in my 15 but overall went ok. Had to call due to a high idle issue the tech first by email due to a weekend install was ok but not very responsive to the weekend wrench guy. Had to water till weekday to talk with human to better understand the issue. Found exhaust leak created the high idle. My request would be have tech support by phone on weekends to aid us home mechanics otherwise all seems good with install.

This is the easiest way to wake your bike up, after exhaust, that is. Totally worth it.

It was a little complicated figuring out how to correctly connect to the fp4 and it disconnects every ones in a while but ones I figured out how to connect correctly I love it the only reason I can not give it 5 stars is because the bluetooth disconnects sometimes.
changed air filter & mufflers and the FP4 program stopped the back firring when you let of the gas..
Great Product
Easy installation and great customer support, called them and the talked me thru a map custom for my bike.
Easy to use. Just make sure you have it on accessory when loading the maps. Or you’ll kill your motorcycle like I did. Having heated grips on and the ignition to ON. Don’t do that.

This tuner installed easily, and gave my bike added performance. The App helps, but is confusing at the same time. Plus, the software/app doesn't respond like the bike in the Install video. After 3 separate rides in AutoTune(you must cut bike off, & restart after each ride)the bike had improved high RPM performance. Off line torque felt almost the same. Increased performance!
It tends to disconnect, however it was extremely easy to use and complete. I was looking for preloaded maps however there is not much in it for this. I tried to call the support on it however no one answered after about 50 rings
Some bugs with the app.<br />However V&H customer service is top notch! They were very helpful, and sent me a dyno tune map that is awesome! Bike runs great!
With all the poor reviews I thought I would be disappointed and aggravated. Surprise, obviously V&H has worked some of the bugs out. iPhone worked well. Still playing with some of the features, but downloaded the new mapping without any issues. <br />Here’s to keeping fingers crossed.

I don?t know why everyone is having so much trouble. I found it easy to install and easy to use. I had to wait for awhile for it to pair up with my phone because of cell coverage. I?m very happy with my purchase my 2021 standard runs great..!!!

They seem to be still working out some bugs with this one. I liked my power commander a little better. Been waiting a few days for tech to call me back for a better map.
Worked for me bike now runs better with the big radius 2 into 2 on my 2022 soft tail street bob 114 cu inch. Only down side for rn it has only options for the 114 right now. Thought there would be different tunes for ex; performance tune, crackle tune, etc. Used IOS device. App is a little buggy
