This product is above and beyond the stock baffles
I bought the competition baffles figuring that the stock pair that come with the 3" round twin slash V&H slips-ons would not be to my liking. I have a 2016 FXDLS (Low Rider S), that these went nicely with. Because I left the catalytic converter in my 2-1-2 stock pipes, the competition baffles made up for the difference. They are a perfect purr at 2,000 rpm, mean through the torque band when getting on it, and absolutely roar at 5,000 rpm. If you like mild exhaust for regular/sporty cruising, but not ridiculously loud, these are perfect.

Installed them on 2017 Softail Breakout,<br />time to installed them in a half hour then flash the Vance & Hines Fuelpak FP3 Autotuner ,<br />road test was great! ,<br />this will piss off your neighbors who cares about them lol , <br />they sound great all Harley Davidson should sound,better than the stock ones that came with the 3" slip ons ,<br />a great up grade for your Vance & Hines slip ons
Louder
Well, it's louder than the sock baffle that came with my twin slash slip-ons. No real test on performance yet. Not sure if the price is right for just one piece, but heck, I can't just get one. There should be a price drop when bought in pairs in my opinion.
My new pipes
I got these baffles so I could be the loudest if my group. It worked and I an now riding a true Harley as I have that perfect sound. The 3 inch gives it that extra low sound so my friends are jealous. A little hard putting in and we had to pound the end all the way. Then hole was not lined up. But they won't come out as they were that tight.
Sounds Great
Swapped my standard baffle on my twin slash slip ons on my 2016 Low Rider S and really sounds mean. Great throaty sound and was easy to swap out

2012 FLHTP
Easy to install but it wasn't so easy to take the old ones out. Ended up stripping the button head screws. Anyway, they sound awesome compared to the stock baffles. Along with my stage 3 kit with big cams, these baffles sound bad A $$!
perfect fit, awesome sound
These, along with the fishtail slip-ons came amazingly fast! They fit perfectly, along with having no install issues made an awesome addition to my Road King!
Great Sound & Tone
I bought my bike used with V&H Twin Slash mufflers with quiet baffles. Super simple job. Loosen up the heat shields. Unscrew the baffle screw. Remove and replace with the competition baffles. Install the new baffle screw that is provided in the kit. Fire it up! Sounds great!!! Very loud and clean tone. Coming from the quiet baffles, buying the competition baffles was much more affordable for more sound than buying new mufflers.
Super easy to install - Great sound
I was first thinking of going with a set of long shots, but wasn't crazy about spending the money for a tuner and an air filter, although I love the look of the aftermarket filters. Im super happy with the decision to go with the slip ons. I added the competition baffles which help the exhaust bark a little more.
Very hard to install but the is sound good
Hard to install, the fit was very tight but only on one baffle. The install nut fell off where it was spot weld.<br />If I could have taken it out I would have and sent them back.<br />But they are on and sounds good.
V and H Comp. Baffles
These baffles were just what I wanted. Order shipped quick and arrived in just a few days or so. No problem with the service, even very good.
A little pricey for what it is, but once you start the bike it's worth it
The bwck tabs need to be b ed nt out for a tight fit. I had no problem installing and recommend. These turn the standard V&H baffels from nice to WOW!
Great sounding Baffle
I purchased these Competition Baffle for my Python Black Mamba 3 inch exhaust on my Road King. I wanted alittle more sound and performance and these baffles are great. They made the slip ons louder and performance is great. I would highly recommend to anyone that has a Vance & hines or Python 3 inch system and wants a louder pipe while keeping back pressure and performance.

For the ones who's looking to don't disturb the people around them I advice them to place it as it will make to deduce the sound.

Loud n powerful sounding
Big upgrade from stock baffles. Bike sounds more powerful, but adding a new sns cam brought these pipes to life, the baffles are absolutely perfect for performance upgrades I made on my bike

I would not say they are much louder than the standard baffles they came with but they do have a deeper tone and I’m guessing they will get a little louder with age, but price and shipping were good through JP👍🏽

So much better than the stock baffles my slash cut slip ons came with. Much louder and much deeper tones. Install was fairly easy. I put the screw in the backside to be able to get a grip with needle nose pliers to manipulate into place and get screw lined up.

Noticeably a louder and deeper aggressive tone, but not not too loud that you want ear plugs. For me, they’re just about right. The standard baffles sounded good, but we’re just too quiet for my taste. With these baffles in, I can still hear the exhaust while cruising at highway speeds. The standard baffles were just too quiet for me while cruising.

My bike sounds and feels amazing now. I was bummed on the stock baffles the competition baffles lit these pipes right up. Hell yah!!
Deep and louder
The sound is deeper and louder especially in higher RPM's, noticiable at idle. Easy install, less than 30 minutes for both.

Get them
These baffles are l little deeper and a little louder at idle. Quite a bit louder at 3,000 rpms. Well worth the low cost for the sound improvement. Hint: Putting the first one in was a little difficult. The second one, I tapped around the inlet side with a dead blow hammer very lightly and it slid right in nice and easy, still tight enough not to rattle.

This was done on a 2017 FLS. I am mechanically inclined, but do not do a lot of motorcycle repairs. Anyway, I got home from work about 6:00 and the baffles were waiting for me at the door. I had them in and riding by 7:15. I was very surprised how easily the swap was. Sure I had a bit of a hang up. One baffle came out easily and was replaced easily. (I didn't have to remove the slip-on.) One slip-on had to be removed from the bike to knock out the old baffle out and I had to persuade the new new one back in. Easy Peasy!! Reset the FP3 Fuel Pack, cranked it up and all I can say is WOW!! I had the stock baffle that came with the V&H 3" twin slash slip-ons, which is 1(Spinal-Tap reference) louder than the quiet baffles. These baffles really added the low end thud I was looking for. I was going to buy the long shots for my bike, but I thought I would try these first. $80 for two is better that $700 IMHO! Any how, I am very pleased with the sound of the replacement baffles. If you want to add a little more rumble on a budget, then these are for you. I highly recommend these baffles.
Did make my 2018 softtail deluxe louder. I have Vance an Hines twin slash. Which came factory baffles.

These gave my slip ins just a little more basey growl. Def worth it
